I absolutely LOVED the music when fighting Team Flare grunts.

you can find and reveal 1-3 pokemon in that Friend Safari

Correction: You can find 2 Pokémon per Friend Safari, 3 if they've beaten the Elite Four + Champion. Also, if you're both on, it raises the chance at finding them with Hidden Abilities.

QuoteI wish GB sounds were back though. I like to hear the music of this game in GB sounds mode or either way in 8-bit mode.

The Music I like best in this game was Route 7 and 8, Lumiose City, The Wild Pokemon and Vs. Trainer Battle Music, Aquacorde Town, and Battle Chateau which is similiar to the Battle Frontier music in HG/SS.

I wish there was a way we can listen to the original cries of many of the Pokémon... Anyway, my favorite music definitely has to be the Champion one. (I'd say Unwavering Emotions, but that was technically brought back from Gen V, so...)

I still have no idea what EV training is. :P Or what the other one, IV I think, is.

Spoiler: show
I didn't really care about both at first. Now it's pretty much become a regular thing for me.

- EV's, or Effort Values, are points you get from defeating Pokémon (the ones you get, though, vary by Pokémon), using the vitamin drinks (Protein, Iron, etc.) and Wings (Health Wing, Clever Wing, etc.), and now from Super Training. (If you played Pokémon Black 2/White 2, there was also a Dojo where you could EV train your Pokémon... for a price.) Every 4 EV's in a stat = 1 actual point added to that stat. These aren't noticeable right away due to how they're "spread out" across levels, but trust me, it's worth it. You can also lower EV's using certain berries or the new Reset punching bag from Super Training in case you mess up somewhere.

A Pokémon can only have up to 510 EV's total, and they can only have up to 255 EV's in one stat. But since 4 EV's = 1 stat point, raising it up to 255 is pointless, so instead it's best to stop at 252. An example of this would be: 252 EV's in both Attack and Special Attack, then the last 6 go to HP. Even though the last two points won't do anything more for the HP stat, what other way would you spend them on?

By the way, using the vitamin drinks will only raise a particular EV to 100, so you can only use up to 10 of them for one stat.

- IV's, or Individual Values, are basically bonus stats a Pokémon is "born with". They add on to their current stats, and they can't be changed unless you breed; rather, the baby will receive IV's (depending on certain conditions).

If this still confused you, I'm really sorry; I'm actually kinda bad at explaining stuff x.x

No matter how many times people try to explain it to me, I still don't understand it, and I don't know what questions to ask to finally understand. X3 It's a bit frustrating, so I just don't bother with even attempting EV. When I play a Pokemon game, I just pretend EV doesn't exist.

I got a second event torchic through wonder trade  :3 sadly, I didn't need it so I traded it again and got a stupid furfrou with like the worst stats I've seen so far for a furfrou.

Also, Pyroar is such a monster when EV trained like mine. :3 LV40 and taking down LV55/60 in 1 hit.

Do all Furfrous have bad stats? o.O I was thinking of catching one when I get the game.

I still have no idea what EV training is. :P Or what the other one, IV I think, is.
no no, furfrou is really powerful and can take lots of hit phisicaly with its ability and its generally good spdef. The one I got just had a negative def nature for a special attack bonus and had like the worst IV so it would like have the worst possible stat for a furfrou. That part only helped cause I needed a surfing pokemon and he could learn it.

I'm such a Pokemon noob, since I've never ever really looked into a lot of this stuff, so um... I'm not sure how to tell what a pokemon's IV is.
I've never even bred pokemon.

I do know about STAB. I know about how the natures affect pokemons' stats, and I often have to look up the natures.
There are so many types and type weaknesses, resistances, super effectives, and not effectives that I can't memorize all of it, so I just bring up a page that lists them.

Sometimes I feel like I'm awful at Pokemon, to be honest. :I That's why I don't battle other people.

"(Ticktock, time is running out) What are you doing now?
I don't know where you are, don't even know your name.
They think I'm crazy, my heartbeat goes up..."

Why did Nintendo decide to not allow you to take off hats but the rival doesn't have even to wear one his/herself? (that's why I didn't want to wear one in the first place)

Even after telling you all that stuff, I still don't play competitively either.

Spoiler: That being said, I can't fully ignore EV training • show
There's a new item in a post-city area that allows you to switch your Pokémon's Abilities, if they have more than one (you can't switch to a Hidden Ability, though). You need BP (Battle Points) to be able to buy it, however.

I don't mind wearing a hat. In fact, my current outfit would look kinda odd without one X3

I've seen quite a few people with no hats on the passerby, but I don't know how they did it.

I'm willing to trade a Amaura for a Female Tyrunt, but I haven't started breeding my aurorus yet so I'll let you guys know when I breeded my Aurorus with another Ice-type pokemon in a suitable egg group.

Are you talking about the ones that look like your player's friends or the ones that look like Gym Leaders? If so, you can pick them from the PSS Profile section. Tap on Public Icon and you can find them there.

I chose the Jaw Fossil, so maybe we can work something out from there? X3 (I say that because... I have no idea what an Amaura is x.x)

KirbyFluttershy

Something like that, but I just found those players out in the passerby section on the PSS.

If it's the only fossil pokemon you got, you should breed it till you get female because I'm looking for Female Tyrunt. I haven't Breeded my Aurorus yet and Yeah, Amaura is a pre-evolved form of Aurorus. I'll try to work it out with a breeding and see what I can come up with. TMs & HMs, and Moves by level (if they can learn it) are automatic egg moves so I have to discover the egg moves myself and see What I can come up with

:P As long as I get my beloved Eevee, nothing else seems as important.

I also really enjoy the little things about the game that are an improvement over past generations. I'm speaking about actually picking up an item off the ground and bending over to make eye contact when speaking with little children and smaller Pokémon. I thought that was adorable.

The only thing that worries me are these so-called Mega Evolutions...

It's best to have a Female Eevee in case if you need to get some egg moves on it. You'll find eevee at route 10, north of cyllage city.

3. I was hoping we could pick between Red and Blue, but oh well.
4. MUUUUUUUUUCH better than the past games' systems, that's for sure!

But yeah, I don't care what anyone says, but in my opinion, Mega Evolutions are AWESOME!.

I'm addicted to creating new outfits.  My goal is to buy every single piece of clothing in the game; ironically enough though I generally only wear my main outfit.  My main outfit is rather simple, and I have been wearing it since near the time of the third, or fourth badge.  Now, If only I knew how to take screenshots.  :P

a lot of people are getting shiny pokemon, but that doesn't bother me. All I can say about these shinies is that they do nothing, but showing off.
