EDIT: Okay, so I just finished watching. Here are my thoughts on it:

Spoiler: show

- Yeah, I'd have to agree that the original Pinkie song was better, probably because of the voices that I didn't like in the dub.
- I don't like the sea serpent's voice, like, at all ._.
- Nightmare Moon still doesn't sound as evil...  till she screamed "STOP!" anyway.
- Celestia's voice... not what I expected, but I'LL ACCEPT IT!
- Younger Luna... I wish we could hear more of her voice, and I'm sure they'll be using an older-sounding voice when Season 2 comes.

I still need to get used to all of the mane six's voices x.x

I'm seriously hoping Wakamoto Norio will do it. (If you don't know who he is, he's extremely well-known for rolling letters when he talks. He's voiced a lot of animé characters, one example being Chiyo's Father (that cat-thing) in Azumanga Daioh, another being the narrator in Hayate no Gotoku!.)

As a Japanese lover as i am, i must say that this is a full win for me, MLP and japanese seiyus is a total win! 

Also, i uploaded my pony happy new year drawing to japanese pixiv this january, so, i'm a visionary, i knew this was going to happen anytime XD

(I also find the dialoge funnier in this version XD)

Yup! I know him from Azumanga and think that the voice he does as Chiyo's dad is wonderful X'DD It would make my day if he was Discord. c:

The fact that they call the Gala "dance party" means that the At The Gala song is going to be different. It'll be interesting to hear what it sounds like with that odd translation.
