Heh, I bet Nightstar would like to meet another user of the same type of magic. But then again, she likes magic in general so she would like to meet anyone who can share her obsession or research. She is an earth pony and casts magic through incantations. And well, yes she is very young.

Some details: She started studying magic at a very young age and became extremely obsessed, pursuing the subject more and more. The reason for her obsession was that her research was all she had due to her status as an orphan and her lack of any friends or family. She is also lacking in social skills; this stems from the fact that she always had to worry about herself instead of taking the time to socialize with others, and thus is not used to having friendly relationships. (A brief explanation as to how she is teaching at this age. XD)

Ah, so update for my class concerning the dragon's size is necessary:
Kyslu is still as tall as Celestia when lying down. I imagine him to be close to the length of an Ursa Minor currently, but I'm have to check how proportions work out. So he's just smaller than previously thought. Nothing is completely certain yet.

About the image, only the left and top images apply. The bottom right was just me drawing him as a hatchling. ^^
(And the image is supposed to be oriented landscape. So what I mean by bottom right actually appears as bottom left...)
Furthermore, he does have toes, but... I can't draw them...

Anyway, have the fandom or authors determined a system of measuring in Equestria? (I'm behind on episodes and MLP news.) If so what is it? And if not, how tall do you/the fandom/authors think a pony is?

distance: foot ("I spy an eight-foot candy cane!"), presumably yard and mile also, for everyday use.  Perhaps the metric system for scientific use.

time: second, hour, day, week, month, year.

mass: personally would go with metric system.

Have any ideas on how tall the average pony is?
In real life, ponies are equines that are 4'8" or less when mature. But I have no clue on how that's supposed to translate into MLP. I would set the average height at 4'4", but I don't want to impose anything on anyone at the same time. I just want a standard to compare other things to. ^^'

Argh! Sorry, my life became very hectic over the last while. I apologize for any and all problems this may or may not have caused. I will be able to be here actively from now however. You can still continue the game because I know it doesn't require a large amount of GM interaction other than your new teacher system so why not continue onwards from a lunch break or something to keep the ball rolling until you decided on the next lesson

Well thats a new system from when I last played then but as far as I read into it the current teacher was finished so your call im not here to interfere, just here to stop a good game from disapearing is all

Ryo brings up a good point.  Between classes, there's often a half hour or more for students to interact or study.  A lot can happen in half an hour.
