Wow, thanks for all of the welcome energy guys!  ovO
I'd like to be a guide if that's okay. I'm always looking up with stuff's at whenever I play a new game and I often find myself memorizing the terrain.

Plumeria, out of curiosity, what does your user text say? It's immune to Google Translate.

That's pretty cool.  ^-^ (edit: the user text I mean)

Haha, thank ya. I'm pretty much obsessed with Hawaii, so you'll get a lot of Hawaiian stuff out of me.
My three OCs have to do with a flower native to the islands, longboarding, and rainforests...so you could say that I'm a Hawaii-maniac.

Julius

That's sweet!

I'm a fan of the beach, water and a tropical weather, so I've always been interested in going to Hawaii! :3

I've gone every year since I was little so it's almost like a second home to me
I probably know the Big Island better than I know my own neighborhood.
My dream is to live there someday. On mauna kea, as you're going up, you start to ascend into the clouds (it just looks like mist while you're up there) and I want to be able to say I live in the clouds
Evergreens grow up there, and it's only like an hour drive to the beach, so it's definitely my dream location.
I live in OK now so it's the EXACT opposite. I can't wait to get out of this (excuse my french) redneck hellhole.
Also, if you go there Julius, there are some pretty decent hotels for cheap. They don't have heat or AC but you don't need it. Get a decent rental car and you're set. You won't want to do anything but sleep at you hotel anyway.
The farmers markets are open every day, and they sell fruits and vegetables. I once saw a squash as big as my leg. It's totally easy to thrive there on a tight budget if you know what you're doing.
Waipio Valley, Mauna Kea Observatories, and rainforest treks are so much fun, and you do it all for free (as long as you have 4wheel drive)
Waipio Valley's road descends at like a 20% angle or some crap. It's scary as hell but it's worth it once you see the wild horses and the blacksand beach at the bottem. Just beware of locals...omg they can be meanies xD

And just in case i get holiday  at the right time, Enter the anual amature drift competision in my favorite country, Norway  ^-^

oh i also guess i forgot to welcome you to the herd, guess that happens when one works to mutch eh  X3

So Welcome to the Herd, And may your travels be blessed with joy.
Hug a bear, sometimes all they need is a little care.

Plumeria Paradise

Thanks!
You can ski on mauna kea in the winter.
That's the thing...Hawaii has some 12 climate zones throughout the year. There's still snowdrifts up there in the summer.

The Wandering Magus

I hope you don't mind me adjusting the sig, Travis x3

colinkochevar

OC Name: Taliesin
Forum Name: colinkochevar
Activity: Well, I'm on the forum quite a bit, and I post at least a little everyday. I'll play the game a lot when it's out. (And I suppose whenever they release a test too!)
Planned race: Pegasus
Reason to join: I always spend a long time travelling in games. I've always dreamed of flying in real life, and I've always loved games that allow it. Since I'll be a pegasus I imagine I'll fly from place to place a lot. Being a sort of guide or friend for an area or for passersby sounds good. I also like the idea of being in a big herd with lots of other ponies, and this seems like a pretty big one. :D
How can party rock be in the house tonight, if everybody's outside?
