As for the ending, well it could mean she either becomes a batpony later and is befriended by Luna, or maybe she will have some passive abilities or even a transformation power that will ultimately augment her role as a carer for wild animals. I'm hoping for the former.

1. Dash is an alcoholic

Uh, what? Since when does "apple cider" translate to alcohol? You DO remember what show this is, right?

While it makes a good joke since there is both alcoholic and non-alcoholic types of cider I have to agree that it is certainly not alcoholic cider. Looking back at Super Speedy Cider Squeezy there were foals waiting in line for cider in addition to the adults.

It's just really darn good cider.

Cider is warm apple juice! But there can be cold cider, like when u buy cider at a store, its cold at first, but then u hav to heat it up to become official cider. Ya get me?

I forgot to comment about it, but that's the third "foreshadowing" they do at the end of an episode... I don't know if that's just a recurring gag or something that will all come back together later on... And I really can relate the shadow of Nightmare Moon with Flutterbat.

Right? Season 4 ep's have been having some pretty strange endings. Like the comic book dissapearing, that huge shadow of the "Shadow Pony" and now Fluttershy still having the Vampire Bat teeth? Hm...wow.

I imagine that cider made with rotten apples would be alcoholic for a horse. That's one good reason for the Apple family to sort the rotten apples out of the batch.
After all, in real life, when a horse eats rotten apples, it gets drunk.
