Well let's be honest. The animators would need to be really, and I mean REALLY incompetent to do that on ACCIDENT. I mean really. I could understand accidentally forgetting to put wings on RD or something, but to put wings on someone who shouldn't have them? Think about it!

I don't know. I didn't even know it was there until it was pointed out, and even then I had to take a good look to see what was being pointed out so it wouldn't surprise me if it did get past on accident (though I am one set of eyes out of many, and many obviously catch more).

There's plenty of other animation errors with ponies getting extra parts or less parts (earth ponies in cloudsdale, "alicorns" here and there, regular ponies besides the six in the crystal empire, etc.) all over in the series (a popular background character is even the result of an animation error), and considering how good the animation is overall in the series I really won't fault them on an oops here and there.

Someone noticed something weird about the random alicorn sightings:

i have a strange feeling about whats in the box if a wonderbolt pin rainbow thread and a rubber chicken..ok really i know shes pinkie but why? anyways i  think maybe that theres a bunch of memories in there that makes an element inside them? or maybe all those things turn into magical items like the elements of harmony idk thats my thinking i just hope its nothing lame like a rock or something (i hope it takes away twilights wings)

People are saying it's fake, though. I wouldn't be surprised if it is fake, unless we have some part later this season that shows a vision of the future.

Besides, it'd be weird and awkward and look kind of weird if she ends up like that by season 5.

I know, but the whole reason I'm skeptical is because it would feel and look really, really weird if she was like that throughout the entirety of season 5, while the rest of her friends are normal size and shape.

Though... the way that she has grown so far does point to it...
Fingers crossed that it's just going to be a vision of the future.

Objection! maybe it's not the growing Rarity's not happy about, maybe it's the mane! I mean, look at it...it just looks... odd.

Maybe thats the end of FiM? Twillight finishes the diary and Rarity goes like "You and your books Twillight, you will never change..." or something like that?
