() Changeling Invasion RP () (Sign-Up)

I will never be one of you! snarled Solar as he transformed into his normal pony self. I will be a pony, and stay one! he said as he grabbed Electric and teleported in a group of survivors not too far away.

[Zerum]

Continuing the march, Nimbus is finally able to catch his breath and allowed some time to think about what occurred when a sudden flash blinded him.

*Hours before*

Feeling like someone hit him with a sack of junk, Nimbus gets shakily to his hooves. A warm sensation just above his right eye reveals a deep gash. Putting a hoof up to stanch the bleeding, he tries to remember what had happened. He could recall these strange fireballs crashing down. He looked around and saw the guard post he and Taters occupied was completely destroyed. Suddenly it occurred to him.

"Tater!" he shouted shifting through the rubble.

After a moment of searching, he came across her lifeless corpse. Crushed under a beam that had given way to the falling objects. Nimbus tried to dig her out but strange chattering noises stopped him in his tracks. All around him, odd black creatures were emerging. Each one had a salivating maw which oozed out a thick and slimy secretion. Gulping, Nimbus drew out his sword and readied himself. Something told him these creatures wouldn't allow him a moment to despair over his friend.

*In the present*

Blinking away the spots in his eyes, Nimbus shouted to everypony to stand clear. Slamming his hooves down, Nimbus reared up and revealed two deadly looking blades that protrudes from his vambraces. Charging forward, ignoring the calls of the others, Nimbus only just realized that he was charging down two ponies.

" My changelings! Seize him! " she says loudly as a large group of changelings surround him.  Crystalite lands in the circle and growls " You are going to have to feed some time... You wouldn't want to have to be mind swept... Because if you want to live, you must feed... " she says as she stares at him intimadatingly. Her white eyes illuminate the night as she stares deeply at Solar, her aluring voice becons causing her to activate one of her useful abilities, hypnotism.

Windfrost, fresh out of The Everfree, looked around at the open landscape before her. She had been in there for the past few days, recording the daily activities of a Timberwolf with pups. Feeling strangely edgy, she walked out of the shade of the forest with every step in mind. Something didn't feel right- something definitely wasn't right. The sun was duller, the world was quieter, and a strange metallic scent hung heavy in the air. She had never feared anything, she practically lived in the scariest forest in Equestria, but now an overwhelming sense of horror struck her mind. The Pegasus lifted her hooves off the ground and flew into the small town close to The Everfree. She needed to confront somepony on this new feeling of dread.

(( I am going to try to spread out the roleplay. I am sending a group of Changelings, lead by Hissy Fit who I will add to the sign-up, to Ponyville to capture survivors. So of you begin in Ponyville and beyond then the changeling camp will be there too ))

Solar beam was soon hypnotized. Electric soon shot a laser beam at Chrystalite hoping her not to block or dodge it. You can never get away with this! thought Electric.

 Chrystalite's reflexes match the beam as she counters the attack. " Now... My Ponyville squad! Our next aim is Ponyville! Seize the pony and farewell the team, because we have to move now! " she says as change seize the mare. The squad arrives in Ponyville and searches for survivors. A small group surround Windfrost.

Seeing the Changelings surround her, Wind's face went white. She ran away from where she was looking only to see more Changelings.
She was surrounded!
The pegasus suddenly came to remember she had wings, but they were frozen in fear.
She could only crouch and shake in fear as there buggy ponies seemingly creeped closer.

A taller changeling with pearly white eyes trots through the changelings. Her elegant yet gentle voice surrounds the area. " Is this the only one left... " she says as an armored changeling frowns and nods at her.

[Jaywo]

Windfrost stared up in horror at the Changeling that appeared to be in charge. "W-what's this about?" She demanded.

" Silence! " the leader yells at the mare. A dozen changelings break off from the group and begin to build shelter with a green substance. " Take the pony back to Canterlot.. " she says as a rusty chain is tied to her and a few changelings.

[Jaywo]

At the command, Wind sunk even further into the ground. She shivered at the chain around her neck and took each shaky step carefully and reluctantly as they began to Canterlot.
One thing was for sure, she didn't want to get under the leader Changeling's radar.

The changelings soon began to trot at a high speed. One turns it's head and hisses at the pony. " Lift your wings! We are gonna take off! " it says as the changeling at the front begins to fly up.

Still stiff with fear, Wind willed her wings to flap, and she lifted off the ground with the Changelings.
She sure as heck wasn't going to attack them, so she might as well accept whatever fate comes her way.

As they fly, they notice a group of survivors ( Zerum). One of the changelings shoots an eldrich beam at the group before continuing into the sky.

Windfrost held back a cry as she saw the attack on the survivors, and she drooped her head as they continued along.

Noticing last minute that the new arrivals were, in fact, a Unicorn mare and a small Earth pony filly, Nimbus twists himself mid-air and flips up and over them before steadying himself.

"What they hay? Where did you two come from?" Nimbus shouted, clearly shaken at nearly attacking two innocent ponies.

Before they could answer, the filly lets out a scream which causes Nimbus to turn around. All he saw was a white flash before he blacked out.

*Hours before*
Panting with exhaustion, the last of the creatures fell to the ground, its eyes or whatever constituted as eyes were rolling in their sockets in a comedic fashion. Spitting out the sword, Nimbus mumbled something about it not being sharp enough to cut butter, before he looked around for another weapon of some kind. He had his two hidden hoof blades but that was up close and personal work, something ill suited for these creatures. Finding a hardy branch, Nimbus clutched it and trotted down to what remained of the front gates of his section of the wall.

Stopping in horror, Nimbus saw dozens of ponies trapped within green pods of some kind. Inspecting them closer, Nimbus saw one of his fellow guards pony breathing, but unconscious. 'Good, at least they're alive.' he thought looking around. Suddenly a bi-toned voice rang out across Canterlot. Judging by the direction, the voice came from the castle. Gulping, Nimbus readied himself for take off when he spotted a hoof waving to him. Cautiously approaching, Nimbus found a tan Earth pony waving him over. Nimbus took two steps before he was pounced upon. Struggling, somepony splashed a clear, smelly liquid on him. From all the grunting, he made out the phrase "Looks like he's the real deal. Let 'em up."

"That better not stain my armor." Nimbus said threateningly to a Unicorn whom he recognize as one belonging to one of Celestia's higher courts. Before he could muster another word, a hoof was shoved into his mouth and he was forced down one more. He was about to struggle until he noticed the fear in their eyes as they scanned the sky. Looking up, Nimbus saw dozens, upon dozens of those things buzzing through the sky, clearly searching for more ponies.

Looking into the Unicorn's eyes which seem to say "Let's get out of here!" Nimbus solemnly nodded and followed the group out past the wall and into the countryside.

*In the present*

Nimbus shook himself of the stars that seemed to pop in his face and saw what had hit him. A small convoy of the creatures were dragging away a Pegasus with what appeared to be a chain. Ignoring the throbbing pain and the shouts of the others, Nimbus dragged himself on to his hooves and dusted off, flying at high speed. Its one thing to attack him behind his back, its another to take a fellow Pegasus to Celestia knows where.

"OI! UGLY!" Nimbus shouted seconds before colliding with the creature who had attacked him.

Hearing the call, Windfrost looked down at the suicidal pony charging right at the group of changelings.
She took the moment of confusion as an opportunity to snap the chain off her neck.
Feeling less helpless with a saviour on the way, Wind launched herself at the nearest Changeling, the end of the rusty chain in hoof.

The changelings struggle to keep formation as only two more continue flying. As she begin to near to the ground They collide with a tree causing the changelings to be left in an unconscious state.
