Whoop! I do so apologise, I confused myself there for a second! I thought that Cadence and the team were already at the palace of the dragon rulers when they teleported to meet them, I was under the assumption that mystik elevation majiks were involved to take them up to the great dragons. Good thing I decided to reread! Would Clockwork still have to travel upwards to greet the dragons, or is he set on a twisting path to the ruler's chamber?

Cadance is the next best thing to a Goddess, and being the only other "benevolent ruler" on the face of the planet, gets to do a top-top-secret mass long-distance teleport directly from her teleportation chamber to Tiamat's throne room/presence.

He can walk and take the "slow" way to get to the group.  or, he can go and ask a dragon really, really, really nicely.  Or, you know, with my superawesome GM powers I can just "timeskip" to you being there.

Just to let you all know I am still open to draw our characters in a group shot, Shade, Clockwork and Chrysteel are done! Cmon, lets get everyone on this!

Hey, now that I stopped to count, I noticed something: We have 7 destined ones.... Chrysteel (1), Shade (2), Asterian (3), Super Nova (4), Bleyd (5), Apple Pie (6-Laughter) and Derpy (7-Loyalty). What does that mean? One of you won't be a Destined One? There is a new Element? Or Derpy won't be a Destined One?

Clockwork won't be for definite, he's far too impure to be chosen. I have confidence that Derpy and Dinky are fixed points in the story and I doubt Magus is prepared to make an 8th element to break canon a fraction. Unless he is and Clockwork becomes the Element of Determination/Hatred, but I'll eat his hat if that happens.

I didn't count Ilias because, counting Apple Pie and Derpy, we already have more than enough Destined Ones, and I was the last to come, so I figured Ilias would play a secondary role in the story. Besides, it seems Cadence can feel the Destined Ones, and she didn't say anything about Ilias so far.

Good question. ...Let's wait for The Wandering Magus to answer this question. (In truth, the idea of myself being a destined one... seems... fitting.) How so, Shade? (My past contains my lust for power, yet I never really had any power.) Right... (Now, I have some sense of power.) Yeah... (It is only in the shadows of objects that block the sun. Where light shouldn't actually touch, the power of my mastery is regenerated.) That comes from your origins. (Correct. And robes block light from showing the true colors of the one who wears it, causing the shadows to always linger.) So, that is why the robe? (...You know what I do, because I am one part of your mind.) ...Well, you got me there! (The shadows give me a specific kind of energy. Similar to the plants using photosynthesis, I use just the opposite. I gather the absence of energy to fuel my mind.) Does that even make sense? (Anything is possible if you just believe.) ...yeah.

If i am not mistaken, even if we don't gain an element, destined one means we are to bring about great change. we were chosen to end Discord's rule over the land. we don't have to become an element of harmony just for that. we could be there to help and support the elements. also it seams not all of the elements will be gaining new masters. It also seams Tiamat and Bahamut can also sense them. Also we don't truly know until all elements have either been restored or gained new masters.
