I was thinking about starting one, but was too lazy. lol

The game has been quite fun. Its been years since I last properly played animal crossing. I wanna say since about '07 or so with wild world. I sold halo reach,4, and pokemon diamond to get my copy. I haven't played much of it though, just about an hour or so each day since I got it, minus the last few of days.

Oh yeah, and anyone else caught any sharks? I managed to catch one on my second day playing. :D It was funny, I got excited when I saw it. Having wanted to catch one since the first game, the interwebs lied about that, and not seeing any in wild world.


A bit much for a $35 game, but honestly I don't care. Halo is great, but its not like I'm going to even play them, nor am I even using my xbox(or live) anymore. I've got friend's and my brother's games if I want to play the campaigns again. I also have platinum so I can still play a sinnoh game.

Why is my town fruit always the pear o.O . Why can't it ever be oranges, apples, or peaches?

I have the game. Just fyi about friend code, it shares with your 3DS friend roster.

To answer your question, the fruit you start off with is random which is also your native fruit. If u want a different fruit, you have to visit other people's towns to get them and i recommend grabbing 3 of each fruits in case if 1 fruit tree dies. You'll get others on the island and the tour as well. Sometimes you'll get a foreign fruit from your villager if you do the task for them.

As for the shark question, they probably increased the appearance rate in this game and it's most likely that you'll find them between 4PM-9AM at the sea also they have dorsal fin so easy to spot, but the catch is that you'll find them as either the shark, hammerhead shark, saw shark, and ocean sunfish. Yeah, they make a quick and fast money, but worth more if your town's ordiance is on bell boom.

Today I was at mall and I got.................................. two Skylanders toys! Finally gotten every Giant and got this awesome *polar* Whirlwind character! I could of gotten AC:NF but that polar Whirlwind was the last one and it was gorgeous!

if you guys are curious about getting both the game and the system, why not just get the bundle for both 3DS and the game itself? the cost is gonna be expensive for both game and the system and yeah the system is the 3DS XL model with a animal crossing skin. if the game itself that you guys want, here's a good news for you guys, amazon has it for $26.59 on sale if you guys asked me.

if you guys need to know money making tips, here's what i know

1. set your town's ordiance to bell boom. using this ordiance makes money making easy enough. note: using this ordiance doesn't affect the turnip prices.

2. sell turnips at a high price. the turnip price may change at 12AM and 12PM, all time zones so keep an eye on your turnip price. if you think you got the high price, sell your turnips. if you don't have the high price, you can make a visit to someone's town that has a high turnip price and then you can make enough trips to sell your turnips. using night owl and early bird ordiances extends your time in selling your turnips. if you can't get the high turnip price in your town, just take the chance of selling your turnips by saturday. note: don't time travel back. time traveling back will spoil your turnips.

3. use a shovel on a rock. you'll find magic rocks that can cause money to pop out of the rocks. to prevent being knocked back, just put 2 holes behind you if you're facing at the corner of the rock or 3 holes behind you if you're not facing at the corner of the rock and usually if there's a rock near the river or tree, you can use that to your advantage. using silver shovel on the magic rock will cause minerals to pop out instead of money.

4. fish for some sharks, red snappers, ocean sunfish and barred knifejaws. the best time to get these fish is between 4PM-9AM all time zones. if it's raining in your town, that would be probably the best time to fish for the same fish that i mentioned except for the shark although if you're lucky enough, you could get coelacanth which is worth 15k bells or more if bell boom ordiance is in effect.

Started growing a wide assortment of fruit in my town, now all I have to do is wait for a re-tail premium deal, and cash in (or bell in)

Well, I got it! My mom remembered she still had a gift card and she didn't have anything to use it for, so she let me use it to make the game cheaper for myself. :D

I already paid the down payment on my house, and I've donated some bugs and a few fossils to the museum! This is gonna be :3 so awesome!

My town is called Caketon. X3 I couldn't really think of anything else.

I took the cheap route and named my town after a game I had recently played; Inaba from persona 4.

mine is called...towny

I made a cupcake design for the town's flag. :3
And I'm using that "sample carpet" starter design (the one that looks like a checkerboard cookie) to lay out paths from my house to Re-Tail, the train station, and the town's bridge. I managed to get my house set up really close to all three of those, and the town hall isn't too far from the bridge.

I also set the rose design next to the rock in front of town hall because that's the rock that dropped bells when I hit it today. ovO

Also, is it really really true that flowers help grass grow back more quickly? O: I picked up all the flowers in my town and moved them to the dirt patches that my town started with, hoping the patches will grow grass more quickly.

I went with my usual town name, The Federation of Windurst from Final Fantasy XI and my town tune is a chocobo theme and as for the town flag, windurst flag design which i got the pattern from QR code by using the sewing machine at able sister's shop.

Not only the Magic Rocks can pop out money, but as i said in my tips, if you have a silver shovel, the magic rock can pop out ores as well when you're using the silver shovel.

Final Fantasy games have great town names

I got my 1st golden tool of the game and it took me around 33 balloons or more just to get it. despite the matters of getting silver slingshots and balloon furniture set.

Well, I've discovered that the stuff like buried stuff, the money rock, and probably the shells are all renewed at 6 AM.
Also, I got my first gem/ore/whatever! I hit a rock, and it broke, leaving an amethyst. Surprised the daisies outta me. O:

That doesn't work in this Game, New Leaf. Golden Tools are in different conditions to obtain them except for slingshot (which I just posted the screenshot) and as well as the golden watering can.

I meant to add a part saying if you own an old game. The whole post was meant to be "Here's a tip: If you have an old game , and you haven't started new leaf yet buy two shovels , and bury one. Then wait for a day , and dig it back up. After that when you get new leaf use the move to new cartridge feature , however you may lose it , but it's still worth a shot."

I got the game today, I've been traveling back and forth from FlameandIce's town exchanging gifts, shopping when my stores are closed and going to the island and such. My town is Wabtonia my name for my fictional kingdom where I'm the princess and such. I'd love to play with some of you //as long as your nice >: ( // If you'd like to play with me, PM me your FC and just state that you wanna play ACNL with me, I'll send you my FC back. ^-^ I decided to take a picture of us but I couldn't find him, so I just went back to my town and took a picture of myself. It's not very good quality though since I don't know how I'd take a picture from my SD card and put it on my laptop.

If you guys are looking for some town tunes, I usually go to 1 or 2 sources where I got'em from. one was from the animal crossing community (ACC) which I came from and the Other was on Gamefaqs on GCN Animal Crossing. Apparently Testing was needed if you think you're ok with the town tune you made or have matching town tune.

For those with Final Fantasy Towns, My recommended Town Tune is the Chocobo Theme.

Just fyi about my turnip price yesterday, I had 183 bells per turnip as a AM price. i think i'm in for a rollercoaster or high spike, maybe.

I just found Gulliver washed up on the beach. Thank you, Wikipedia, for helping me find out what country he meant to go to. ovO

I'm so glad you can finally store bugs and fish in the closet now. That makes things a lot easier. I currently have an eel and a shark in there.

By the way, it's also awesome that you can stack fruit in your inventory! It only stacks up to nine, but hey, that's three trees worth. I stacked 3 durians, and I thought the basket with durians in it looked cool, so I went to drop it in my house, and it displayed as furniture! ovO

you shouldn't be kicking your villagers out of your town just yet. what you guys wanna do first is just to unlock more work projects from your villagers before kicking them out of your town.

if you wanna increase your chances of getting a majora's mask, you should just focus on upgrading for more fortune cookies however it's gonna cost you more play coins.

At least my Play Coins finally have a place to be spent again.

Fun Fact: Fortune Cookies count as 500 Bells each. And since they become "Sold Out", it counts to the Bell total of the requirement to upgrade the Nookling Shops.

I really have to unlock that as a public work projects, but the last work project that I unlocked was Wind Turbine from my villager, lily. it looks like a windmill though, should be a good work project i would make, but i have to fully expand my house first while I unlock more work projects.

The Reset Center is the easiest one to unlock. Simply do the following: Load your file, close the game, and play your file again. He'll come and tell you that you can fund a Reset Center.

Well I'm saving the reset center for last because I have to unlock other projects from other villagers. I'm sure that getting their attention unlocks the work project, but sometimes they just give me random stuff like asking for catchphrases and greetings.

I want to know how to fund a police station. Is it just getting the animals' attention?

I know! I hate that.

Yeah, a animal will request it. My villager with Uchi personality requested it.
But when they do request it, you have the choice between the Mondern and Classic
Police Station.

Well to unlock work projects, they come with the requirements such as museum renovations, cafe, dream suite, fortune telling, and reset center. the rest of it comes from the villagers with different personalities such as jock and others. the town hall and the other work project comes with perfect town.

you have to be careful where you place your work project. some work projects can't be demolished after it's built. note on the bridges is that they can only build in between rivers and you can only build 3 of them so make sure where you want to place them for the shortcuts.

It's a really nice game, even though I'm a citizen since my brother is the mayor. I made a Roll pattern, which I had to spend 1,000 to make, half to make it, half to fix it. Aside from that, it's a fun game. It must be more fun for the mayor though..... >:/ A tip: SHARKS. I got about 60,000 from them and other stuff, but spent about 50,000 of it to help pay for the Dream Suite. Yay. (Too lazy to put exact numbers.)

Sharks, Napoleonfish, Red Snappers, Barred Knifejaws, and Coelacanths are worth a lot, but if you set the ordiance to bell boom, you'll get more money out of them including when they're marked as premium items. If you wanna make fast money, just follow my moneymaking tips and then you'll be rich in no time. Not only those are the moneymaking tips I can provide, but also if you put in a little money in your ABD bank account, you'll earn more bells as interest into your ABD bank account per month.

You wanna start fishing at the beach area or island between 4PM-9AM for those fishes as i mentioned, but Coelacanths only appear in rain and snow so exclude that, but you may be lucky enough to get a ocean sunfish as well.

Speaking of patterns, I just got one of the designs off from a QR code which was the Flag Design I had as a Pattern for GCN AC and AC: WW, but this type of pattern should turn out well. I believe the creator of the pattern turned into the QR code and then I managed to get the hold of the Pattern.

Well I love to share some of my Patterns that I have, but I'm pretty sure you guys won't find any interest of them also the problem about converting the pictures or images into a pattern is that the program I used for that kind of stuff wasn't updated plus I only have 18 Patterns on my list and they can only be used for GCN AC and AC: WW which it will match those colors also I can't convert my patterns into a QR code for a coloring and pattern pro design reason

how do you make patterns so neat? also, where do I get my friend code? o.O

my friend told me that your friend code for the game syncs with your 3DS system's friend roster so if you have us registered in your friend roster on your 3DS system on the home menu, it's automatically added to the game's friend roster. if it's for dream suite, you only need the code from the shop i believe.

as for the pattern question, well that's a good question because obviously the pattern design pro was pretty much new to me and the colors for the patterns that i wanted doesn't match.

Just on the Warning side that my patterns may not be the ones you're looking for (or not interested at all) and the patterns that you searched for and trying to design may not have the right matching colors.

I also put an eel in my house, but the shark tank is right in the middle. It's like, you walk into my house and BAM, a shark!

I'm trying to fund a second bridge across the river on the other side of the map, so I don't always have to go all the way down to the one near my house. Man, it's expensive. :c

I think I'm gonna look up all of my villagers on the Animal Crossing wikia and find out what personality types they are, so I can start figuring out what works projects they're gonna bring me.
Riiiight after I do my daily stuff.
- Search the whole town for weeds and pull them
- Search for today's dig spots and dig 'em
- Water any wilted flowers I see
- Search for today's money rock and get my daily 4,100 bells from it ;) (Dig a hole behind you, to your left, and to your right, so you won't end up scooted too far back to keep hitting the rock)
- Search for today's gem rock (It'll be a random rock that wasn't there the day before. When you hit it, it breaks)
- Turn in the fossils I've found
- Check all the shops for what they're selling today
In no particular order.

I'm also gonna stare at the suspicious pear that one of my villagers gave me for a bit. I left it on the ground away from important things. I don't know why she gave it to me and acted so suspicious about it like she was desperate to get rid of it. It kinda creeps me out.

4,100 bells? You're doing something WAY wrong. You should be getting 16,100 bells per money rock. And that big mistake is, putting holes NEXT to you. NO holes should be directly adjacent to the rock, in ANY direction.
You seem to be doing this:

This way, you won't be pushed back, but you will still hit it all 8 times and get all 8 groups of bells.

Oh man. I just caught my villagers Moe and Tex having a conversation. Moe thinks Tex is some kind of food expert, and Tex said that for breakfast this morning he had two slices of bread lightly toasted in a special oven, and he spread fruit preserves on one side of each slice. Moe was like whoa that sounds fancy, all I had was toast with jam on it.

I've been trying to hybridize flowers. I finally got a pink lily. YAYYYYY. I DID IT. I DID IT, MOM. YAYYYY! :P

My favorite hybrids are blue pansies and orange pansies.

So, I have the following kinds of villagers: Peppy, cranky, two normal, lazy, snooty, uchi, smug, and jock. :]

So all of them? And where are the "official" names for the personalities found? The game never mentions the names of the personalities. And what does "uchi" mean?

Yes, all of those are the offical personalities and their names.
Uchi personality is a female villager with 3 personalities:
Preppy, Snooty and Normal.
Uchi was in the original Animal Crossing Forest and for the GameCube.

My question is, where are the official personality names found? Within the game? Player's Guide? They're not in the instruction manual. So those are the only other possible sources.

I'm guessing the official names are found in the player's guide, but that book is $20. :o

I wanna hold onto my cranky villager. For some reason, cranky villagers tend to unlock the "zen" public works projects.

Silver Shovel is pretty much handy to use for now because ever since WW and CF, the gold shovel only allows you to make money depending on how much you bury it and there's a chance of getting the money. I've been Using the Silver shovel every day for the magic rock.

This is my Daily Routine so far

Every 6AM or so, I find the Magic rock and whack it with the silver Shovel to get 8 ores out of it and then search around for weeds, fossils, and gyroids.

Every 9AM, I sell the stuff at re-tail including Fossils that are already donated so far and check for turnip prices between the opening time and 12PM.

and Every 4PM-9AM, I fish for sharks, red snappers, barred knifejaws, napoleonfish, and coelacanth (if there's rain) to sell to make money fast.

I have 9.5 million bells and I go to the island once a day
filling up that basket with bugs and fishs. The island is the easiest way of making bells.

Well probably with that much money, you guys would've fully expanded the house that easily. The Estimate on full expansion house was around 7m Bells.

also not only those are the routines I do everyday, but also at 6PM, I go to the club 101 for the Jokes or Emotions from Dr. Shrunk, every saturday at 8PM, I get a K.K. Song as my Requested Song, and every sundays I usually check on Turnip Buying Prices and see how much I can buy Turnips for. The Catch about the Stalk Market is That the Price changes on mondays > Saturdays at 12AM and 12PM so the same price changes applies from City Folk.

Now I would normally Add you guys on my 3DS friend roster, but I normally use them as a opportunity to sell turnips if you guys have the turnip selling price at a high price in the Re-Tail Shop and the problem was that my wi-fi connection has been cut-off. Usually I stick to 2-3 Friends I play with the most, but mostly 1 Friend that I would play with.

That, and the pages about the villagers on that wikia tell you what personality type they have. I looked up Tangy, and it said her personality is Peppy.

Bree may be snooty in personality, but she and I get along really well. And she gets along pretty darn well to Dizzy, who's a lazy villager.

Willow for me is questionable. She doesn't seem as nice.

I finally got all the emotes! (Yes, I time travel) I noticed a few that you never get, sadly. Like the one Isabelle makes when you're setting an ordinance and she's discribing it, and the one people make when you do certain emotes like the "sneezing" one in front of them.

Pffft... Time travelling. lol

I finally got cherries for my town! I was doing a gardening tour at the island, and the trees had cherries on them. I was like "Must have! O:" so I picked 18.

So, now my town has
- Pears (native)
- Mangoes
- Durians
- Lemons
- Peaches
- Bananas
and will have cherries once I plant them and the saplings grow. :3
This is why I love the gardening tour. It's so easy to collect foreign fruit there. Plus, if you still have flowers leftover in your pockets when you fill the square, it lets you keep those flowers! Free flowers to plant in my town, yay!

I also now have 40 medals. Now I just need to wait until the shop at the island sells a wet suit, and I can finally buy one.

If you guys wanna be rich faster, all you have to do is post your turnip AM & PM prices here and then whoever has the highest turnip price, we can all go over to that town. You can Time Travel Back by using your 3DS' settings to get the price back however the turnips will spoil if you time travel back so you have to sell your turnips first. Usually like around wednesday and thursday, there's a chance of high turnip price so that's 1 thing I'd know about. If your Turnip Price drops and hasn't been increased all week, you're probably in for a steady decline. The Bell Boom ordiance doesn't affect the Turnip Prices so only Night Owl and Early Bird Ordiance can help you there.

Speaking of Fruits, I need Pears and Apples to have in my town and produce them.

Actually, you can't get cherries on the island. You must've seen lychees. They look a lot like cherries, but they are worth half as much as cherries. Cherries are in groups of two, and look cartoony. Lychees are in groups of three, look realistic, and have a little leaf.

100% completed Dark Moon though. Collected every single bit in the game along with the ScareScraper ghosts in the Multiplayer Mode. I still re-play it every now and then. But since that's now 100%-ed, I've been playing New Leaf a whole lot!

Bug Off starts at 9 a.m I believe.

I probably won't be able to play my 3DS at that time. Assuming I'll be swimming around that time. :/

It ends at 6 p.m, but even if you don't enter the Bug Off there will
still be winners.

Is the score pre-set for villagers? And isn't there a top score you have to beat?

I personally believe it is random.
When you start there will already be a score to beat.
But over time villagers can beat your score. Even if your score
is beat, you can still win second or third.
I think you should go to the island and get a Golden Stag.
You'll be judge on rarity and size, so try to catch a big one.

You told me I didn't need to catch any beforehand. :l

I just got 3 Golden Stags yesterday, sold for Bells.


I can't get another one until 6PM, since they stop spawning. >A<

I didn't check what my inventory said they were. :I I just checked, and they are lychees. Aw man. I really want cherries. I'm assuming cherry trees turn pink in the spring in this game just like in that on Animal Crossing game I played. That would be so cool!

I could kindly give you some cherries. And probably some Perfect Cherries that you can sell at Re-Tail for a bunch of Bells! ^-^

Note: Don't plant the perfect fruit of a fruit that is not native to your town. If you do, they'll only grow the regular trees, and selling a non-native is 3,000 Bells per perfect fruit. :]

Well Actually You can get a Perfect Fruit if you can buy Fertilizers if that is if your shop is upgraded and merged with the gardening shop.

I have to work on the expansions too, but I'm getting close to fully expanded house. That's the reason why I saved the Public Work Projects last as I unlock more of them from Villagers. I just need to get more fish to sell so that way I can repay the loan fast enough. Olive Flounder was my premium selling item for today, but I'm not gonna bother fishing them up so I'm just gonna go with the usual fish.

I still have 2 rooms. A fully expanded First-Floor and Stage 2-Expanded 2nd Floor.

My 1st-Floor Room has reached the limit of putting items in the room! lol

I really need to expand soon, but I won't do so until I reach 10,000,000 Bells! I'll expand slowly as I will actually plan out of what to put in the house, instead of having just nothingness. (And it's quite fun, as my house layout is always different and varied every time!


Sometimes I sell furniture I no longer want or need, in the flea-market space for double or near triple the amount Reese pays for it, and your villager may still actually buy it! (I only sell the ones I don't need that looks good, since villagers will display it in their fine homes later. If you want a villager to display something in their house that looks nice and fitting, trade it to them when they ask you or sell it.)

So, I'm having moments that would be great to record, like for a Let's Play, so I'm kinda sad that I can't record this.
I headed up to Re-Tail to sell some fruits, and Moe asked me to deliver something that Tangy left at his house. I said ok, went into Re-Tail, and I thought "Poppy, why are you still here?" When I went to talk to Reese, my character talked to Poppy instead. :/

In the Re-Tail, if you're selling something, you can push a villager toward that item, and if they notice, they might buy it. (Also the only place they can be pushed without getting mad or sad meaning, no loss in friendship)

Yeah, I tend to push them toward stupid things that I don't want to buy and things that I'm selling.

Also, yayyyy! I paid off my current house loan and my bridge public works project today! Tomorrow, my house will have a second floor!

Yes, I Time Travel. I hate waiting for store upgrades and unlocks. Some things take too long.

Also, I'm updating it again soon. It'll be much less empty.  And I got the golden exterior! I got the 1,100,000 mark in the HHA!

I don't do time travel unless it's for the turnip prices. That's the Main reason why I only time travel back for turnip prices also I don't make Promises putting up Fees for Selling Turnips and I made that kind of promise.

I dunno If you guys like the Pattern Designs I have, but That's the only Minimal Amount that I have. Like I said the Program that I used that can change images into Animal Crossing Designs wasn't Updated yet.

How did it happen? Surely the data should be in your SD card. You could've created a backup file to your SD card and then restore it back on the system. If You took out your SD card to upload pictures from the card reader, be sure to put the SD card back in. That's one of those mistakes I Made

Btw Guys, I had Crowns Available at my town's able shop, but they were worth over 1mil Bells.

There's actually badges for Turnips. I plan to get all the badges, so I'm gonna have to play the Stalk-Market for a while. You have to make Millions of Bells off turnips you want to get that Golden Badge.

I had Katie....and then my neighbor put my AC into his 3DS and messed up the time, setting it a year ahead and now she's gone before I ever even found her in my town.

And thanks to his dream town, I know what a perfect pear looks like. There are NO pictures of them online! All of the perfect fruits but pears have pics! However, I found Wendell the first time. I got his Jenzy T shirt!

I think that wendell has been removed from the game no? He only appeared the past 3 games, but I dunno if Wendell is in this game or not.

I think most of the perfect fruits have gold on them, but I could be wrong. Yeah, the perfect pears are completely golden.

Apparently, only town fruits can be perfect. Island fruits cannot.
Perfect cherries have a little gold on their edges.
A perfect peach is kind of golden.
A perfect apple is ruby red. o_O

I don't Charge anyone a Fee for such things such as Designs for bells and fruits and Turnips for Bells. There's a reason why, but I tend to follow it and made that promise not to do it.

No, perfect pears do look like that. My town's native fruit is pears, and the first time a pear tree in my town grew a perfect pear, it looked exactly like those ones.

Oh I thought they were spoiled. I had 1 perfect orange and sold it.

Feng Shui doesn't earn you that much points, but adding luck to your findings. The Furniture Set along with the Matching Wallpaper and Carpets can Earn you large amount of points so you wanna go with either a set or a theme.

Balloon Furniture Set can earn you enough points and they're easy to get.

I actually got the balloon set in my main room.
The only one left I need is the dresser and wallpaper for it.

The scavenger hunts at the island are an interesting way to see furniture that you can buy. I saw a big flat-screen TV, some cool Japanese furniture, and even some katanas.

I've found a bunch of the sleek furniture if you wanna try to connect to me.

NOTE: Disposing a rotten fruit to Reese will cost 400 Bells. Using a garbage can/recycling bin furniture can allow you to dispose of it for free!

Rotten things are the only way to catch ants. You can donate 'em to the museum.

I had quite a lucky day one day. More Bells from Bell Rocks, 200 Bells instead of 100 from trees, and Bees chased me slower (I still got stung once that day however).

The other day my neighbor came over and played my SD of AC and...
Each time it goes into his 3DS the time for the game is set 1 year and 2 months ahead. I told him to each time change the time to today's date.
He did not, so Katie is gone before I ever even found her.

I was kind of lucky today. A ton of trees dropped bells when I shook them. I collected over 1,000 bells from doing that. They were still only 100 bells from each tree, but still. I'm not sure what my lucky charm was. o.O I think the only different thing I had in my pocket was a pear that one of my villagers was eager to get rid of, but I kinda sold it after I collected all those bells.

Up to you to do that. It's your game, and you're the mayor. (Most importantly, it's your game. Being mayor doesn't have anything to do about demolition though, since the non-mayor player is the only one that can demolish their home.)

Occasionally a villager will ask the player to get 6 signatures from villagers in other towns to gain favor for an idea they have. If the player takes too long to fulfill the request, the villager says that they had to mail the list off already and so it was too late. This makes the petition form turn into a Paper Scrap, a trash item.

But if you complete the petition form, your friendship with that villager will increase, and like other requests from other villagers, you'll get a present from them.

The petition form is an item that cannot be dropped on the ground, put into storage, or sold.

I only deny that request if I have no access to Wi-Fi whatsoever. I find this a fun way with interacting with others' villagers. ^-^

FakeSmile and I had done this a couple times. Even with some errors, we still successfully complete the forms. We just message each other in-game to "Save" whenever a signature has been signed on the petition form, in case of errors.

Not only does that mean you remember the trick I told you from before, but your money luck that day was good.

it's because you have yellow colored furnitures on the left side of your rooms in your house so yeah, Yellow Items to the left side of the rooms in your house increases the money you find and the green furnitures on the south side of the rooms will increase the overall luck.

If wearing assigned Item after Katrina's Fortune Telling, then you'll have a better chance of finding more money.

Some Furnitures have a secondary color so you can put them at the corner for both colors. If you're using a re-make furniture such as using Green furniture by using emerald ore, those can count as green.

Well That's good Question, it depends on the size of the table you're looking for. If It's a part of the furniture set you're after, maybe some of us may have it on our catalogs.

If we can't get a good variety of items, it would be best to wait till we fully expand the T&T shop.

Which Rooms did you finish so far? I already finished my 1st floor's expansion so far and right now i'm working on 2nd Floor and then the basement. The basement is pretty much expensive as i know so that's why i'm saving it for last.

I have the first floor completely expanded. I have a tiny second floor that I haven't expanded, and now I'm getting an extra room to the left.

If you compare your SD Card to the 3DS or DS Cartridge, there's a huge amount of difference.

3DS/DS Carts are more like, say the NES or something. Just smaller. (Though, they do somewhat resemble SD Cards don't they? That's not what they are at all though.)

My house has 30K+ Points, just with the two rooms that I have.

I guess my Feng Shui is really helping.

I've got it set-up like, golden trophy to the west (counts as yellow) any plants to the south (green), ruby apple TV to East (red).

There's actually a specific area you gotta put your stuff in. There will be "empty" zones where the Feng Shui won't work.

Last time on my Past AC games, I had Regal and Exotic Sets on GCN AC, WW, I don't remember, but all i know is regal and modern, the rest was empty as far as i can remember. and CF, possibly Gracie Grace's Furniture Set which is the Gorgeous, Princess, and Gracie sets.

I'm hoping that i'll do that the same thing as the last game, the CF, but i have to pass the fashion check 4 times and have to wait for 1 month after remodel so aprox, 2 days after 1 month passed because the day before the remodel is the sale.

The area around my train station sometimes always gets cluttered with some amount of clothes and furniture. X3


I've sold quite some items already. But I'm having that problem again. I've got like, over 875,000 Bells-worth of perfect cherries harvested :I (That's like, 30~ baskets of 9 perfect cherries per basket)


Mmm... Maybe I'll finally expand my house so I make use of the items that I'll actually be using. Time to finally use that dusty-ol' "Repay Loan" option again after a long hiatus of savings!

You guys are aware that the game cartridges of DS and 3DS games are SD cards, right? :l

The 3DS has its own SD card, which is where it stores photos and other pictures. On the left side of your 3DS, you should see a thing that says "SD CARD". You can open it, and inside is an SD card. As in the kind you usually find in a digital camera.

I paid off my loan late last night, but Nook's was closed. *Sigh* I told him this morning that I want an extra room, so that'll be done tomorrow. Guess I'll wait.

Right now, my house is almost like a big storage place, though, the way I've set up my furniture. X3

I know that, I just was surprised by the fact he obviously downloaded it if it was on an SD card. Personally, I prefer physical copies for many reasons.

1. Some games are download only, and I'd need space. If I can get a physical copy, it's saving space. Especially since I have the ambassador games.

2. It's fun to look at my collection of DS games. A cartridge adds one more.

3. The cute picture on the cartridge, and the one on the case.

I didn't download the game, I own a physical copy. :l
Forget I said anything about the games being SD cards cause this is just getting stupid and it was pointless to begin with.

I honestly don't like downloading games without a account system. Its 2013 Nintendo, pick up the pace already.

When I updated my current dream vision for Blazeton, Luna told me that my Dream Address has changed...


Then later, I went to go on dreaming. I searched for Blazeton. There are actually 2 other Blazeton's than my own. There was an extra, and that was my town! o.O

Odd that it changed my Dream Address, and the old version is still out there. I was actually able to dream of my own town lol (Normally, you can't find your own town and name when you search for it, and Luna tells you she doesn't offer "local dreams to residents" inputting your current Dream Address)

The perfect cherries I had was still around the Town Tree. Same villagers, etc. All of them recognized me. Some who nickname me "Jenz" call me "Jenz" still, but when referencing 'their mayor', it's "Mayor Jenzy." I actually met... myself! :I

That Blazeton above will probably go away from the list soon. It's supposed to go away if not updated for a long time. I'm not sure if me being able to dream of my own town was a glitch or not, but that was pretty darn great! ovO

I'll cover that question,

You just Press L and R buttons to take a screenshot. If you want to upload those screenshots, you take out your SD card from your 3DS system and then put the SD card on the card reader and then plug in the card reader to your computer. They will be filed as DCIM or something like that. You'll see most of your screenshots on that folder, but be sure to set the view as thumbnails so you'll know where you put your screenshots at. All of your screenshots will be on the 3DS camera.

I meant up to here. And when you find an upload spot, you can skip half those steps by uploading from the 3DS. And my computer can't use SD cards.

I just caught a mosquito and then released it because it was relentlessly following me. I was afraid it was gonna bite me while I hit a rock that's hopefully the money rock.

I wish they would've made a tool section of the inventory, so tools go in another tab and we'd have our pockets section a lot more free for stuff we want to pick up.

Well before the Club LOL opens at 8AM, you can get the emotions from dr. shrunk as long as you bring him a fruit so somewhat between 4-7:59PM, he'll give you the emotions or jokes as he may say.

Yeah. That's really the only way. Screenshot, then take the SD Card and use the PC. BUT, you can use the 3DS's Internet Browser to post stuff as well. You need a photo-sharing site like Photobucket. Then, well, the [img]Image URL here[/img] thing. Easy as that.

2 scorpions appeared 2 days ago. I didn't get bit, and I didn't have my net :l

I should always drop my stuff at the beach instead of near the train station. lol

And, yeah. By afternoon means after 12PM. not 4PM. (Sometimes I give him perfect fruit or 3 fruit. His reaction is priceless when you give him a basket of fruit.)

lol that's like me. I spotted a tarantula when i came back from the main street and then I forgot my silver net and then I avoided it.

I really have to get a petaltail, Tarantula, and Scorpion before the end of the month and of course I have to do my fishing as well.

I'm NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER without ALL my tools. And I need the same bugs, and the red dragonfly. When's that one? And whenever there's a scorpion/tarantula, I fall prey or it takes too long to switch to my net.

I'm actually waiting for the next month to be able to catch some new bugs/fish.

i think the problem was that, you need to be a little far away from them and then arm yourself with a net when you see the tarantula and the scorpion. if you're armed yourself with a net, then they won't appear.

Nicknames by villagers? well i've been getting called by big guy, pop star, and cleats. maybe i should change the nickname and i know how because revealing the name comes first and then rejecting the name will make you pick out the nickname you want.

The reason I leave my tools and stuff from my pockets is that, if it's stuffed and I return from the island, there's barely any space to bring the Sharks and Beetles that I've caught from the island to Re-Tail right away. x3

I'm starting to go with bringing at least my silver net and an extra space with all the sharks and beetles I can carry at a time.


I never know when they spawn... (I think villagers warn you about any tarantulas or scorpions in the area, but none ever told me about 'em since they probably just drown themselves in the river before I could even see them)

This is the highlight of my day.

I decided to try out customizing furniture earlier today, and I added blue to my regal bed. It looks pretty nice. :3 I'm glad I didn't go with red because that would've come out pink.

There really needs to be a good database for what the different colors of furniture look like, though. This kind of guesswork is kind of scary sometimes. >.<

I made decide going with gracie grace furniture set just like city folk, but i have to pass the fashion check 4 times first before i get that also it would cost me a lot of money for the whole set.

Wow, I didn't even know that real paintings can be bought from the villagers. That's a 1st that I bought one off from my villager like around 1-7k bells range.

I don't like how Cyrus only tells you the colors, nor even showing what the item may look like with a design on it, but I like a neat surprise.

I gotta know what the item looks like first, so I sometimes put it on the Flea-Market space just to see it, and then check Cyrus to see what he thinks about it.

I've trusted Agnes for a while. Got me 2 real paintings for around 1K. My 3rd was sadly a fake, but at least I didn't have to pay 3K+ (she usually says a 4K price first, then when I say no, she lowers it ^-^)

I won't buy any 3K+ from any villager though. I'm OK with checking closely in Redd's tent for his "low" price of 3K. No risk of getting a fake (as long as you know what flaw is).

Redd's here today. His only genuine was a painting I already got last time, so he ain't takin' any money from me!

well you have to wait till winter and spring to finish the fishing encylopedia, but of course that would involve the fishing competition for a gold fishing rod so it'll take longer than that to get to the fishing competition.

as for the fake paintings and statues, I know what they are because I usually zoom in and find out which paintings are fake and real. If i bought one off from a villager, then I would just go to my house, and place the painting down on the floor and see if the painting is real or fake. if it's fake, then i would've wasted amount of money that i paid for the painting from the villager and trashed it.

Any Tarantula and Scorpion Catching tips? I'm just trying to get these 2 insects, but it doesn't seem like that they appear around their time slot range and of course i never had net equipped so that's one thing I know about

All I can say is just wander around and 1 will spawn sooner or later (Lots of patience for this part). When you do find one, get your net out of their range of sight and slowly walk up to them. When the bug gets in a defensive pose, get ready to press A either when you're close enough or when they start charging at you.

Not sure if it's fool proof, but that's what I did and now I got both of them fighting around in my museum.

I'm afraid that doesn't work. Apparently when you're inviting someone or go to someone else's towns, Bees, Scorpions, and Tarantulas don't spawn and you can't donate to the museum under that conditions. That's 1 thing I learned about since Wild World and The Previous Game, City Folk.

You pretty much plant the flowers next to each other, and they might spawn a hybrid (mixed) color flower. Or they'll just spawn a flower that's the same color as one of the flowers.

So, red and yellow roses next to each other makes orange roses. Red and white makes pink roses, probably. I think, apparently, purple and yellow violets make white violets.

Last time I checked, it was impossible to carry that much at once. How do you buy it? Even if you have enough?

Well There's a Money Limit in your pockets so you can carry the maximum of 99k Bells in Bags and you carry up to maximum of 1683000 bells i believe or if i may calculated correctly.

So basically put bags of bells in your inventory?

yeah so when you're over the limit, they'll become pouches and 99k bells will go towards to your pockets.

After putting it off for a few weeks, I finally got it.
Though Tom Nook dominated my life for two weeks and made it a living virtual hell on Wild World and now I'm having second thoughts. ;_;

I'm Starting to find that steady decline is one of my worst possible stalk marketing even though I'm still playing a gambling game on the stalk market and the reason why the steady decline is one of the worst possible predictions on the turnip prices was that if you're trying to aim for a high turnip price throughout the week, you'll never know when you'll have a steady decline.

what does steady decline mean? it's kind of like this, if your turnip price hasn't been increasing throughout the week and decreases the price, that's a steady decline

Don't count on buying a crown that easily. It can be sold at able's shop at a random day so you have to check often.

Funny, Coco's one of my least favorite of my villagers and I don't really like my tan at all. It keeps getting darker.
Just stand out in the sun for 4 hours and you'll tan darkly.
(By the way I like Coco but not as much as the others.)

I turned on my 3ds strictly at 6:59 (lucky) and started to epically fail with my fireworks.

You can try to prevent tanning by equipping an umbrella whenever you're not using a tool. My tan level has actually gone down since I started carrying an umbrella.

I've actually lost a lot of my tan, but I still got a bit.

You can get tanned between, and has to be between the 16th of July and the 15th of September.


To prevent a tan, wearing a wide-brimmed hat can actually prevent it. Or bring an umbrella with you.

I never leave the house without my umbrella. And I only visit the Island after 5PM.

Checking Turnip Prices is important for most of us are doing the stalk market. If you don't have turnips, it's ok because obviously if one of us in here has the high turnip price, that would be fine.

3. It's probably the same with grass wearing out. Your tan might appear when you next load your game again.

Not really. I've seen quite a few people have a high turnip price, but if you're playing a gambling game by not using wi-fi, then there's a chance you'll earn more money.

I think I'm getting Shampoodle. The Able Sisters shop is surrounded by the construction thing, but I can go inside their shop. Does that mean Shampoodle is being built?

"Shampoodle is unlocked after you spend a total of 10,000 bells between Kicks and/or Able Sisters, and Kicks must have been open for at least 7 days. Then, Shampoodle will open above Able Sisters."

I'm not sure how many days I've had Kicks. A week, I guess.

No idea what to do with the back room though, right now I'm just keeping my sharks in there.

HHA doesn't rate your basement. it can only be used for storage as i know about.

I'm planning on using gracie grace furniture sets like I did on City Folk, but I have to figure out how am i suppose to fit it all in.

What's the point of badges?

Badges are basically achievements or accomplishments. You don't have to earn them, but for a game that does not have a true ending, this isn't just bragging rights. It's like "100% completion."

Of course, you should still promise to take care of your town, even if you earn all your badges.

Time Traveling is basically sleeping in a lot. Ignored villagers will move away, and your town may grow lots of weeds.

Oh. Another hard badge to get is the Weed Pulling Badges. You have to pull A LOT of weeds. What's a lot? The first badge is pulling 500 Weeds! :I

My town is usually clean. I barely get any weeds to pull, like, at all! I'm not gonna give up my beautiful ordinance, so for me, that badge could wait a long time, unless you invite me over to help you a bit with your weed infestation problems. (Clovers and dandelions count as weeds, but are harmless to town. I normally only get to pull clovers that don't spawn 4-leaf clovers)

Oh yeah. How do you end up with people's homes showing up at the HHA? o.O I'm not sure how that works. I think there are like five homes there, but as far as I know, I haven't streetpassed anyone, and none of them are on my friends list.

The Happy Home Academy can receive others' homes via SpotPass. Either it's a random player (I think) or Nintendo's staff like Reggie.

How does trash gain sentience when immersed in water?

If you have your own Trash Can inside the House, that would work. I know getting a Trash Can as a Public Work Projects can be hard to get, but you can unlock it depending on the villager's personality.

For me, I would just dump the empty can, boot, and tires in the trash can at my house.

If you don't have your own trash can, maybe some of the villagers have them inside their houses, but you can only use if they're inside their houses or invited you to their houses at a right time or the designated time you set.

*Facehoof* The Nooklings shop sold a trash can several days ago, but I didn't buy it. I should've.

Also... I can't seem to design a shirt without the design repeating on the shoulders and it really kills my designs, but I've seen some on Tumblr that aren't like that, and even have QR codes to give to others. What am I doing wrong? X3

Here is a short guide on how to get pictures off your 3DS. :)

Once you've taken the SD card out of the 3DS, you need to insert it into an SD card reader.  I have an external card reader that connects via USB, but many computers now come with built-in card readers.  When you've inserted the SD card into the reader, it will show up on your computer.  Navigate to the folder named DCIM.  This is where the 3DS stores all of its videos and photos.  In the DCIM folder, you'll see one or more folders named something like 100NIN03, 101NIN03, etc.

You have to be extremely careful with your turnip prices. if they drop, it would be the time to sell your turnip prices. for any time extensions, i may recommend setting the ordiance to early bird. Time Traveling back will spoil the turnips if it's not yet sold.

Trege's town has cherries! I gave him some pears, peaches, and oranges, and he gave me some cherries. ovO

I don't get the chart though. How do we know if we're into a spike or not? we all know how steady decline works out.

This is what i know from the guide.

1. Rollercoaster - the prices go up and down without any predictability of direction or amount. Prices can range anywhere from 30 bells to 151 bells. If your Monday AM price is higher than your Sunday price from Joan or it is higher than 100 bells, you are going to experience a rollercoaster week.

2. Steady Decline - The price falls 1 - 5 bells each time & never increases all week.

3. Spike - The price falls 1 - 5 bells each time until Wednesday or Thursday (can be as early as Tuesday or as late as Friday) when it starts to rise. Normally there will be 3 rises in the price before the highest price (the spike) occurs. Spikes can be one of three types:

3a. Low Spike - the price after the first rise either doesn't go up much or it goes down. The price usually doesn't go over 200, but it is possible for it to get to just under 300. Sell on the 3rd price after the first rise. If the price rise starts on Thursday AM, sell on Friday PM. It is possible for the spike to happen on the 3rd rise as well. It is possible if the first rise is on Thursday AM then your spike can be on Friday AM. Bottom Line: If your price is over 180 during a low spike week, that'll be the spike.

3b. Medium Spike - the price rises 3 times in a row. The high price will be somewhere between 300 & 500. Sell on the 2nd price after the rise starts. If the rise starts on Thursday AM, sell on Friday AM.

3c. High spike - the price rises 3 times in a row. The high price will be at least 500. Sell on the 2nd price after the rise starts. If the rise starts on Thursday AM, sell on Friday AM.

Well I hope you got a police station. You can't even tell if Gracie comes to your town or not while your nookling shop is at T.I.Y and yeah, it's true that she's likely to be at the event plaza.

How do you get a police station? I really want one.

Well It has to be suggest by a villager of any type of personality. Once you unlock that, you'll have a choice of building classic or modern. After It's built, it can't be demolished and you can't have both police stations at once.

Funny thing is, just a few minutes ago, a villager came up to me and asked for a police station. lol Yayyy!

I actually have a few screenshots from the game, since I am unable to connect to anybody on ACNL due to Nintendo claiming it's just my router despite being able to connect to people who I can't connect to on ACNL on other games I take them to show people to let them see my town until I get a dream suite.

I think you have to use a golden shovel to do it, right? But in this game, you can't get a golden shovel by just burying a shovel. :\

Gold shovel in New Leaf:
Once the main store is fully upgraded, you can buy fertilizer. Buy one every day until you've bought 50. He will give you a gold shovel.

I bought the Prima Official Game Guide for ACNL.
Its really neat and pretty accurate. Tells you
all the Public Projects and cost, Villagers Information,
all the items, ect.

I wouldn't go for money tree if i were you guys. Apparently it's the same rule applied from WW and CF. There's a chance that the amount of money you will put will be all or nothing. That's the reason why I rely on silver shovel the most ever since I used it back in CF.

Yeah, it's probably better to try to get a silver shovel. You can use that on the money rock to try to get ores instead of bells. There's a chance you'll get silver and gold nuggets out of it.

Uh, yeah! I already told you guys about the Silver Shovel a few posts back. :l

Choose carefully if you have a specific character or style you like. As well as location. You cannot demolish the Police Station to switch guards/area.


The Police Station also has a 'Lost & Found'. You can sell the items there for extra bells (or keep whatever catches your attention).

Well I Did say that before how useful the silver shovel is since my days at city folk before it got deleted and had my wii repaired. That's why the silver shovel is most reliable tool in the game to make money fast.

Speaking of the police station, i got a tricky pitfall seed inside my police station and i wondered and asked myself, what is this tricky pitfall seed?

I've discovered that you're only allowed to order 5 items per day from the HH Showcase. :c I got 100,000 bells today, and I went there to get a trash bin and ended up on a shopping spree.
Well, anyway, can't wait for the trash bin to come in the mail tomorrow so I can finally throw away my firework thingies without having to pay 100 something bells each. I'm also gonna throw away my pitfall seeds and my boot.

Word of advice, best way to catch a fly is to leave an old boot on the ground if you catch one when you go fishing.
I'm keeping my rotten peach, though. Ants keep coming back to it, and all I have to do is catch one, walk away, turn around, go back, catch another, etc. ovO

Saving inventory space. I just carry my watering can, shovel, net, and silver slingshot, and I'm too lazy to go all the way into my house, open a container, and get the tools I wanna use. Plus, I harvested my fruit yesterday, which fills up your inventory pretty fast when you have several different kinds of fruit in your town.

Cierra came over to visit town today! And luckily, absolutely no Connection Errors! :D (Except the first couple attempts trying to get to town)

Julius could've joined us, but sadly, he couldn't come in to join the fun because of an "error" preventing him from visiting. It's odd, but I guess the Internet only wanted 1 visitor with a secure connection.


After roamin' around Blazeton, we decided to have a challenge of who could catch the most fish combined with bugs within 10 Minutes (using a timer). We bet 5,000 Bells to who would win.


...Cierra won fair-and-square with 16 total catches! I was only able to catch 15 (was about to catch a cicada at the remaining time, but it didn't count and the cicada flew away)... So close!

T'was a nice game. It would be much funner with more people being able to come over and visit! Quite fun using the Timer for games/challenges such as that, without having to go on official tours. Just good ol' town fun with our own rules. ^-^

I was at my grandparents' house, and the best internet ever is there. So...

I'm running low on time to catch a tarantula and petaltail, but i'm not even sure how to spawn it since the spawn rate is like 1% including the scorpion too.

I'm pretty much getting close to getting T&T Emporium however I still need to pass gracie's fashion check 3 more times. By the time the day passed when the upgrade shop started, I have to wait additional day for the upgrade to take effect after passing the gracie's fashion check.

2nd Day of a perfect town! Wha-ho! Rather surprised me after I sold 7,500/10,000 turnips to Cierra's and put away my items in the locker.

It suddenly went from "this place feels like a landfill" to "best town ever!"


I thought my town was still a bit barren with PWPs or trees, but I'll take it from the tourists! B)

Something I'd imagine if Time Travelling was noticed like Resetting. Instead of Resetti, it would be "The Doc." The Doc is a rabbit. Two references in his character.

So, basically, what I just did to pay off the last 41,000ish bells of the police station PWP is...
I went to the island, chose to go do the easy gardening tour, and completely ignored the flowers. All I did was run around, collecting fruit, over and over.

It's not like I need the medals right now anyway. I have 102. :P And the only thing I want to buy from the island right now is a silver axe.

Already at 300+ Medals. Already got my badge for earning that many long ago. ^-^

So, hours ago, I was talking about island tours and collecting fruit, right?
I was collecting fruit to sell to pay for the museum renovation. In mere hours, I got the needed amount from 198,000 down to about 47,000ish. When I got back to town with my final batch of fruit, Re-Tail was closed, so um...

That's pretty much how many baskets the box at the island can hold.
By collecting and selling stacks upon stacks of fruit obtained from island tours, I will pay off a public works project in, basically, a day. Technically, less than a day.

What I did was, after a while, I got tired of actually doing the tours and collecting a little fruit at a time, so I started completely ignoring the goals of the tours and spending the entire time just collecting as much fruit as I could. Just like a few days ago.
Though, I did kind of participate in the easy hide and seek tour, but hey, I had eight whole minutes. Why not?

Gold Ores are pretty much rare, but if you have the silver shovel, that will help you increase your chances however the proc rate of getting the ores from the magic rock can be low.

Probably to make it a lot easier to see what's in the area.

Just gotta keep your eyes open and focused on any suspicious things crawling around. Definitely a challenge when you're trying to look for one going in a "forest-y" part of town. There's no telling when the scorpion or tarantula will chase you or having mis-aimed your net by a tad.

The best time to be looking for them starts at 7PM where it's still a bit light out...

I think i know how to find a tarantula and a scorpion. When I keep coming back from the main street, usually I can hear the movement sounds coming from one of them and then look around in front of it. if it's behind the trees, then it's hard to tell where they are.

I'm not sure if de-foresting and removing flowers will increase those chances.

Today was a fine day, woke up in the morning, had breakfast, all was good. I played some New Leaf but my shops were closed, still I watered my flowers and all. I wasn't planning on playing much today, I wanted to take the time to be productive and have fun! 0:)

After a while, I was ready for a nap but my shops were open so I decided to take a quick look. :ajshifty:

This was in the morning. It's nine in the evening now and I am the proud owner of a King's crown that cost me little over a million bells. So much for a productive day. lol

But hey, I'm King Julius "The Napivore", I had to. :]

you have to know the shop business hours. they're all opened at 9-10AM, but if you set the early bird ordiance, then your shops will be opened at 6AM.

if you have T&T's shop upgraded, the business hours will change.

Oh I know the times very well, I was just pointing out how a casual day turned into a massive bell hunting quest. :P

When I get the fountain, I'm gonna put it in front of Town Hall. Every town hall needs a lovely fountain in front for some class.

When I finally get the silver axe, I'm gonna become a stump maker. ovO I need it to cut down trees and have special design stumps to grow mushrooms! After that, I'm gonna make sure to plant more trees to replace the ones I've chopped down. I may or may not remove my old regular stumps. I dunno yet. My villagers seem to like them. But maybe that's because my town doesn't have any benches yet, so the closest thing they have is stumps.

I actually did that on my town which is putting the fountain in front of the town hall although it was slightly to the right of the entrance.

I'll upload the pictures later. I don't know what happened to my card reader and i usually put it in my desk and don't remember where i put it.

I usually use my 3DS browser and upload my screenshots to an album I made on Facebook. X3 That's why mine have been coming out lower quality. Facebook changes images to jpegs, sadly. But I can't be bothered to put my SD card in my slowww slowww dopey netbook and upload them all to Photobucket. Maybe if/when I get a laptop this Christmas.

A bug that has eluded me a couple times now. They're found in rocks. Their AI seems to be to flee to anywhere they can magically vanish. For me, that means that one of them jumped in a river, and the other went behind a tree and disappeared.

Wow. I just got my 1st fail catch on the scorpion. I think that I didn't align myself with it to make a catch.

Here's what happened. I went on slow-mo and then wait for it to get close and then when i swung my net on it, it got me and went back to my house.

FINALLY CAUGHT A SCORPION!!

And on my 2nd try earlier in the morning!

If you leave any of the two alone for long enough, they'll just disappear. They'll ignore you when you don't have your net. I was just too close to them the first attempt. I would've fainted! :I (And Redd's tent was kinda in the way...)

My second was going into the café and out (may spawn a critter if you go in-out a building)

I just walked slowly, holding up my net. And stopping when it turned. Finally got close enough and... BOOM! :D

Now to go find that blasted tarantula...

So, I think I've found the best trick to get all 16,100 bells from the money rock. I pretty much get set up, put my 3DS on my desk, and then start mashing A as fast as I can. I put my 3DS on the desk because I can mash A faster that way.

Wearing 1 Part of that theme won't be enough to pass the fashion check so you have to wear more than 1 part of that theme. Taking off the clothes, accessory, hat, shoes, pants, and socks won't let you pass the fashion check.

also as for the magic rock, There's a trick to that. It might be best to make 1-2 holes by the corner and then hit A as fast as you can. If there's a river near it, just stand between the river and the rock and then Press A as fast as you can.

And according to that fashion check guide I posted, there are even some themes that conflict with other themes. Like, if she asks for a Sporty look. If you're wearing anything that's Official themed, it'll fail you because Official theme conflicts with Sporty theme. Official and Basic conflict with Rock 'n Roll.
The guide has a chart that shows which ones conflict with which.

That was actually my sister's idea. She passed it down to me, then I passed it down to you.

I just normally use the corners and Rivers so I don't have to dig 3 holes behind me whenever I find a Magic Rock. If there's like a Tree or a pond near the rock, I normally Dig 1 hole on the corner.

You get more than 16,100 bells from the magic rock depending on how many yellow and green furnitures you placed in your house. Yellow for more money you find and Green to increase overall luck. If you have Green Table, you can place in yellow furnitures on top of the green table if that helps enough.

I wanna do some feng shui, but I'm running out of storage room, and the way my furniture is currently placed is just semi-good-looking storage. It's a mess! I hope once I expand my house more, I can get all of this under control and do more actual design and feng shui. Still, I somehow got more than 30,000 HHA points.

When I've heard of Feng Shui, then re-searched how it works, I've stuck to that plan like... forever!

Apparently, it's only the Main Room on the 1st Floor that counts it. And boy, does it help A LOT! :D (And even with no specific theme, it makes the room look lively and colorful)


An example: I turned my Watermelon Table's melon color from red to yellow, thanks to Cyrus. Then I put a tea set (green/yellow), Coin (yellow), Jacob's ladder (not sure if it really counts, green/white), and a 1-UP Mushroom (green).

I'm just sticking to the Furniture Sets first so I can get most of the HHA rewards. If I were to get most of the Golden Furniture Set, Then I would be getting most of the points off from that set.

Back At City Folk, Most of my Furniture sets were from gracie grace after I made a lot of money by selling turnips from another town, but I'm hoping that i'll do it again in this game If i can get my wi-fi going on again.

Skye finally moved into my town, I got her from the campsite earlier this week. Almost all of my town is females only three that aren't are Rowan, Pietro, and Avery. I really wish Maelle will move out tho, I really need her out of my town so I can get someone better to replace her.

Well Here's my Advice. If you still don't have T&T Emporium yet, try to keep the clothes of each theme in case you need to pass gracie's fashion check. Try to sell some things that you don't use. If you're keeping the nintendo Items, then Keep them in the storage.

Here's an idea I used:
Extra storage file.

I would just get rid of some of the clothes in the storage after passing gracie's fashion check 4 times and get T&T Emporium.

Has anyone else noticed that Phyllis isn't as mean as she used to be? I remember she was a total jerk in the GameCube version, especially when you read her thoughts.

This is kind of weird and annoying. When I search my location to find a Nintendo Zone, it shows places marked 2, 4, and 6, but I don't see anywhere marked 1, 3, or 5.
2 is a McDonald's.
4 is a McDonald's.
6 is an AT&T store, I think.
Oh yeah. I remember the last time I searched for Nintendo Zones. The majority of the ones in my town are McDonald's. Guess that's what I get for living in a town that has a ton of fast food places.

Well, I wonder why i'm getting bamboo shoots now. Guess fall is coming quickly! ;)

If you guys are limited when it comes to a Nintendo Zone, you too can have your own at home, it's pretty simple.

All you have to do is change your Router's name to "attwifi" and make it open (That means no password), get your items from the post office and save the game, then reconfigure your router back the way it was (Assuming you had a password beforehand, if not you can leave it as attwifi, but you should be using a password). Simple and clean. 0:)
