Oh, I mean-- Um, horrible, assignments and stuff. Been playing lots of Borderlands lately, though, so it's all good~

Life is going as it goes always, a bit boring, but also with fun in it.
At the moment, I'm doing nothing productive at all, I admit.

I started working as an unpaid undergrad in an inorganic chemistry research laboratory, and I'm having a lot of difficulty keeping up with my classes and getting enough sleep. It seems I've finally put too  much on my plate, as it were.

I've been so busy trying to not fall behind, and not getting enough sleep lately, that I have halted all creative work, including my board games.

...Just curious, is this group waiting for the game to be released before it does anything?  'Cause I'm feeling rather useless.  I haven't done anything more than painting the emblem on my shoulder plate.

What's to do?  We've got a story, a seal, signatures, something of an anthem, roles, and a thread.  We tried making a herd RP once, but it kept dying.

kinda/sorta/not-really/maybe.  I wrote something ages ago, but it never became official or anything.

Far over the Canterlot Mountains tall,
To Luna's keep, Celestia's hall.
Timberwolves howl in the dark;
The dragons come to leave their mark.
The clouds turn pink,
Our spirits sink,
Equestria fell to Discord's might,
But we returned, him for to smite!

But vict'ry was tempered with mourning.
Suffering ponies, our actions scorning
Showed us the pain that Discord had left,
And though we'd won, of joy we were bereft.
For traveller's aid,
A Blessing we made.
From fair Canterlot out to the world
We travelled Equestria with banners unfurled.

And o'er the years our numbers grew small,
For unicorns alone did our group call.
And so at last we opened up our herd,
And in non-unicorns conferred.
And then once more
In days of yore,
We walked the paths Equestrian
To help the lost pedestrian.

Now, long after those dark days,
Our Watchers strong still guard the ways.
And though we finished all our founders willed,
And we with peace the land have filled
We carry on,
With every dawn,
To finish now our herd's new goal:
To help each stallion, mare and foal.

Once again we climb the mountains tall,
In triumph over Discord's fall!
Our friendships held, our honesty stood strong.

Here's an idea: playing OTHER games together? Kindle some kinship in-game (different game, sorry) and out-of-forum.


In other news, cursed quarter system, keeping me from having a schedule that lines up with my friends on the semester system.

Actually that sounds like a lovely idea. It would be awesome if we could all play other games while LoE is being made. It could keep us busy , and will help us get to know each other better.
