Kingdom Hearts: The Key to Harmony

Discord paced across the floor of his room in the Celestial Plane, deep in thought. It had been nearly a year since Fluttershy had successfully rehabilitated him, yet there was still something off about him; something dark. Not that he noticed anything, after all, all chaos comes with darkness. His thoughts at the moment were focused on the starry night sky, or what was left of it, since the stars were blinking out. The phenomenon began approximately one week ago, when Princess Luna was tending to the night sky as always. At first it seemed that the star was merely shining brighter than usual, until it suddenly blinked out of existence. It slowly picked up pace as the stars began blinking out in larger groups. Thankfully, nopony except for Luna, Celestia and Discord had noticed. The Lord of Chaos came to halt, detecting something behind him.

"Come out where I can see you. I know you're there, Seeker of Darkness"

The air condensed into darkness as a portal came into existence directly behind him. From the portal came a man clad in a black cloak. He was tall, with long hair in a pony tail, a scar going over his left eye with an eye patch covering the dead eye.

"Not quite."

Discord turned around and regarded his visitor in amusement.

"Ahh, Braig! Good to see you again! I take it you're here to enjoy some chaos?"

"As if. I'm here to take you back to base. Even if it means I have to turn you into a nobody to do it."

"Try if you must, but you won't leave here with me, after all, you're in my domain now."

Discord's room began to distort and change into an impossibly huge maze.

"Hmph, enjoy your victory for now, serpent, but I will get you someday."

With that, the dark portal reappeared, swallowing Braig in darkness. Discord simply snapped his talons, and returned the room to normal.

"It would appear that Equestria is in danger. I suppose its time we got ourselves a Keyblade wielder. Good thing I know just the pony!"

Midnight Aurora/Crystal Empire/Nighttime

A Beautiful mare is flying around to night lost in thought.
[shadow=navy,left]So moon, what do you think? Is Luna's night hurting again tonight?[/shadow]
She is looking to the sky again watching as another star winked out.
[shadow=navy,left]So the night hurts again as another is lost. Lady Luna must be upset with the loss of yet another of her beautiful stars. I hope the midnight train is still at the station. I need to get this crystal to Twilight Sparkle so hopefully she can tell me what it is.[/shadow]
She holds in one hoof a crystal that she found near her four nights ago when she started to have nightmares about beings calling for help and then vanishing. Each time it happened a star would wink out. She turns towards the crystal empire's train station hoping to catch the midnight express to Ponyville and Canterlot.
[shadow=navy,left]Ok Aurora, time to see what your new friend is.[/shadow]
She lands seeing the train is there. She goes to the ticket counter and purchases a ticket to Ponyville. She then gets on board the train just as it is about to leave. As the train heads to Ponyville, she watches the stars some more lost in her thoughts again. As she is watching the stars, one starts shine uniquely brighter then the others and she is engulfed is a strange light.
[glow=red,2,300]Do you want to help the night shine brightly again, Aurora?[/glow]
[shadow=navy,left]Hugh... Where am I? Yes...I do. How can a lowly Pegasus like me help Luna's Night?[/shadow]
[glow=red,2,300]Take your power in hoof and show the night you care. A darkness will soon come to your world and you will need to be prepared.What will you keep? What will you give up?[/glow]
[shadow=navy,left]My power? ok...[/shadow]
Aurora can now see where she is. she stands on a stain glass window with her in it's center and others in circles around her. Twin keys cross in its background. Before aurora on this stain glass platform are three alters: one with the sun, one with the moon and one with a star. (The three alters for KH awakening of power: sun = magic wand, moon = sword and star = shield)
Aurora goes to moon and says, [shadow=navy,left]Hope I am doing this right. I keep the moon.[/shadow]
The Moon vanishes. [glow=red,2,300]The Moon a mighty weapon in the night it's light shine brightest at it's apex. You gain power. What will you give up for this power?[/glow]
Aurora goes to the sun and says [shadow=navy,left]I hope Celestia won't be upset with me for this. I give up the sun.[/shadow]
The remaining alter as well as the sun vanishes. [glow=red,2,300]The sun mighty light of day. and to strong magic it held. You give up magic. Now go forth and prove your power.[/glow]
Aurora gains power and losses magic. a door appears at the edge of the platform. She heads to the door and goes through it ready for anything. once she is through she quickly finds herself surrounded by shadow like creatures and with no moon showing she can't use her lunar reflection.
[glow=red,2,300]Give your power form and show the night your courage.[/glow]
Aurora closes her eyes and focuses her will. A flash and the shadows begin to atk. When she opens her eyes twin blades are in each hoof they look to be keys of some sort but she feels as if she knows them.
(Now enters moonlight and moonshadow her keyblades)

((Please ignore oathkeeper. I am only using ultima and oblivion for looks. Ultima = moonlight and Oblivion = moonshadow))

She takes blades in hoof and fights with all her might and speed finally defeating the shadows.
[glow=red,2,300]You have shown your power and are ready. Good luck and may the night shine brightly for you again.[/glow]
Aurora wakes as if she was dreaming but low and behold next to her are two keyblades moonlight and moonshadow. She has arrived in Ponyville and she realized it is morning and she fell asleep on the train.
[shadow=navy,left]Ok now......What are these blades? Hmmm....more for me to ask twilight.[/shadow]
She gets off the just having arrived train and heads to the library where twilight stays. She walks through the town of Ponyville with the new blades on her back not knowing if anypony else sees them. She come to a stop at sugar cube corner to have a bite to eat. then heads on the the library. When she gets there she knows it is still early for the library to be open but hopefully twilight would help her with these blades and the crystal. She knocks on the door.
[shadow=navy,left]Hello?! Twilight I need your help with something. Please be awake.[/shadow]

Blob lies on the ground, staring up at the starry night sky. He knew they were giant balls of gas billions of miles away. or were they? Blob had wondered this before. what if they weren't gas, what if they were more? but he still lied there. It was getting late, so he stood up. he wasn't on the grass he felt on his skin a second ago. instead, it was a glass pillar, with a mural of him and others on it. he didn't know most of the ones that were on there, but he felt as if he had a bond with them. he looked up to the sky, and the stars were gone, just blackness everywhere. Blob then heard a voice. So much to do, so little time. take your time, don't be afraid. the door is still shut. now step forward, Can you do it? Blob does as instructed. he goes to the center. He had no idea what was happening, but he did it. on three pedestals that appeared, there was three very familiar items. On the left was a Fire Flower, representing magic. in the center, was the master sword, representing power. and on the right, was a Varia suit helmet, representing defense. power sleeps within you. if you give it form... it will give you strength. Choose well. Blob went to the magic, but changed his mind. he grabbed the sword, and then stood. The power of the warrior, invincible courage, A sword of terrible destruction. is this the power you seek? Blob nodded his head to say yes. the sword disappeared. Your path is set. now what will you give up in exchange? he went to the helmet. Power of the guardian, Kindness to aid friends, A shield to repel all. Do you give up this power? Again, Blob nodded his head. the helmet disappeared You've chosen the power of the warrior. you've given up the power of the guardian. is this the form you choose? Blob nodded his head once again. the ground collapsed around him, and  when he landed, the master sword was in his mouth. All right you've got it Black things with antennae appeared. Blob had no choice but to attack. as he approached them, they attacked him, so he had made the correct choice. Blob defeated them, and more came. he defeated those, and sunk into darkness. he awoke on another pillar, with a door. How many of these are there! he went through the door, and his sword changed to a keyblade

he expected for a boss fight, but woke up in the grass, though it was day now. he got up, and wondered if it was all a dream.

Night had fallen over Equestria, in particular, the Ponyville library, home of the local bookworm Twilight Sparkle, sleeping peacefully. Her dreams, however were far from peaceful. The dream started out peaceful enough; she was standing on a stained glass floor, depicting her cutie mark, a purple six-pointed star surrounded by six smaller white stars. Surrounding Twilight's cutie mark, were the cutie marks of the other five bearers of the Elements of Harmony.

A voice, sounding oddly familiar suddenly spoke up. "So much to do, so little time... Take your time. Don't be afraid. The way is still shut. Now, step forward. Can you do it?"

Twilight looked around for the source of the voice, utterly confused as to what was going on. Shakily, she took a few steps forward. Suddenly there was a rumbling, grinding sound to her right. A square pedestal rose up from the glass floor, and with a flash of light, a six-pointed star, much like Twilight's cutie mark appeared above it.

"Power sleeps with you"

Another pedestal rose to Twilight's left, and with another flash, a golden sun appears above it.

"If you give it form"

A final pedestal rises directly in front of Twilight, and with one final flash, a full moon appears above it.

"It will give you strength. Choose well."

Twilight took a step towards the golden sun, immediately recognizing it as Princess Celestia's cutie mark.

"I choose the power of Celestia's great sun," Twilight proclaimed.

"The power of the sun. Inner strength. A power of wonder and ruin. Is this the power you seek?"

"Yes."

The sun above the pedestal winked out of existence in a flash of light.

"Your path is set. Now what will you give up in exchange?"

Twilight looked over the two choices set before her. On the right was the moon, while on the left was the star.

"The star" Twilight said under her breath.

"The power of the star. Kindness to protect friends. A shield to repel all. You give up this power?"

"NO!" Twilight turned her gaze upon the full moon. "I wish to give up the moon."

"The power of the moon. Invincible courage. A power of terrible destruction. You give up this power?"

"Yes"

Another flash of light engulfed the symbol of the moon.

"You've chosen the power of the sun. You've given up the power of the moon. Is this the form you choose?"

"Yes."

Twilight immediately regreted her answer, as the floor around her shattered, alowing her body to fall into the pit below. As she fell, Twilight began to notice another floor rapidly approaching her. As she braced for impact, she landed softly on her hooves. Suddenly, a staff appears beside her. Twilight takes the staff in her telekinesis and gives an experimental swing.

"You now have the power to defend yourself against the dark," spoke the mysterious voice. "There will be times you will need to fight."

With that a dark creature, vaugley resembling a pony rises from the floor. It then procedes to lunge at Twilight, who instinctivley raises a violet forcefield in response. The dark pony colides with the force field, which then procedes to launch the energy absorbed back at the creature, vaporizing it instantly.

"All right! You've got it. Use this power to protect yourself and others."

Suddenly, in a flash of light, Twilight finds herself back in the library, with three different ponies arround her. They were none other than Rarity, Rainbow Dash and Applejack.

"The way is still shut, before we leave, tell me more about yourself."

Rarity then steps forward and procedes to ask: "Whats most important to you?"

Twilight simply stares at her friend. "Rarity, you should know that it is and always will be my friendships."

Rarity simply nods and backs away, Rainbow Dash quickly zipping in to fill the void.

"What are you afraid of?"

Twilight actually had to think this one through. She had never really thought about what she was afraid of before.

"Well, I suppose losing you and the rest of my friends is what scares me the most."

Rainbow smirks and, like Rarity before her, backs away to be replaced with Applejack.

"What do y'all want outta life?"

This one was the easiest question for Twilight to answer.

"To be with my friends and to keep them safe."

Applejack smiled and all three ponies vanished in a flash of light.

"Your journey begins in the dead of night. Your road won't be easy, but a rising sun awaits your journey's end."

As these words are spoken, the purple mare awakens to the sound of someone pounding on her door.

Blob's dream had felt more real than anything. blob could have looked it up on the internet, butasking a real pony probably would get him a better answer. he walked to the library, and saw Aurora already there. Hello there. I need to talk to Twilight. is she home?

[glow=navy,2,300]Well about 4 nights ago I was sleeping on a cloud in the crystal empire when a strange looking creature called out for help then vanished. i woke up right after that and found this crystal next to me. also one of luna's stars vanished from the night sky when it happened and the sky called out in pain. maybe you know what it is. i tried all the crystal shops in the crystal kingdom and nothing so far on it. This symbol is what gets me as weird. It looks the same as the creature that asked me to help them.[/glow] she explains. She also explains about the twin blades on her back and the dream she had right before she got them.

((the symbol on the crystal is a depiction of bahamut. the crystal itself is like materia. It was how one got summonings in KH.))

As Twilight descends the stairs she can hear voices from outside. She goes over to the window and glances outside to see two unfamiliar ponies outside; a crystal pegasus mare, and a unicorn stallion. She goes over to the door and opens it.

[glow=navy,2,300]"...and that's how I found these."[/glow]

"Excuse me," Twilight said as she opens the door. "May I help you?"

I had this weird dream last night about choices and stuff. do you know about it?

[glow=Navy,4,600]Also 4 nights ago I had what seamed to be a nightmare and well after it I had this crystal beside me and not even the crystal workers of the crystal kingdom know what it is, or what it can do. All they say is that it has a strong power in it. I also got these from a dream I had on my way here. Maybe you can help us both....If that is okay with you?[/glow]
She says holding the crystal in one hoof and pointing to the keyblades on her back with the other hoof. The crystal seams to react warmly to the presence of the keyblades she has.

"Alright, slow down. First, could you please describe this 'nightmare'? Second, how do you know that those two key things on your back are called Moonshine and Moonshadow?"

There was a voice, and asword, helmet, and fire flower, and the helmet was defense, the sword was attack, and the flower was attack. then I fought these black things with antennae.
