When playing Pokemon X I got so mad when finding out I couldn't take off my avatars hat that I decided not to use mega evolutions and even said no when asked if I wanted a Lucario since they made me use it on him/her, this choice shocked me and I don't have it in me to back for it.

Oh my god this. A million times this. Also when it seems the entire enemy team is running at you, and every time you kill someone theres immediately someone else to replace them.

"Super realistic graphics" Is it really so much to ask for a sandbox game that doesn't try to go in this direction instead going for something a bit more cartoonish or stylized because I'm kind of getting sick of it. (it can't mainly take place in a city/cities either)

Emulators. Not because they're pirated games, but because they run stupidly and quite often when you get one it'll be a foreign version.
