"Finding him would be the hard part. I think we might should get a cup of coffee or something and ask around town, do a little research on legends and myths. As I said though, we would be better off if we were to prepare before confronting him.

Still though, I know you got the short end of the stick,  no, ah, no pun intended, so we can do whatever you want to do first." Joy felt slightly bad about the remark, but not majorly. He got out of his chair, standing up and stretching his legs.

Rush sighed as he came to a decision.

[Color=gray]"You should get some sleep as well. It's getting late."[/color] He said, turning around and going out the door. His horn lit up and he teleported outside, then he made his way back to Everfree for the night.

Blue nodded and slipped under her covers, yawning and falling asleep fast. She slept the whole night and part of the day away, having weird series of dreams about the most bizarre stuff. When she finally woke up it was mid day, she sat up and stretched and looked around. She either didn't see or didn't notice anyone around her. Groggily she got out of bed and walked to the bathroom, only to realize that she had destroyed it the day before, with a sigh she walked to the kitchen to wash up, slowly growing worried that the house was silent and that she has yet to see anypony around.

"if you think so i guess we could go see people in the town only the fact that no pony is going to listen to me"

[Checkmate]

The front door to the house slowly creaked open, with a figure walking inside and looking around.  Is anyone here?

[Grizzly]

Blue's ears twitched as she heard the door open, she walked in the doorway from the kitchen and tilted her head.

[Checkmate]

Looking around was a figure Blue hadn't seen in some time, since he'd been sent away on a mission.  Checkmate saw her and hugged Blue close, smiling softly.  Hey sweetie...

[Grizzly]

The little blue filly gasped and cuddled a lot once hugged. Sobbing from happiness she couldn't even talk.

[Checkmate]

Checkmate held her close, rubbing her back.  Shh...shh...it's okay, sweetie...daddy's here now, and he's not going away like that again.

[Grizzly]

Blue held her head firmly on Checkmate's chest, slowly calming down but never stopping to cuddle!

Check held her close and looked around, slowly turning lights on.  I'll clean up tomorrow, okay sweetie?  He said softly, sitting down in his chair and holding the small filly against his chest.

[Grizzly]

Having only the filly in the house for who knows how long only meant that it was not in a good shape. Blue's toys were pretty much everywhere, there was a pillow fort in the middle of the living room, and countless muddy tiny hoofsteps everywhere. The little filly blushed and nodded, she'll probably be helping with the cleanup.

[Checkmate]

Check nuzzled Blue softly while chuckling.  I can only imagine the stories you have to tell me...once we're all clean tomorrow, I can give you something I got while I was away.

The little blue filly blushed a bit and nodded, rubbing her cheek into Checkmate's chest as she did so, giggling cutely. Suddenly the cute moment was interrupted by a muffled growling coming from someone's tummy.

"how about we go look for blue agian because  we'll I just want to talk to her" maple sighed

[Checkmate]

Check chuckled and stood up, placing Blue on his back.  Let's get you some food.  He said, walking out of the house with her; he guessed the kitchen was almost empty.  Instead, he brought her to Sugarcube Corner and bought her some pastries from there; he'd get better food when he could.

Blue was wrapped in a scarf and a big hat curled up on Checky's back all the way to the famous pantry. Once there her eyes, of course, wanted the sweetest and biggest things, even if her tummy probably couldn't digest half of one of them.

Check kept her extra warm with his robes, tucking them over her.  He bought her the pastries, although he made sure some of them at least had fruit or similar healthy ingredients.  After the purchase, he sat down with her and smiled, giving her some fruity pastries.

Blue smiled widely and ate her sweet breakfastolunchodinner swiftly. As per course for her, she left most of the stuff Checkmate bought her half eaten, with only a few bites even in some cases.

Check didn't mind at all; he was just glad to see her happy again.  He kept nuzzling her and smiling as she ate.  I'm so sorry, sweetie...
