Life in Ponyvile V

Dream's face deadpans and she rolls her eyes, "Calm down, Physics... It's not like you're saving the world or anything." She turns her eyes to Flame, "So, you two are related, huh?" She asks him, trying to learn more about two of the three ponies she knew in town.

Flame rolls his eyes at Physics as he shouts A little much Physics nothing to get that excited over. Well no he's my brother in law since I'm married to his younger sister He says clarifying things

  I do want to tell you! 

  "What do you think about it?  I was hoping to move some place quiet, away from the city.  So far, I haven't been disappointed."  All the while as he talked, Low's metaphorical mask never slipped, his charming smile almost genuine.  It was something he had taught himself and perfected years ago, the art of adopting multiple personalities.  If his true self was as obnoxious as everyone made sure he knew, then he'd find himself a personality that ponies DO like.  No one at his old job caught on to the fact that he was wearing a mask, and yet, this mare whom he had barely known for an hour was quite tenaciously trying to rip it off.  It was almost perplexing, really.  Behind his smile, Low could think all the angsty and moody thoughts he wanted without once dumping them on his associates.
  Yes, that was the problem.  The problem was that no one cared about his problems.  After all, everyone has their own problems, so why should his problems be held in higher regard than others?  It was only natural for one to think selfishly, but he was done being selfish.  He alienated others out of the selfish desire to force them to be his friends; let the others make their own decisions for once; if they want to be friends with some angsty colt who should probably see a therapist, then let them consciously sign on for it.
  Living behind a mile-high wall had it's benefits, but would it really hurt to go outside every once and a while?

Of course it would.

The food and drink arrives.

She still doesn't believe that his smile is genuine and instead of answering his question she reaches out and takes his hoof in her own. "Why don't we eat this and go for a walk?" She gives him a smile and flutters her wings slightly at the thought of doing a bit of flying.

Again, Dream rolls her eyes, "Well, yeah... He already said that. I was just making sure... Got any other relatives?" She asks next, looking between both Flame and Physics.

We both have foals, and I'm also married.... Physics explains to Dream Seer, his mind focused on theories of which combination of magical herbs would create the potion Dream wanted.

oh yeah   Well I have a twin sister named Icliane or just Ice and our parents passed awhile back when we were 13 and as Physics said I have a son named Jetstream

Dream nods, placing her bag back beneath the table, "Sorry to hear that, Flame... About your parents. Have you two been her all your lives?" She then asks.

A waitress approaches the table as her words leave her lips and asks if they're ready to order.

  For the second time today, Low's train of thought derailed as Mythic again made physical contact without warning.  Reverting back to his original personality, his eyes went wide and his mouth went dry.  Who was this mare, and why did she insist on so publicly trying to force him out of his shell?  Did she not know who he was?

Of course not, you haven't told her.

  Right.  Either way, she doesn't need to know.  I'll go on this walk with her, we'll probably only be 30 minutes before she realizes how boring I am, and then we'll go our separate ways.  I'll go home, calm my nerves with a book and some tea, and then maybe do my best to forget her.

But what if she doesn't get bored?  What if she likes you?

Snapping out of his daydream, Low realizes he's blushing hotly and staring into Mythic's eyes.  Withdrawing his hoof as gently as possible, he stares down at his sandwich and picks it up with his magic, forcing himself to take bites in spite of the butterflies in his stomach.

Flame shakes his head No we aren't we come from the country of darkness Evillious. We came here about 3 years ago. Flame says partially telling the truth

She gives him a smile and bites into her chocolate cake, and manages to get a bit of it on her cheek.

I better be off, come over to my shop, you can't really miss it, it's obsidian black in Ponyville, later tonight and I'll have your potion ready, K? Physics tells Dream Seer with a wink, as he rushes out of the restaurant door.

[Seriack]

Dream Seer saw the wink and shook her head, only sparing him a glance as he left, after which she ordered her food: A rose and sunflower petal sandwich, with a glass of water on the side. She looks over at Flame as the waitress does as well.

Low finishes his sandwich, doing his best to settle his nerves with the nearby glass of water when he notices the piece of cake on her cheek.  He sets his glass down and tentatively reaches out to tap her hoof with his.  After grabbing her attention, he says, "Um, you have some cake on your cheek."

She looks up and wipes it away "Better?" she asks.

  In a moment of weakness, Low finds himself looking over the rest of her face.  She really wasn't that bad to look at: her coat was the same hue as his, her mane was an interesting shade of purple, and her eyes...if he didn't think about how creepy it looked and sounded, he could stare into them all day.  However, Low realized that he had again zoned-out and was smiling like an idiot.
  His professional demeanor returning to him, he replied, "Yes, a lot better."

She gives him a rather cute smile and looks him over, taking in his own appearance.
