Message of the Week:  How should we handle RolePlaying?  I'm not against our members having fun, but I'd like to gather everyones opinion on the matter.

Since I haven't experienced any I can't really see the exact picture here, but I'm sure that I will after the upcoming weekend.

Hm...You've given me a thought, Naura.
This test doesn't have to be only for the game, it can also be a test of the herd.
We can see for ourselves what changes or stays.  I know the majority of our group doesn't seem to mind in-game RP, but also seems indifferent.
So I guess we'll see.

Message of the Week:
I've been thinking of changing the names of the ranks.  They're rather drab, in my opinion.
I don't have many ideas, but I was thinking of separate names for the final rank depending on your gender.
Dawn Captain if you're male, like myself.  Or Grand Phoenix if you're female.
I won't be around forever, and I'm sure there will be other leaders in the future.

Anyway, does anyone have ideas for rank name changes?  You're all in this group, and you should have a say over it.

MotW Addendum:  I've been looking at the other herds, and I've noticed that most don't use a rank system.  Rather, they use a kind of job system. 
Everyone has a place or task in the herd that is no less important than any other, and I like that.

I have ideas about how to make positions in the herd better, such as dividing ranks via race.
So Stanwixbuster would be Pegasus First Lieutenant.  Stan would be leading the pegasi of the herd.
Ramisha (Forest Wyvern) would be Earth Pony First Lieutenant, acting the same as Stan, but for the Earth Ponies.
Then the Second Lieutenants would be directly under the Firsts, acting more like specialists, or replacements if the Firsts are absent.
Example:  ChibiGrrl (Sweet Hoof) would be a direct advisor and almost equal of sorts to Ramisha, specializing in exploration rather than artistry.  She would also act as a replacement in the event that Ram is absent.

From there, everything is flat ground depending on your talent or desired position.
Example:  Checkmate would be the Tactics Officer, Howitzer would be the Field Medic, and so on.
