I have not played in awhile. However, this is because I had no one to play with (I dislike pub teams, 3 or more randoms). A pity too, I loved the game.
If you want to start up a team/clan I would be happy to re-download and get all my account info back. I enjoy playing as Sona very much. I also saw a few others on IRC who play. Might ask in there sometime too?
Just as a disclaimer, I am probably rusty. But nothing like trial by fire to re-learn the ropes, eh?
If nothing else, I would recommend trying it. It is a fun game, excluding the people who are prone to whining.

im playing on eu west servers.
i usualy jungle during my games or go mid, becuase im not suited for top or bot lane:P

Hercaim is a decent champion. but hes early game is way too strong consider his fast movment speed and good ganks (if jungling). his first gank is like 90% certian if you have ghost and smite. pop ghost -> E and you get like 600 movment speed. his burst is extremly high in early game but his late game is a bit, well bad. never seen him in late game tho.
so he needs a change imo :)

I do however like to play with Master Yi and trying to find the right build to jungle and then own everything

hmmm i cant see the reason to nerf yi tbh, he is nothing like OP, when hes AP he has a GREAT burst yes. but its only one time use. and hes mashing everyone as AD hes fed and your team has feeded him and there is a flaw. yi is actully a good champion but he aint something that needs nerf. and when yi pops hes E and ulti your team should stun him etc.

It's not a bad idea in the end to have a "smurf" account on a different server anyway.
I'm not sure about the differences between EU-West and EU-East but the differences I find in 'metagames' between EU-West (my home server) and North America has been significantly different in the past and it isn't a bad idea to play on a different server once in a while and see these differences between servers yourself once you have got the hang of the game.
It'll make you a better player in the end as you would be more prepared and less likely to be surprised at what the opposing team could throw at you, perhaps even pick up some new tricks yourself on the way.

when i play i always go jungling, which champ? depends, my main is : shyvana, skarner, udyr and gangplank. and sometimes i play with other junglers :P

haha in my mind that wasnt even an argument, more like a random exchange for lulz.
but i have jungler as my main focus becuase im going to play with a ranked team, so we decide to focus on each our role. like me a jungler. and i got 4 champs in case some gets banned or we need to change strategy :)

By forcing them to play the blame game on "Why is nobody defending the turrets?". Plus, you're fast enough to outrun pretty much any champion, so they'll need more than one to go after you, a single champion, while the rest of your team feeds off the remainder.
It's a win-win situation. Your team gets fed, you eat a few turrets yourself, and the enemy becomes full of rage.

We would go down the middle to the nexus which was wide open, and by the time we got down there, it was always me and another annoyed player and we would get destroyed since every other team mate would separate to get solo kills and baron.
We ended up actually losing

I haven't played LoL in awhile. Probably cause of the low sportsmanship in there. Don't get me wrong, I really do enjoy the game. But the community in there is...well...unsatisfying.

Sort of like Call of Duty nowadays. Call of Duty is at its funnest when you're playing a private match with a bunch of friends. but when you play a public match, you're risking hearing yelling from a bunch of guys who barley pass through their school years.

tanking? heh, there is one of my main junglers, UDYR! :D hes almost immortal and his ganks are almost flawless. he can take soooo much damage and he deals decent amout. his cc is actully pretty good even though its a short stun.

Okay, weirdest match yet, we had an Akiri who decided to try and grief the rest of my team. She fed the other team, ran into their base using her invisible move, and bought 6 doran shields. Even with that happening, my team was still able to win 11-58 o_O , the 11 was our kills.

Darius is borderline OP, you're going to need an experienced top laner to crush him and prevent late-game domination. The jungler should gank as much as possible seeing as Darius doesn't have any escape abilities other than a summoner spell . Get 2 kills on him, you'll be fine. Until then, wait for the nerf >_<

oooh that sounds horrible. and if nasus were able to one shot everyone. then your team did something wrong. nasus were able to farm up his Q which is NOT good and it sounds like your "tank" only stacked HP which is not good either ovO and against over fed nasus CC is your best friend. keep him locked while you take our their AD/AP carry. that would be the best. and thornmail. thornmail is your best friend against over fed top lane /AD carry. dosent matter what you play. get thornmail.

dont bvelive it. if you played high in ranked games. the wards are game chainging and strategy is REALY importent, specialy the cordination. thats really importent. persay, all your teamates spam their CC then they will be CC'd for like 3 sec, max or something. but if you one uses it they are stunned for 2 sec. nice then another one stun or whatever another 2 sec. then another one. that might be game chainging. and your team set up is really importent aswell.

At the moment, Soraka claims top support's place. Sometimes it drives me mad that I can't freely play my Soraka since unskilled players realized that she's essential as a support in late stage of the game and she's sometimes banned.

At the moment, Soraka claims top support's place. Sometimes it drives me mad that I can't freely play my Soraka since unskilled players realized that she's essential as a support in late stage of the game and she's sometimes banned.
i have _never_ seen soraka banned. more like usual banns like morgana, kassadin, rammus, lee sin and shaco. last one always depends. but i dont quiet like soraka much becuase of she got heals? thats very nice idd. but thats pretty much. a good end game support has CC. CC turns the a whole team fight. its importent. thats why i like lux and alistar :P
one of my favorite junglers is skarner, mostly becuase of his ultimate. if i see their ad carry in front. i flash in and grab the ad carry and drag the ad carry to my team. almost all of the team fights that starts like that is a win for our team. but soarka is a good support idd. but i my personal opinion likes other better :P

Soraka is banned on 1900+ more often than on lower elo. Just saying from my own experience. She's banned every.... 3 games more or less. And what makes Soraka one of the top support is her silence's durability + 2 high class heals.
In addition, a team that uses brain will never let do something like that with Skarner. As I play now, it never happens. Usually, it ends with Skar's fail.

BTW. You forgot about her extreme armor boost that comes with Astral Blessing.

This discussion is about comparing semi-initator(Sona) to true support(Soraka).
The only thing that makes Sona more... "special" than Soraka is her ult. She's doing a great job with her cc which is able to initiate and can surely win a teamfight.
On the other hand, if Sona fails, that leaves her with about... ~6 skills in teamfight with decent usefulness, while Soraka shoots in the air loads of assistance with her Astral's Blessing bonuses, silence and mass heal. Not to mention Starcall.

the starcal aint that great on damage. but i love the armor reducing on it so thats a huge + since it can stack up to 5 times nad reduces with 60 armor total, love it :3
105 armor pluss heal is really awesome aswell. but the only bad thing about the 105 armor it is only on one champion.

ive been playing lvl 30 games since lvl 10 (all my friends lvl 30) so yeah... HARSH learning curve for me. Im ok as a ganking mid malz. an ok jungling rammus. an anoying as hell morde. im learning: Rumble, kennen, Olaf, heracrim and now ezeral (pulsefire!)
used to main veigar but... malz is just that much better!

Although I do think Malz is somewhat underrated, there are FAR more situations in favour of Veigar in that matchup, also Veigar is much more useful when it comes to team fights.
You're forgetting Veigar's ult scales not only off his own AP but also his opponents, so while you're building damage Veigar could build a QSS, cut off your ult and ignite and then slam you with his ult because you built damage.
Flash out of the stun? A good Veigar will make sure you are on the edge of it when they put it down, you won't be flashing out of nothing then and you'll be blown up with his combo before you can do anything at all.

veigiar is scary late game. and yes I OWN veigar so no i dident forget. I PLAY veigar! we can argue this point all day and yes veigar is better in a team fight then malzahar. i wont argue those points but me personaly i think malzahar is better.

stil malzahar is VERY good at killing single targets while veigar has a bit more utility and can take down AP heavy guys eaisly (non ap... well veigar can be pretty screwed if its any sort of tank) thats why i like malzahar. he is good all around. not excelent a tsay bursting donw certiant people
off the huge subject that might start flameing. Played Hecraim... got my flank handed to me... my movment speed i ALWAYS got hit by garet ulti (it felt like at the end of the game he was saveing it for me) and ashe arrow... but still good movement speed. if jungle if unintrupted makes him strong fast. still need a game where i don't have a completly useless team... our tank was sent mid... hate smurf accounts.

That's actually not the best idea. It depends who you group with.
The game ranks you by a hidden value everyone calls ELO. Every new player starts at 1200. As you win, it increases. As you lose, it decreases. How much it moves depends on your opponent. This gets a little more complicated when you group up with people. Let's say your group consists of 3 really good players (1700+ ELO) and two really bad players (900 ELO). The matchmaking system averages it up and you're going to end up fighting a team consisting of players in, say, 1600 ELO.
Long story short: Grouping up early on is risky.
Unless you do it in Custom Games or Co-Op vs. AI. Then, by all means, go ahead.

Nothing angers me more when a team mate who decides to go troll feed halfway through a match. The last one was with a Teemo who soloed bot, when I went to say that he shouldn't be bot, he spoke japanese, said "no speak english," and kept running into towers and the enemy for the rest of the match.

We've got an AP Gragas stacking Kages.
A Tryndamere stacking Attack Speed (Read: No damage).

I finally braved a ranked match and my team was doing great until they started pulling strategies and quadra killing skill shots. I think I might just stick with normal games lol
