Google Chrome Errors

Google Chrome used to work perfectly for me but now when I try to download something nothing happens, yet when I close Chrome it says the download will be lost. Also, if I want to upload a picture nothing happens when I click the little gray box that lets me choose a pic to upload.
Does anyone know what I should do?

I'd just say get a better browser, but that's mean of me. I guess you should just redownload Chrome maybe? It never happened to me when I used chrome.

You still have that horror Internet Explorer most likely, I didn't mean use chrome to redownload it.

I'm pretty sure that was obvious.

I'm not a proexpert at this sort of thing, but the usual protocol is to delete your cookies, but if that doesn't work, try reinstalling chrome, but if even that doesn't work, try installing Firefox and use that. At this point, your problem should hopefully be fixed. If it isn't, I'm still here for ya.

If you're running windows (any version of windows), go to start > run > cookies > and then delete everything in that file, except the index file. For mac, I'm not sure. I've never used a mac.

In any browser related issues you should try clearing your cache
Settings-Show Advanced Settings-Under Privacy;Clear Browsing Data-check cookies and cache and clear it all, see if that helps.
If not all I can say is to reinstall Chrome or a new browser(I use Firefox)

I said clearing it didn't help and I CAN'T DOWNLOAD ANYTHING.

You may have a anti virus program that does not want Chrome to download anything. I wish I could help you more, good luck.

That explains it then, you must have a virus. It's not Google Chrome it's a virus.

The only help I can provide is to say that you might need to rewind your system to a point where it worked.
