"It's not really a trick. Since our magical signatures are virtually the same, it just takes one of us coming into a certain radius of the other, and we know exactly where the other is." Rush said to Sweet, then turned to Jade. "If I really want to, but that's only for emergencies or something like that."



"It certainly might. We should get away as quickly as possible, but don't run, he might suspect something's off." Spook said quietly.

Sweet kept walking, lost in her thoughts for the moment.

Jade tilted her head, "Can you do that with all unicorns? Or just cuz you and the other pony are related?" she asked, a little confused.

Sottises turned to look straight ahead, trotting at a quick clip.

White closed his eyes in thought.

He opened them again, exhaling slightly.
"Sorry about calling you kiddo, by the way.  Once you start feeling older, you end up wanting to call everyone that."

Maple burst into laughter "oh it's quite alright now tell me about your self you look to nice to own a home this size by your self "

Grey walked along the path she has cleared through the forest, Ivory and Obsi were in school right now, they made their mother very proud to see how good they were doing.. Grey continued to be lost in thought until she abruptly walked into the fence around Sweet's home.

White chuckled, softly.  "I happen to know some folks who are very good at business.  They helped out a bit paying it off, though I'm not quite by myself.  I'm married."
He took a small serpent shaped ring off his horn, examining it lovingly.

White smiled and put it back on.
"How about you?  You got any family, or kids?"

"Actually, I can create a mental link with almost anypony who is willing to make one. It's just a little easier with Spook because we're so close to the same."



Spook kept pace with Sottises, very aware of their pace and how suspicious they may look.

Maple ears drouped for a second "umm....n...no " he looked around awkwardly for a bit as if he might begin to cry

Grey shook her head and went up to the door, she had a bag filled with some treats for the foals, and a bottle of hoof made scented oil for Sweet.

Jade giggled softly. "Like twins!" she said with a smile. Turning her head to look down the path, the unicorn filly squinted. "Mama? Are there other ponies on the beach?" she asked, pointing with her free hoof.

Sweet looked further ahead of them. "Maybe...I'm not sure though. Hey Rush? Can you do a scanning spell or something? Who are they?" she asked, nodding to the figures ahead of them.

Sottises kept moving, hoping to break line of sight with the group behind them.

Sensing an emotional topic, White backed off to try a different approach.
"I'd imagine you care deeply for Blue then?"

White's ears pricked.  He thought he'd heard something, but it was possible he was imagining it.

Grey smiled to herself, she had missed the mare-to-mare conversations with Sweet. She then knocked on the door, and made sure that all of the items were still in her saddlebags.

Rush nodded. "Sure."

His horn flickered to life, surrounding itself with his gray aura. His horn released a pulse of magic in the direction of the two in the distance.

"Why that's... Sottises and Spook?" He said, sounding confused.



Spook nearly froze on the spot.

"We've been found out." He said, sounding oddly calm.

At that maple half smiled and gave a chuckle "like she was my own, besides I knew her dad from when his family lived next to mine we where like brothers" a tear ran down his good eye "I was away on a tour for the guard right after this happened to me*points to the eye*,so I never knew that they had passed away  my guess was because they never told there families that I was there keeper" he

White blinked in surprise for the third time today, and shook his head slightly.
Does Sweet get so many visitors?
"Sorry, Maple.  I'll be right back."  White stood and moved to the door.

Excitement filled him again at the realization it could be Sweet.
Taking a short breath, he opened it.  "Sw-"  He stopped himself quicker this time.
"Grey, it's been a while, good to see you."

Sweet trotted a little faster, seeing hoping to catch up to the other ponies.

Jade watched with awe as Rush cast his spell.

Sottises paused alongside Spook. "So, what do we do now? It is not like we'll be punished, we haven't done anything wrong...yet." she mumbled softly.

Rush trotted faster towards the others.



"Well, either you should do the talking since you are in pretty good standings with them, or I can omit part of the truth." Spook replied in almost a whisper.

Grey's eyes widened, and her mouth fell a little agape. "White?! I haven't seen you in almost a year! How are you?" Tens of questions team though her head will at once.

Sweet and her foals followed close behind Rush.

Fix moved from guest to guest in the inn, doing his best to keep up with the requests. Even when doing this his mind was still in his lab, equations, theories and other ideas swirled in his head like crazy.
