Before I upgraded (about two months ago, good birthday present ) I had a really noisy Pentium 4, but I could run games that demanded a Core 2 Duo or higher with it. Average framerate would be around 14, but hey at least I could run them.

According to Tekner, you only need about 1,5 Gigas of RAM and about 300 Megas for the game.

Also, the game will have various quality options for those... Not so powerfull computers.

I wouldn't be too worried.

My computer is too strong for this game...and its only a laptop.

sadly there are even better computers on the market still... seriously, I'm surprised there are gamers with such old computers...well not that surprised.  What really surprises me is how low the requirements for the game will be.  Do you think there will be higher settings as well?

I'm not an expert, but I'd guess that higher settings = more complex graphics = much more work for the team.

Trixster: I guess the bright side is that upgrading/getting a superior computer won't cost that much; you could probably get something capable of playing LoE very well for <$500.

with all exspences paid... i got 20$ to spare for each month...
so i am saving up... but it's gonna take a while
