"Heavy" had simply rolled her eyes when her companion had taken the towel off her hooves. Or, at least, from where she'd left it.
With that out of the way, she'd turned her attentions back to her attempts at treading water, all the while seemingly ignoring the pegasus after her attention.

Only Chaos' trotting over had distracted her, mostly because he was the only pony of the lot she actually knew the name of.
The 'lovely' part she could've lived without. She could also have lived more comfortably if her face hadn't scrunched up when she heard it, even if she did cover it up by quickly going below the surface for another swimming attempt.
42
[I believe it was implied that the almost faint plush was hiding. Sorry if that wasn't very clear.  >.<]
43
While the group of ponies and toys were busy trying to figure out what had happened, a small figure stuck his head out from behind the claw machine, out of sight and watching as he tried to catch his breath.
That was only two spells...
He found himself thinking as he retreated behind cover, slumping down against it as his vision slowly came back into focus.

...So why do I feel so faint?
44
The large earth-pony mare only let out a sigh as a towel fell right into her face, with no real reaction other than that as she calmly tossed the now very soaked rag to the side.

This swimming thing wasn't as interesting as she thought it was going to be.

Illusion couldn't help but let out a low, evil chuckle as he sent his magic flying, and even though it smacked right into the pegasus mid-flight, all it would've done was give a slight chill to indicate anything was at all wrong. That, and a green glow over the pegasus' eyes.

And, seemingly without warning, the lights went out, the sun seemingly exploding with about as much of a bang as a busted lightbulb.
Who knew what else would happen? Illusion knew, simply because he was running the show now with both sight and sound.
46
Again, Illusion had brought up a shield of the fire element, taking the brunt of the flare and lessening the damage to something more manageable while preventing a knockdown.
And now, because of that, Matton had finished charging his skill, charging forward with the explosive force of a cannon.

[glow=red,2,300]Earth-Rumbling Fist![/glow]

With overwhelming power, the gryphon slammed into the orb, carrying enough force to punch right through a stone wall, or maybe even a mountain if we're being particularly generous.
47
Without warning, Illusion turned towards the beam, reflecting it towards the orb with his staff as he stared, showing absolute zero regard for Marble's well-being in her current "berserk" state.
As a faint chill began to emanate from Illusion, he returned his attentions to covering Matton, from both Omnibus and potentially his other "allies".

If even one could turn so quickly in such a crucial time, there was no way he could trust any of them.
48
Without much more response other than confusion to go off of, the screeching only continued to get louder. To be honest, it was a bit miraculous that both ponies and plushies could even hear themselves speaking, much less hear anyone else.
Fortunately, it all stopped before long. But... Once again, the plush Illusion's horn began to glow as he shot a small ball of magic out from his chew-toy of a container. The magic ball quicky turned from green to red, and promptly exploded with a blinding flash and a loud bag.

By the time everything returned to normal and the other, normal ponies could see again, the Illusion plush had seemingly vanished, running off in the confusion.
49
For the shower of fireballs, Illusion's plan had been simple, a barrier seemingly of the same element, just enough to protect both him and Matton by causing the explosives to bounce off the barrier, some of them even sent flying right back to sender.

As for the Gryphon... He was still charging up energy, knowing that anything weaker in his strikes would be less than useless.
50
The Illusion plush failed to respond, even as it's plastic prison was being chomped on, he didn't respond. Immediately, anyway.
Without warning, as the plastic had cracked and he was exposed to the open air, his head slowly turned towards Mogeko, fake horn glowing green with what seemed to be very real magic.

And he screamed. Like a little filly, actually. Maybe it would've been funny, if not for one thing... For a plush, he was ridiculously LOUD, to the point of being deafening for anyone unfortunate enough to be in the same room as the source of this banshee-like screech.
51
All the more reason not to.
Was Lorym's simple, unspoken response as she proceeded to glare from the pool, her head just barely above the water as she did so.
52
Seeming to know almost immediately what the dark mist had meant, Illusion had promptly dived into cover in the shields of light, pulling Matton along with his magic.
When the gryphon had made to charge, he was stopped by Illusion using his staff to hold him back. Naturally, this seemed to infuriate him.

With that dealt with, the unicorn turned his attention back to the orb of darkness, several balls of magic forming at the head of his staff as he began to launch them, testing the orb's durability with ranged attacks.
Meanwhile, Matton still wasn't going to sit idly by, and already seemed to be charging up energy for a powerful blow.
53
The plush Illusion didn't respond in the slightest, either too frightened and/or just plain unwilling to interact with the others as he found himself stuffed into a bag.
On another note, it was terribly difficult for him to hear was was going on through a plastic "crystal" prison that had yet to be opened.
54
Oh no...
Lorym immediately cringed on the inside at the thought of somepony screeching in victory.
To put things into perspective, it was as if they'd asked her if they wanted to hear the most annoying sound in the world.

It was then that she made a small noise, one that could best be described as "no plz", and looking about ready to stick her head underwater in an attempt to escape the noise she feared would come.
55
The Plush, Illusion, felt a strong chill as his prison was being handled by mare, resisting the urge to shiver.
Even in his frozen state, his gaze darted here and there, eventually noticing another stuffed toy waving at him.

Help me out, here!
He wanted to scream, not knowing anything about the pony holding him and the nearby canine looking far more frightening than he really should've. For all he knew, he was going to be a new chew toy.
56
*Internal Screaming*

By the time the plush had been grabbed, a small tag could be easily seen on the "crystal" it was encased in, bearing it- No, his name.
Grand Illusion.
An actor, one who had experienced a sudden surge in popularity with stellar performances and his overall cheery disposition, and seemed to only become more and more famous as the months went by.
57
Is someone there...? I can't quite- I-is that a claw?!

Had the plushie inside the plastic crystal been given much room to move, it would've scrambled away from the claw that had suddenly become much too close.
What little it did do, however, was enough to unbalance it's prison among the dozens of other toys, causing it to fall over.

Right into the claw's approaching grasp.

Seeing that it was caught and already being pulled up, the plush immediately froze in place, trying not to cause any further disturbance with struggling.
58
Where... Am I...? What... What's happening...?

And like that, in the minor cacophony of noise from a nearby claw machine, another of the fabled "living plushies" had awoken.
And boy, was it confused, not even realizing where it was. Being stuck in a transparent blue plastic "crystal prison" didn't help matters much, making it all that much harder to see and be seen from the outside world.

The newly-awoken plush had tried pushing against the plastic it was encased in, but found that it just plain didn't open that way.
No, it was unfortunate enough to have been stuffed into a container that needed to be twisted off, a feat near-impossible for one toy to accomplish, let alone from the inside.
59
[All the other RPs I'm in seem to be going a bit slow, so... I guess I'll try my luck here as well. I hope you don't mind.  ^-^]
[Oh, and maybe this little arcade(?) could have a claw machine? Would be a perfect excuse to introduce yet another plushie.]

As she watched the pudgy pooch leave, Lorym couldn't help but notice a little warm feeling in her heart while she continued to experiment with the water, going deeper and deeper.

It was then she realized that, unlike the aforementioned pooch, she had the unfortunate tendency to sink like a stone on her own.
More fortunately, though, she managed to keep herself calm once the water had reached over her head, simply walking along the bottom back out into shallower territory.

That didn't exactly make it a fun experience, though.
