only difference is the number of players and type of players, not much initially different.  and human burglars are all right, I think.

This... This isn't standard for MMORPG's right? I mean, I know I don't play a lot of them but... SIXTEEN POINT FIVE GB's?!

And that's just the installer.

Highest I've downloaded was around 5 GB's at most.

Edit 3: Decided to go ahead and create the account. Julius was taken, and it's most likely taken in game too. If it's not available, I'll be DoesItWorksJay. 1.0 GB Done.

Last Edit: 9.5 GB's. Falling asleep due to boredom (And totally not because it's 5:52 A.M.), don't want to leave untill it's finished for fear of the download stopping if the laptop goes to sleep.

Good thing this laptop has almost a Tera Bite of memory. That file I was downloading was compressed. The real thing is 22 GB's.

I should be playing in a few minutes, unless the game decides to update for whatever reason.

It was too empty, even after completing the introduction. In fact, no one else spoke in the entire time it took me to complete that. I got bored. I deleted it.

The Champion was nice but that's about it for me.

Hey hey don't just quit like that :(
There are many many many people playing Gladden (and let's not even talk about the whole game!).
It's normal for places to be empty in the introduction and directly once you finish it. When you go to Bree or other places (Snowbourn the current end game 'town' has 40-50 people a day) you will probably find them bustling with players. Even when I first started the game I thought "why isn't anyone talking to me?" - then as I played on I met lots of people. So dun give up!

that's a shame.  The game doesn't usually pick up until around level 20, when you get a mount, one-hit-kill moves, no-sell moves and other such awesomery.  And you usually can get into a kinship by level 10.  You essentially quit one hour away from all that   your choice, though.  I should have show you my lvl 50 loremaster, I think you'd like the eagle and "light from the sky" move.
