I find it funny we're roleplaying this the night before I do something I'll probably regret. I'm going to have a letter delivered to someone I had feelings for 2 years ago, and have thought about throughout those years until now, regarding said feelings and thanking her for something she did those 2 years ago(that out of respect for the rules regarding personal baggage I won't delve into).

Any advice for the lad that's always been turned down and hardly ever been told the truth to by those he loves/loved and cares/cared about?

Well, I wouldn't know how to advise you, being myself highly inexperienced on heart matters, but I want you know that I greatly admire your courage, JC: even more since, some years ago, I tried too to admit through letter my feelings to someone.
In the end, I didn't send it because I was too scared.

I appreciate the thoughts. I gave the letter, maybe it'll turn out positive. I doubt it. I'm happy either way though, it's finally over with, what needed to be said is finally said/wrote.

I did the same thin' a few months ago with a pal from three years ago. It was platonic, but I never got a response. I honestly didn't mind though. Its been so long and I just had to say some stuff that needed to be said. So if it doesn't end as well as you want, at least you said/wrote what you had to.

But yeah, stay positive.

Also, my opinions are not facts.

Sorry, back on topic about something off topic:

If I'm being honest Raven, I'm 18 and I have never been in a relationship, not even a minor one. It isn't something I really think about at the moment, also I'm really shy.

I honestly believe real relationships begin when you are slightly older, I can't think of a single relationship that happened between my acquaintances age 18 and below, that is still going on now.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying it can't happen, it is just, in my knowledge very rare. Most of the time relationships that happen in school (or around that age) don't last long, and it is something the two within the former relationship end up trying to forget.

I'm not saying there is anything wrong with relationships that occur during "school age", if you truely like someone go for it. If it doesn't go well though, don't feel too bad about it, it can happen, and it has happened, many times.^-^

Oh, believe me, I knew it wouldn't end well. She never contacted me, likely threw the letter away. I'm just one of those people with an overly mature mind but a severe want of companionship, something that it seems everyone but myself is capable of.

I kind of understand you on the part of the "overly mature mind": I've been told I'm mentally 40 since I was 12. I never disagreed on it, though: I've never really felt at ease with people of my age, even if I tried to.
