Being designed to withstand the crushing weight of a collapsing building, the suit didn't allow Wavelength to feel any indication of the tap, though he could hear the sound it produced, which caused his frightened shaking to intensify.  Finally he bothered to open his eyes and look out through the visor... to see that it was just Laserbolt.  The shivering calmed down and the suit gave Laserbolt a somewhat uncertain "I'm all right" salute.

Laserbolt sighed, wondering if this one was going to be able to stay together through the duration of this nightmarish escapade. He wasn't sure if he could, himself.

As Wavelength looked into the doubtful eyes of Laserbolt through his polarized visor, he couldn't help but feel like the pony was judging him for this behavior.  I bet you haven't witnessed a fourth of what I've been through tonight...  P-pink taffy...  Sweet Celestia, I feel like I must have snapped her spine several times with all those turns...

stardust shook her head and stopped shivering and stood back up on her hooves. she looked around to see laserbolt and wavelenght her lanturn was still in her magucal grasp oddly. sorry if i scared all of you i didn't know where to i heard wooden hoofsteps coming towards me. she nervously

Wooden? That... doesn't sound good.

no it definitely doesn't. oh and names stardust by the way. she flexed and flapped her wings a few times before folding them again. these wings wont do what i want them to do when im scared or in a dire situation she said annoyed.

Nice to meetcha, Stardust. My name's Laserbolt. And that quivering mess on the floor is Wavelength.

He indicated the still shivering biohazard suit lying on the floor.

The orange figure stood up groggily and took its helmet off, showing Wavelength's gold-coated face and pale yellow mane.  "Don't you worry a little bit... it's not you that I'm having problems with.  What I've done tonight is still a bit unsettling in my head... and it ain't those things you saw outside."  Wavelength took another swig of tea from his canteen.

"Hey, I was just trying to get a little rest, all right?  I'm not a coward.  Do you wanna know why this night's been rough?" Wavelength asked seriously.  "If I tell you this story, you're either gonna laugh your head off 'cause you don't know any better or you'll have nightmares for the next week."

Laserbolt raised an eyebrow.

Hey, I never said anything about you being a coward. That's kind of presumptuous of you, don't you think?

Wavelength sighed.  "I've had a rough night... Less than half an hour ago, I was talking to and fighting alongside a sentient rock.  We were fighting..."  Wavelength paused to look at Pinkie Pie.  "Several odd variations of her.  I don't even know where to begin on that, but... she was... stretchy.  Unimaginably so.  I ended up restraining her with her own body.  I was literally tying a knot with somepony's body.  I know how far a spine can bend, and that would have broken hers several times over... yet she kept coming loose..."  Wavelength trailed off, remembering a few other things like being hauled through time and space without the slightest exertion of energy.  "All right, I take that offer back.  This story's too big to tell..."
He just sat down and took another sip.  "Feel free to ask somepony else, they'll probably have a better handle on the situation since they weren't tying pink taffy," he suggested, shuddering involuntarily as he spoke the last two words.

Tian, after having overheard the conversation between the three, walked to Wavelenght and placed a hoof on his shoulder. If he is that desperate about the stuff he has seen that night, he would literally lose his mind and sanity if he knew half of what she did. - "Wavelenght, I am sorry for being so direct, but please, stop being so desperate about everything." - She stared him in the eyes - "I know it must have been a traumatic experience, and that a lot of what you thought to be impossible is happening in such a short span of time, but remember: it does not matter how much we know, there are always things we do not, probably many more than what we do. So, we need to have our minds opened to assimilate any new event that defy what we believe to be the truth. You wanting it or not, you have done what you have done. You can choose to try to lock it in the depths of your mind as something that cannot be remembered, or you can, as a scientist, accept it's existence and try to analyze it, to unite what you have discovered and what you already knew, trying to figure out any missing hole between them. Take this trip to this dimension as a huge opportunity to learn what others cannot. Otherwise, you'll be failing as a scientist." - After saying that, she gave him a reassuring smile - "And if you ever want to discuss anything about this matter, about the things happening in this plane, you can come to me and I will be glad to help."

Who in Equestria feared Pinkie Pie enough for her to show up as a monster here? Laserbolt shuddered a bit, just thinking about it. But after hearing Tian's encouraging words...

Yeah... Yeah! Tian's right! We gotta keep our heads clear! Nothing a little bit of teamwork can't handle! This place can't stop us! We're Equestrians, for Luna's sake! WE CAN DO THIS!

"I've come to accept this bizarre world, Tian, but..." Wavelength's ears dropped back.  "I keep feeling like I was going through the motions of a murderer... what I did to that Pinkie... over and over..."

Tian smiled softly at him - "You just did what had to be done. You adapted to the situation, and throwing logic away, you knew that what you were doing wouldn't kill her, otherwise you would have stopped yourself. You don't have to feel guilty, as you haven't done anything wrong. As I've said, you can't take everything in this plane to the letter. What you've done was the equivalent of a grapple at that situation. Nothing wrong with that."

Besides, if something was created here, it was created out of terror. It's probably bad anyway. They aren't equine proper.

Tian turned to Laserbolt with an expression showing signs of a controlled anger. - "Please, refrain yourself from saying things like that. This is not the Plane of Terror, but the Plane of Concepts. Thing here can be either good or bad, but at the current situation, the bad ones are trying to cause havoc." - She stopped a little, and remembered it was the first time she or anyone had mentioned it to Laserbolt. Calming herself, she spoke with a gentler voice. - "I'm sorry, I think it was my fault for not being clear before. But it's just..." - She turned to look at little 'Cruel and Fluttershy, while also remembering Pinky, before looking back at Laserbolt. - "I don't want them to be put in the same place as that things outside."
