Silent Shadow

Gender: Male

Race: pegasus

Personality: Goodhearted, kind, friendly, helpful, loyal.

Special Talent: He can move in the shadows (literally)

Cutiemark: A symbol that represents the shades and the darkness

Significant feature: He has a scar over his right eye (but it doesn't affect his vision) end sharp teeth.

Like: The night, his dagger, his music box song (see below), flying, low temperatures.

Hate: High-pitched sounds and high temperatures.

Fear: Fire, lose his friends.

Trivia: He never go anywhere without his dagger.

Attributes:

-Night vision: Can see in the dark, no matter how dark.

-Agility/Speed: Years spent in the forest, have led to boost this two abilitys combined with excellent reflexes.

-Balance: High balancing abilities allow him to fend off many hits with his katana.

-Hearing: He has a great ear, easily able to hear sounds and noises that no one else could hear.

-Stealth: He's very stealty, this allows him to be able to move without being noticed.

-Flight: His strong wings allows him to fly fast and for a long time and carrying a passenger decreases his resistance.

Backstory

He has always lived alone and had to get food alone, having to also fight against other animals to contend food. Although his stealth skills allow him to take what he wanted without being noticed. To this were invented numerous legends about him as the forest ghost.
Once it happened that a small filly had been lost in the forest, he found her, strangely wasn't frightened of him. He helped her to find the way out of the forest, and later he returned to the forest. The day after the filly returned to the forest to meet again with the mysterious pony. Once she managed to find him, she smiled; Silent Shadow had never seen another pony smiling at him as if she was happy to see him. She was.
Day after day, the two forged a profound friendship. She told him that he had no friends outside the forest because she was different. Sometimes she wore items from the city like candy and cakes. Shadow loved them; in fact he never eaten those before. One day she brought him a drawing she had done for him. The drawing depicted the two who were happily playing.
One day when he took her out of the forest, as he had done every day, he found those who were looking for the filly. Scared to see the "forest phantom", they attacked him. One of them was able to hurt him in the right eye and gave him a scar. From that day on he never saw the filly again. Even today, they are after him but all that they saw was a shadow in the darkness.
One night a mare with her mane blue as the night was headed into the forest accompanied by other ponies, who seemed to be his guards. The mare ordered the guards to check the surrounding area far from where she was. After a while she turned toward the tree where Shadow was hiding. She told him that there was no reason to hide from her, because it wouldn't hurt him and that she sent away the guards on purpose. She introduced herself as Princess Luna, convinced him to reveal himself and the two talked.
After that, she led him out of the forest and then went to the palace of Canterlot. Princess Luna decided to use his skills to a higher goal than just to hide himself from the other ponys. So she made him her private spy, but this is a secret, and his official title is Princess Luna guard.

The Dagger

It's an enchanted dagger whose blade is always sharp and can not be broken.
The dagger can change shape in a 4-foot long katana.

The Music box

Spoiler: show

The music box shows the same symbol in his top face that silent shadow has as Cutiemark. The melody played evokes in him a feeling of peace and draws him the warmth of a family. Inside the music box is shown an inscription: "Be happy, be yourself, follow the path where your heart takes you. Remember that Mom and Dad will love you forever, Silent Shadow."
The music box is one of the objects to which he is attached, its sound is able to calm him instantly.

Id

Id is Shadow's split personality, created when Silent Shadow tried to repress his childhood memories. He is his evil alter ego, Shadow is also unaware of the existence of this part of himself, everything that happens to him looks like it was a dream or rather a nightmare.
Physically appears as Shadow but his mane is disconnected, leaving his long black mane and red to flow freely, and his eyes shine with a red light. His body radiates a dark aura perfectly visible to anyone.
Id is an often brutal and malicious character, violently seeking to become more and more powerful, to the point of attacking his own friends.
Id is crazy, extremely strong and will never stop, unless accomplished his goal, be defeated or hear the melody of his music box. (I'm still thinking on something else to calm him)

Cutiemark: That symbol represents the light but when he was corrupted King Sombra black magic corrupted his cutiemark as well (I'm going to find a much fitting cutiemark when I found or create one).

Coat color: white

Mane and tail color: light gray

Significant feature: His right eye is light blue while the left eye is red.

Like: Balance, sweets.

Hate: Disharmony

Fear: Thundering, lose his friends.

Trivia: He MUST keep a balance between light and dark otherwise the power can consume him..

Backstory: He was the captain of the guard in the Crystal Empire, but one day when King Sombra attacked the Crystal Empire, He wasn't able to do anything, even using all of himself he lost. And Sombra magic corrupts him, infusing him with black magic. So he left his job because he felt guilty about what he wasn't able to prevent, and inadequate as a guard.

When in extreme danger or if he gets angry very much, he'll go into Equilibrium state for a very short time and he can use his strongest spell: Ender, which is giant sword infused with light and dark energy. When he returns to normal, he faints from exhaustion.[/spoiler]

Trivia: He's stronger than a normal earth pony, has a never ending appetite can eat almost anything (like Monkey D. Rufy from One Piece) also most of the time behaves childish but becomes incredibly serious when it's time for action.

Backstory

He was one of the chosen warriors of a distant village (Riverview) known for his skill in swordsmanship. But one day a black dragon with golden horns attacked his village shaving it to the ground. There were no fatalities but only wounded. All the houses were destroyed and then all the inhabitants were forced to leave and look for another place to live. So he decided to leave his village and seek the dragon and then defeat him in a duel.

The black aura envelops his katana, extending the range of attack and sharpening the blade.
Effect: Strength +50% for 3 turns

When Id asserts himself, Silent Shadow's mane eyes and skin change colour. His black mane turns crimson, his red eyes turn bright yellow, his dark fur turns blood red and his body radiates a dark aura perfectly visible to anyone.
The seeds of Id were planted because of the trauma that Silent Shadow suffered as a child at the hoofs of his mother. As a small boy, his mother was possessed by a Chaos God. Silent Shadow was taken to testing labs and hurt mentally and physically. When he dissociates, he becomes insane, destructive, and extremely powerful. Because of this, he was indirectly responsible for his mother's death, as well as the destruction his village.

I will use this character only on special occasions and with the consent of the others members with I'm roleplaying with.[/spoiler]

The Coward

Personality: Stubborn, childish.

[spoiler]The Coward is Silent Shadow's 3th split personality that refuses to accept the death of his mother and the fact that he has caused it. The Coward's shut up inside Silent Shadow's ego. The pressing facts and truths he won't face. He's afraid of them, so he desired to completely shut himself off from the outside world.

Yes, to trigger its transformation his mental stability must be weakened.
The best way to trigger it is a trauma, such as a memory that he had removed or when a friend is hurt in front of him and he can not do in to stop it.
For example, if a close friend was killed in front of him, Id would be immediately released.

There are four parts of the psyche: Anima, Shadow, Ego and Persona. Silent Shadow's four personalities correspond to these four parts, and they develop in that order. The Anima relates to a man's feminine side, his interactions with other women, and specifically with his mother: thus, the Coward. The Shadow is a person's darker side, thus, Id. The Ego is the one in control of the whole ordeal, and is where conscious reckoning takes place, thus Silent Shadow. The Persona is the mask that faces the outside world. With Silent Shadow's psyche fractured, each of these parts operate independently, and so the Persona-personality, as a mere mask, does nothing.

BACK STORY

As a born fighter, soul's gaze wandered the world in search of warriors capable of challenging for the sole purpose of increasing their pride. One day, Soul Gaze, met a spirit, who convinced him that a great warrior needs a great sword, so he drove through a sanctuary where there was a legendary sword that the spirit said that it would increase its capabilities. He had to go through numerous trials to get to the sword and when he finally took the sword, learned that the sword had enclosed the souls of his ancestors. But the spirit that helped him then turned out to be a demon, which absorbed all the souls released and left him to die. But the sword, which really existed, called Soul Gaze and spoke to him, leading him to his grave and to his origins. The sword originally belonged to a long line of warriors from which he was descended, and the sanctuary where she was the sword was the resting place of the souls of his ancestors, the same that had been absorbed by the demon. Soul Gaze decided to divest themselves of view putting a blindfold over the eyes because his eyes were just lying to him and trained for 10 years to improve his remaining senses, in order to avenge his ancestors against the demon.
The years passed and after finishing his training and have mastered his remaining senses wandered the world in search of the demon.
One day, he passed near the gates of Tartarus he receives a psychic premonition that made him aware of the presence of the demon. So he went into the Tartarus and after many battles with the evil spirits that inhabited the place, Soul Gaze reached the demon who was waiting for him.
The two fought a fierce battle that ended with Soul Gaze who defeats him piercing him with his sword in the deamon's chest. The same sword absorbs the souls of the ancestors of Soul Gaze that had been assimilated by the demon.
Soul Gaze has now taken his revenge, and let the daemon to die.
And so, now that Soul Gaze accomplished his revenge, wanders through the world playing his flute wherever the wind takes him or wherever there is a need for justice.

I think you could do a better job with the naming. I see the name "Silent Shadow" and I already know about 90% of who he is based on generalizations in my head before even reading his biography. Unless his parents wanted him to be an assassin, or he changed his name, I find most of these names unlikely. You also use a few "human" names, which generally isn't good for a pony.

Also, a few of them use a Sword of some sort. You do a better job of explaining the swords, but not well enough for me to buy the fact that ponies in Equestria would wield swords with the intent of bringing harm to others. The theme is "Friendship is Magic" after all.

The name, Silent Shadow, was given by his parents because his ancestor was his name, so they decided to call him like that.
For human names, I decided to use them because why not? In the show, Trixie is a human name, but they used it anyway. In Latin, Trixie means bringer of joy, Maxwell comes from Magnus meaning great, and finally Faust means lucky.
As for the swords, I'm a bit of a fanatic of swords, Soul Gaze's Sento has already explained, for the Katana / Dagger of Silent Shadow was donated by his father when he was younger as it was the weapon used by his ancestor from whom he is named. For Maxwell's sword I have not decided yet and I'll add a story when I will have something in mind.
Then, they all carry a sword, but none of them is evil, except that Id as I wrote under his description I will use him only after under certain conditions and after I have had the permission of the members with whom I'm playing with.

I thought Trixie was derived from the word "Trick", supported by the fact that her magic are normally just illusions.
I do not know any pony named Maxwell.
Faust is not a pony.

I'm not going to defend my belief on ponies not wielding swords, since it's just my own opinion. But... I can't really see any of your characters existing in Equestria the way it is right now.

Well, I've seen ponies named Clyde, Vincent, Sue, Magnum, Magdalena, Lloyd, Walter, and so on, some of them are from the show others are OCs I saw here or on the internet, so if they can, I can too.
The fact that Faust shares the name with Lauren Faust is a coincidence, I have always used this name for most of my mages since I was young, I began to consider it a sort of good luck charm.
Lastly, in the show, the royal guards use lances, then I see no reason why they can not use swords. But, of course, you are perfectly free to have your opinions.

Personality: when he was alive he was a loner and rude, but when he died he learned that he should be more open with others and make friends. Now he's more friendly and likes to make pranks.

Positive traits: hard worker, takes things seriously.

Cutiemark: A marionette controlled from above by white strings.

Special talent: build marionettes and control them.

Likes: puppets, flowers, trees.

Dislikes: termites and other bugs.

Occupation: puppeteer

Skills: Since it is a ghost he can possess any inanimate body and control it, including its puppets. Possibly can enter
in the body of another pony and control it, but only for a short period.

Hobbies: build puppets and floating around.

Negative traits/limitations: when he works at a marionette tends to close in his own world.

Positive traits: this puppet is made with a special material that make him exactly as a living alicorn, when Silver possess him he's capable do eat and do anything else the a living pony would normally do. Gold is basically an empty shell.

Cutiemark: A marionette controlled from above by gold strings.

Special talent: build marionettes and control them.

Likes: puppets, flowers, trees.

Dislikes: termites and other bugs, water, fire.

Occupation: puppeteer

Skills: He can control marionettes with his magic and create them from wood and other materials. He can also control other beings in the same way he controls the marionettes.

Hobbies: build puppets.

Negative traits/limitations: since it's a puppet he can't swim and can't fly as fast any other Pegasus.
