Well no good *offensive* spells till later but there is "sanctuary" -> Takes a standard action to cast (half a round) and enemies cannot attack you for a number of rounds (the number of rounds at this point is one.) Nor can you attack them for that same number. That should give you enough time to get over to us though.

Allright ponies for to-hit you usually add your strength modifier (just letting you know, I'm doing that for you, at the moment) and your BAB (base attack bonus) which comes from your class.  (Which I am also doing for you  !)

We need Kai over here, stat Ryo! We aren't going to do well if our main figher is out cold.
