Confetty felt a little jumpy since Wavelength wasn't awake to give her confidence, so the contact of Misty's hoof on her head was met with a flinch.  "Hello," she replied, staring back up at Misty with a surprisingly difficult-to-read face.

Farsight sat on his pillow, giving a small token of appreciation by saying thanks before he began to lap at his soup. He could of used magic or even a spoon... But all that had happened had fuddled his mind enough that he didn't even think about doing that. So, he sat there, lapping up his soup and looking between all the ponies he had ended up with... And even though he was in a... Peaceful and happy setting, he had a bad feeling it wouldn't last long.

Arty and Tian thanked the kind mare whose name seemed to be Fluttershy. Tian had heard the name before at least once, but tried to avoid letting Fluttershy more embarassed than she looked like. Even if the mare was the personification of kindness, it would be wrong to take advantage of it for long. Tian grabbed a bowl of salad and sat next to the red unicorn. - "Things finally calmed down..." - She looked at him - "Things got tough out there, huh? And we don't even know what that was all about. We must be careful from now, I have a feelings things aren't over. By the way, my name is Tian Long." - She smiled at him - "I wished we could have met at a better situation, but it's a pleasure to meet you nonetheless."

Arty grabbed a bowl of soup and a spoon with telekinesis, but not for him. He turned to the green filly - "Some energy will make your daddy recover faster. So, could you please hold his head up a little? It will be easy for him to swallow without choking that way." - He dipped the spoon on the soup, taking it out full of the liquid. - "What is your name, sweety? I'm Arty Brightshadow."[color] - He smiled at her again.

Confetty looked at the soup for a moment.  She had never met strangers before... everypony in the research center could be trusted.  Could these ponies?
Surrounded by strangers, her father unconscious, multiple strangers were talking to her... Confetty's mind was overwhelmed to the point where she simply broke out in tears and covered Wavelength's head protectively.  "Don't hurt Daddy!" she yelled.

[Dark Hooves]

Misty: Shhhh, its alright little filly. Your daddy will be just fine. Nopony here will hurt him. As a royal guard it is my duty to protect all the ponies from harm.

"W-what's a royal guard?  Is dat one of the black thingies that was chasing us?" Confetty asked shakily.

[Dark Hooves]

Misty: (giggles) No silly, I am a royal guard, a knight that is sworn to protect all denizens of Equestria. That black creature I have no idea what it is. We are safe here so you can try to calm down.

[Seriack]

Farsight smiles at Tian, wiping his chin off a bit, "My name is Farsight, and the pleasure is all mine... And yes, I have a feeling that was only the beginning..." He says, looking back into his soup. He stared at his reflection for a bit, reflecting on events and the situation at hoof... He wanted to try and help the filly who's father was apparently hurt, but the other unicorn and the... Alicorn...? Seemed to already be doing so. "It all feels like a nightmare... And the only good parts in those last for a short while..." He mumbles into the soup, his mind wandering to the monsters he had had seen just moments before...

Confetty started to calm a little, but she still sniffed the soup suspiciously before lifting Wavelength's head for Misty.

[Dark Hooves]

Misty: (checking his pulse) He will be fine, he just needs rest.

[Bravo 658]

"Okay...," Confetty answered.
She curled up around Wavelength's head and buried her muzzle in Wavelength's fuzzy mane.

[Dark Hooves]

Misty: (pulling a stuffed teddy bear from her saddlebag) This is my cuddle friend from my foalhood, you may hug it for a while. (lends it to Confetty)

Confetty looked up and stared at the teddy bear for a moment.  "W-what is it?"
It seemed quite obvious that her dad's head filled the role just fine for Confetty.

The filly was hesitant, but finally let the ponies take care of her daddy. Arty carefuly blew the soup on the spoon to cool it a little and approximated the spoon to the stallions lips. Using telekinesis at it's weakest, he opened a small gap between his lips and let the soup flow it's way into the pony's mouth and throat. After making sure the pony had swallowed everything, he repeated the process, always being as careful and gentle as possible. With the extra energy from the food, the magic healing his wounds will have a stronger effect, and soon enough Wavelenght will be good as new.

Tian looked at Farsight. He seemed really worried, as much as she was. But she wasn't worried about herself, but about the ponies there. Even if they had two royal guards, they also had a small filly and a hurted pony, and she didn't know if Arty and Farsight could handle much more pressure. She tried to be confident and smiled when she said - "Don't worry. As long as we stay together, I'm sure we can figure a way to handle everything."

[Seriack]

"We can only hope..." Farsight says with a sigh. He starts to lap at his soup again.

[The Wandering Magus]

Fluttershy finally came over and lay down a short distance (for her, at least) away from the group, allowing them a little privacy while being close enough that anypony that wanted to talk could.  Her sharp ears, honed by listening to the quiet forest animals and her own softer-than-normal voice since fillyhood, perked up as she realized these ponies were stranger than she had even suspected at first.  Who were they?  What shadows were they speaking of?  This might be something only Twilight could figure out...

Vick heard no reply to his whistling; whether this was good or bad, it seemed only him, and perhaps the ponies at Fluttershy's Cottage, had experienced anything unusual.

Strangely, there were two dull-eyed ponies with tears streaming down their faces walking mechanically away from a particularly shadowed alley nearby...

After a few moments more, Farsight finishes his soup and looks over at Fluttershy and, with a smile, he says, "Thank you for the soup... We've been through quite the... Night..." He didn't know much else to say, only having met the yellow, and mellow, pegasus a few times before.
