Got Fallout: New Vegas - Gonna surf for mods now to exploit this baby like none other (besides Skyrim itself...)

Got myself the Amnesia games pack. I've been interested in the 1st game for a while - maybe ponify it, but I'm not sure. 2nd game is just the added interest, so don't mind if it isn't too good or such.

Got my scope on these sales, and will let you know of anything else.

While working at the supermarket on the kiosk, I served a woman who brought her little boy along to shop with. This kid was wearing a t-shirt, shorts, sneakers and wore a baseball cap - and really big sunglasses for his head. But he stood there, cross-armed and at one moment, popped his glasses onto his nose while holding the edge and looked at me.

That lad haz so much swag, I just had to come out and say it! He just had the cheekiest and most proud face I've seen in a long time. Props to him! (He only looked 5/6 years old!)  lol

Canterlot Archives / PEPSK - (Drop-in)
2014 Jun 14, 18:52:55
Welcome to the "Apollo Straight" - A classy and mellow place for all the experts and celebs to enjoy some freshly squeezed fruits and mingle with others with over-achieving accolades. All sorts of outstanding individuals come here to unwind and chat to others who do well in their chosen field, or their marvels. Entertainers, athletes, scholars, inventors and bench-markers. Raising record money for charities, pushing society into a new age, and shocking Equestrians are just some of the things these individuals and groups have done in the motivation of excellence. For selfish or wholehearted reasons - The ones who flock here are known as PEPSK.

PEPSK - "Ponies.Every.Pony.Should.Know. (Sometimes "Ponies" is replaced with "Pros" or "Pronies" due to racial inclusion or for slang/boasting.)

If you are in the news and keep on proving your greatness, you are part of this group. If you are an individual with a rare talent to "wow," you are here with the others. Get to know your fellow creatures and share your experiences!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is a Free-to-roam RP, so you can drop-in and drop-out with each visit and chat to all types. Please keep it within the forum and RP rules, but enjoy just hanging out with other OCs. Keep it civil, but fun!

The catch is I will throw in "World Events" that may effect the PEPSK group, or at least give the characters something to talk about - Upcoming shows, scandals and national reports. I may start up an OOC thread to post if popular enough, but the "World Events" are open to suggestions if you let me know first.
For now, let your OC walk the red carpet and into the clubhouse to introduce themselves and grab a beverage/meal. Nuts, berries and rich Raspberry juice is always available, or order something from the bar!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As the doors swing open and bright lights welcomes the entrees, another day starts for the "Apollo Straights" and Taking the keys out of the door is Act One. He has seen ponies and other species come-and-go in this establishment, but wonders who else is going to visit? Will Filthy Rich flaunt his case of money? Will Fancy Pants and Fleur Dis Lee bring a new flower to bloom in the club's radiance?
As his mind starts to build on these possible developments, Act heads back to the main room and orders a "Chateu Un" Blueberry juice in a small glass to sip on. Reading to newspaper that the attendant usually picks up for the guests to read, he notices that Cloudsdale will host the next major athletics games in 15 months and how air-travel (Balloons and sky-carriages) have had a 5% increase in price.

"Looks like they're anticipating a big haul from the event in Cloudsdale I'm guessing. Typical state affairs..."
He pops the paper back onto the table and just takes a drink from the glass.

((I was actually wondering if this was dying out myself... it seems only 3/4 of us stick to it at best, and a few one-off show ups just throw it completely off course at times... I'd still keep it up, If I knew people were posting still))

It's a late one, but yesterday, I was bored out of my skull on break from work. Listening to the local radio in my car to chill, but I got sick of the usual channels.

I never knew how much I enjoyed listening to classical music when it's raining.  X3 It just seemed natural to me. Must be Ink Potts' pony musicals that help the influence on youtube...

"Doob-doob-doob-doob. Dooby-dooby-doo.
A fish of an eye, and a a tail from a croc. Doob-doob-doob-doob. Dooby-dooby-doo.
Bat's ears to hear and a neck from the loch. Dooby-doo, dooby-doo. Dooby-dooby-dooby-doo.#

The sound of this cheerful tune echos down the corridor. Amongst the drips of moisture and the dim lighting, it seemed to be the only real source of joy in the underground maze.
*Hiccup!*
A small mouth and nose warps with a quick blast of light to something larger.

"A lower-lip pout from this huge bull's snout. Doob-doob-doob-doob. Dooby-dooby-doo."
A deeper tone in the song changed the tune in a more comical fashion, however...
"Urgh... A moment of a deflated voice crept out to release the disappointment and exhaustion. It was nothing that can be done, so the mood was changed back to before.
"And scaly hide to help me slip about. Dooby-doo, dooby-doo. Dooby-dooby-dooby-doo.
A couple of stumpy legs to bare, but to the lean body build, it does not bold fair.
I feel tired for all reasons, but my heart beats through the seasons, and I have enthusiasm be-ee-ee-yond compare!#

At the end of that verse, the creature rushed to the end of the corridor to greet the throne room with a bellowing finale - claws of a bird spread like arms at the shoulders. Not expecting an audience, his gaze actually was looking up at the skulls displayed above him as he walked through the doorway.
"Oh me, look at that..."
*Hiccup!*
The miss-matched creature changed into something else completely, as the whole body turned a deep purple with scales, four legs and a tail, and many reptilian heads facing upwards.
"Hail, Hydra!"

1. Character Gender & Race - ?, Changeling.
2. Character Personality & Statistics/Status - Usually boastful and confident/arrogant. This is a forefront to hide an insecurity, especially when topics hit close-to-home. Intelligence is the best/constant quality, as strength can vary from form-to-form.
3. Character Talent - Shape-shifting. As a whole or selected areas/limbs.
4. Character Appearance - Unknown: it's guess would have been of a typical stallion changeling. Switches into other forms are regular.
5. Character Name - Warpcore
6. Character Bio

Even before life had fully opened the doors to the creature, Warpcore was fated with an unstructured beginning. There was a rare misalignment in the DNA code of this shape-shifter when compared to typical changelings. The result of this mutation would be the loss or difficulty of maintaining a form of any kind. Even from birth, none of the hive knew the babe's true form was, as it had already transformed into a batch of different limbs. The changes would later be known that they were somewhat reduced when the animal was well fed.

As life passed by, the creature was mainly left alone by the hive. This evidently did not concern the individual, and it continued on it's business for the collective. In fact, it gave the changeling that freedom to do things in its own way and build his self-confidence. Warpcore decided that it would address itself as a "he" as it was a more masculine form that was described by the changelings that first laid eyes on and nurtured "him." There were others in the Hive that would teach him how to control his shape-shifting and he would test it further than most, including altering a single limb, half a body or even turning into objects. However, his body still had its moments of instability, and it could hinder or improve a situation equally, especially when low on energy.

After Quill's suggestion, Pressure swings her head to the pony and gives a quick nod.
"Okay, but be careful. Give us a shout on what's happening if and when you've tried to talk to them. Any problems, just scream back and fly to us."

Her attention goes back to the mass of the group.
"Okay, while that's happening, lets start picking groups to work with. I'll go with Starlight."
50
After a quick tingle from the magic cast on her, the cautious quadruped leaned and twisted her body over the basket rim, hanging off the outside edge. Pressure tested the spell on the cloud and her hoof was comfortably squishing the top of the surface. Confidence renewed, she pressed away from the vehicle and gave a nod of gratitude to Rush. The charcoal mare then looked back towards the spectacle of the city.

"Well, I certainly don't feel as grim for our future as I was before... This place looks like it's been untouched by the odd events of the world..."
Although the sight of colour was still a refreshing change to the days of grim greys and insecurity, she would of liked something more usual to be present too. Pressure calls out to the rest of the group.
"Okay ponies, if everyone's sorted for now, I suggest we have some sort of plan. It doesn't seem like there's a lot of activity around here, but there's every chance that Cloudsdale residents are in-hiding and just want to keep safe. This place may not be as hard-hit from the current situation of missing ponies and may be the safest place in Equestria. But for now, I just want to see what we're dealing with."

Raising her hoof and pointing towards the road into the settlement, she continues to forward her thoughts.
"I think we should start looking for anypony about, maybe find some food or shelter if it permits us. Splitting into smaller groups, we stay within a block away from each other, remaining in shouting distance of each group. When we're reach to move on, each group shouts they're ready and we advance together to the next lot of houses and shops. Any objections or other ideas?"

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(Meanwhile, as everypony is distracted...)

As the Balloon stays still, the light from the sun forces a long and stretched shadow under the large inflated structure. As the vehicle stands still, there is a shimmer withing the shape of the silhouette, the edges rippling. As the ripple works it's way up the shadow on the floor, the silhouette reaches one of the waterfall's edges that blocks the sunlight. The ripple swoops from the Balloon's shadow into the shade of the river's edge, working its way along the channel towards Cloudsdale...
51
((Remember everyone - Cloudsdale isn't fully effected by the darkness below. Just one side is hit by the sun, one side by the twilight shade. Colour is still as vibrant as the light allows it to be.))

Pressure kept herself steady in the landing and picks herself up from a surprisingly soft landing. Her realization that they are landing on "a cloud" makes her give a mental face-hoof to herself. It's not like she's ever flown in a balloon before, never mind visiting a cloud city or such.

As she peers over the side of the basket, a sense of ire starts to build. The mare looks to the other ponies and with a more softer tone than usual, requests some help.
"Is it alright for some pony to cast the cloud walking spell on me? I don't actually know it, since I'm more of a ground-based unicorn..."
She thinks about using the Core Control spell at the same time, just to be sure she doesn't fall to the ground at the moment her hoof would touch cloud.

A couple of things to smile about:
1) Went out to get some lunch at supermarket, and got myself a drink. Very happy to see a Lemon Ice Relentless can on shelf and it was just what was needed in the baking sun.
2) The above reminded me that I didn't need much to make me happy. :D

It's the start of MY weekend.  :3
Seriously, I feel to tired to do anything productive now from a manic "normal" weekend of work - too many BBQs and so hot! But now - 2 days off and it's going to rain! (which = cooler climate.)  :D
54
((Right, given people enough time to ponder any mid-air shenanigans.  ;) Sorry for the wait, work shifts have had me up against the wall with not much time to do much. I'll get on with the RP.))

It had been about a couple of hours in the air, gliding across the sky of Equestria. Oddly though, the ponies noticed that the higher into the sky they went, the shifting from the obscure dullness of the mid-toned world without a distinctive light or colour to the typical colourful sky that they're used to. With the sun  being only so high in the sky, the colours of a twilight array could be seen. It didn't change its tone, sinking either to blue or to red or even the night's black. Looking at the different sides of the clouds they passed, they were either greeted with a silver surface and golden tint, or a blinding brightness complimented by a silver lining.

"I can see it! Get ready to land this thing, cuz we're almost there."
She was able to get a few moments peace in the basket, trading stories of how everypony met each other or how they reacted to the "Darkening." Pressure had just set herself down to relax, when she saw the well known features of Cloudsdale entering as a miniature state in the background. She then turned to the group in what is quite a tightly packed balloon ride.
"Okay, when we get there, remember to brace yourself before we touch town... I don't know how well anyone of us can land it on a cloud, but let's at least try to keep ourselves safe in the basket. Also, no non-pegasi should step out until we get ourselves sorted. I'm not going to tell you how high we are or how long it'll take for one of you to plummet to the world below when you step through the cloud... We all clear?"

Well don't expect that kind of magic from me... mine's a broken accent, not relating to anything of local or national inheritance... It's awesome! :D

((Whoop, Whoop!! The rainbow welcomes you to the Purple side! ;) ))

"Hmm, Kinda looks like a snake with tiny claws, a croc's head and long whiskers... This could work, but I'm sure there's lots of others to look through. If not, we could look into a story or scene where this creature is the focus of it..."
He looks back to to quill with a glimmer of success in his eyes.

"This is a great start, but I'm not finished yet! Is there any other unusual creatures around?"
His head dives into the book and flicks over the pages while Quill is holding the book.

Maybe something I'd look into, judging by the amount of idiots that cut me off or speed past and almost side-swipe another car, with only a smudge of their outside lane left to run etc. Pretty much had that 3 times in a 5min drive, it was crazy!

Not my current car - it's almost ready for the dump - not even worth scrap. Saving up for a 1/2 decent one now, but who knows if I'd get it in time.

I got a call from a random guy.
He congratulated me for graduating and asked few questions.
I was really confused so I couldn't really answer them properly...

I googled the phone number and found out that he was a guy from the radio.

Oh, my friend got a phone call from a number beginning with +44, we googled it and that number is the call number for Great Britain, she went crazy and wanted to call that number back.

Yep, us crazy britz will use radio to do some crazy stuff... Wait... She didn't just try to call us back for our accent, did she? A lot of people are a sucka for that kind of link. (Not a bad thing, just I think some of us would do the same for Texans or generally anyone from the States or other countries.)

Okay, here's one - There is nowhere to park in a city that is one of 2 things:
a) You got to pay for the parking space in either a multistory car-park or pay-and-display.
b) You can park for free, but only for an hour or two... And it's in a completely obscure and out-of-reach area from the center.

(Yeah I got a ticket - And it was totally my own fault. But it's incredibly hard to find a good parking space and not have to fork out money for it. Guess bus is best for long-term meetings and such.)

Can't believe this one hasn't been used yet... Why not the cliched "Element of Surprise!"?  0:)
Out of the originals, I'd say I'm the Element of Loyalty, with Honesty coming a close second. Sometimes, I do things that may end up in a more self-destructing way (but not that bad sounding). I'd stay an extra 20min of work to make sure something is complete, without hinting it. I try to note all my important people's b-days (family and friends).
Then, when I screw up, I tell them exactly what I know or did. I'm usually prepared for consequences and prefer to stick with things to the end.

If I thought of my own element - I'd stick to my star sign and call my element belonging to "Balance"for the scales. (Libra) I like to get multiple sides of the story and "weigh it out" between the facts etc. Plus, I'm usually level headed, but I can tip extremely from anger to joy like that. *Click fingers*-
That's how I see it anyways - I may not be so balanced when it comes to my dietary needs though.  :P
