Shadow Mare

Meh, I'll stick to hitting rocks, fishing, and sell fossils.

Well, City Folk doesn't have progression, or the called "badges", so it's probably not that necessary to you.

The Stalk Market is a bit annoying, but I just want the badges. And at least you can still make a nice profit.

Though, going with the Island Plan or selling perfect fruit premium or not premium in others' towns in New Leaf also works for great profit. I still also check my Lovely Phone for possible Money Luck items. If I don't have it or it's not Money Luck, I just get on with it to get my ore or Bells.

And, yes. 20 Million Bells. Worked pretty well to earn them Bells. (You get a safe around that point for storing things)

Oh. When you hit 100,000,000 Bells, you get your very own ABD. I kinda plan to collect all the "freebies" the Post Office has to offer aside from the golden Saver badge~ ^-^

For having that many, I may reconsider making the t-shirt requests for Free.

So... Turnips... Huh.

Been avoiding them after my first week with them but... I've been getting lazy about getting money in New Leaf and Jenzy's bank is making me think I'd like some Turnips... :ajshifty:

Please don't emphasize the twenty million bit, seems cocky and it makes me feel bad looking at my five thousand bells... X3
Purr~

KirbyFluttershy

I'll just have to play the Stalk Market to get to 100m bells if I can find someone with the high price next week. I already Organized my Storage so that way I can store my turnips inside the storage for the time being.

1. Wait until 7
2. Go to island
3. Catch any and all bugs ON PALM TREES! NOT REGULAR TREES! Catch sharks too.(toss back ocean sunfish)
4. Put bugs/sharks in box until it's full.
5. Sell 'em all, better with wealthy town ordinance.
6. PROFIT!
There. Bags and bags of Bells, turnip free!

I don't normally catch fishes and bugs at the island If it's not at the times and months that I can catch sharks. Mainly Sharks, Coelacanths (when there's rain or snow), Ocean sunfish, red snapper, and barred knifejaws is what I fish up the most, but now when september month came in, It's hard to find some sharks at this time so Apparently I play the stalk market for the time being.

Months don't make any difference on the island. That's the whole point. It's always the same.

I haven't played in like...a month.
My excuse? I just didn't bother. Time to pop it back in and squish 5 thousand roaches...

Well if your town ordinance is set to beautiful town, then there won't be any cockroaches in your house and less weeds in your town.

Yeah I noticed that. Good thing I have the beauty ordinance on. :D

KirbyFluttershy

Well Just try to be careful of your inactivity because I was inactive on the last game, city folk except that I played the game every 6 days because of the bed hair.

Not only those things you will have, but you will have bed hair as well so you're gonna have to change that hair style into the last hair style you used.

I get bed hair on purpose. It's cute.

I can't not play Animal Crossing for a whole month. Since I've got pretty much the "best town ever" in my view.

I'm not gonna go and have a bunch of them move out and the town having random move-ins and weeds everywhere (though, I really need to do something about that to get the badge without Leif's help)...

If you just didn't bother, that's either extreme laziness, or maybe you were busy? Either way, you don't really show to your town at all.

AC's supposed to be everyday fun. Try not to make it an addiction though. At least one hour or two works well enough for gameplay time. lol

Though, if you're cunning, you can probably time travel back to those missed days. May affect like the skipped days never happened since you never loaded.

If you could or couldn't care less, then, what the heck. Just go on from your current point and HAVE... FUN! ovO

Oh yeah. Gracie refuses to perform her fashion checks if you have bed head.

KirbyFluttershy

Time Traveling Back will affect your turnips to spoil if you have them so I wouldn't time travel back if I were you guys. Only Time Travel Back if you're playing the Stalk Market and/or whenever you need to buy stuff from your re-tail and nookling shop.

I normally play for like less than a hour so basically I wait for 9-10AM (if there's no early bird ordinance) for the shops to open and buy something.

Gracie's Fashion Check doesn't work if you have a bed head?

For getting lots of bells, I like to go to the island and do island tours, but I don't actually do the tours. I just run around and collect all the fruit. Each tour island has at least 6 stacks of fruit, so that's 54 fruit per tour island. I usually do easy tours, since they give you 5 minutes, and I've gotten to where I can collect all 54 fruit in those 5 minutes. So, I just do that over and over, and once I'm satisfied with how many stacks/baskets I have, I go home and sell 'em.

KirbyFluttershy

Well unlike What I did before on the last game, I made money by fishing up sharks, coelacanths, red snappers, barred knifejaws, blue marlins, and ocean sunfishes during the summer, but at the Island, I wouldn't fish there so I only fish at my Town with the silver fishing rod.

You can fish at the island. You just have to talk to the Lloid right next to the building's entrance when you go outside. He lets you borrow tools and even a diving suit.

Yeah I know. I fished there before, but I stopped fishing there after I bought the silver fishing rod. The Reason why I bought the Silver Fishing rod is a better sight radius for the fish to bite and a little time for the fish to bite the bait.

I've worked hard to earn my hard-earned Bells, but I'm still rather slow about it.

It still pays off. And you've got many days/opportunities you can play the game. Try not to get addicted with Bell earning. lol

By the way. Ocean Sunfish, worth a lot, but not as much as the other sharks. Whenever I used to be on the Island a lot, I would only go for beetles and fish that would give me 8,000 Bells or more. You do have to be kinda strategic about selling your fish.

Fruit is a good way too, but you'll end up wasting more 1,000 Bells per round trip than one with a bunch of valuable beetles and fish.
