I got pulled over for my inspection sticker being 4 months expired. 

The cop asked to see my registration and proof of insurance.

Oh no, I don't have my current insurance card on me.

Uh oh, I can't find my registration!? (turns out I had it, but couldn't find it in the mess of my glove box)

Expired inspection sticker, no registration, no proof of insurance. Okay, better brace myself for several hundred dollars in tickets. 

Officer: Okay, this one's on me. I'll cut you slack this time, just get your stuff in order and don't let me catch you like this again.

Wow I lucked out. All that fail and not one single ticket. Thanks, officer!
