Cerrunos's ears shot up, and a growl of pleasure came from His throat as a savage look lit His eyes.  "And so soon also... this is quite a skilled hunter, this creature of Yours, Issachar."

Gaia sat down, stroking some of the trees with a hoof.  Flowers sprang up beneath Her as the Goddess of Fertility moved about.  "I hope the others... weren't too upsetting.  Cerrunos, well, He is The Hunter after all, and Issachar is a God of Chaos."

Issachar: Well that's good she'll needs all the food she can get.

[Laebenal]

"I know what they are and I left because I wasn't needed there." Solar Flare says and lands on the ground right in front of Gaia.

Cerrunos barked out a laugh.  "Indeed, indeed!  As all hunters do.  That is the way of the wilds, eh?  To hunt and kill and feast and hunt again."

Gaia brushed the tree, which grew slightly and stretched out healthy limbs and began to bear fruit.  "I see.  Yet Gods are everywhere at once, are We not?  I am the entire planet, every blade of grass and every living tree, though I often appear only in one place or another.  And I am sure that You are in every tongue of flame and every forest fire.  Our responsibilities do not have to be Our only reasons for appearing... sorry if I'm boring You..."

Something grew within... and in a moment of writhing pain and agony, the coyote is no more, and from its remains emerge another creature of the Hunter.

The Hunter grinned, licking his lips.  "Yes, well, let Us leave her be, for the moment.  Hunters shall hunt, as I always say."

Issachar: So what unique spells do you possess?

Cerrunos chuckled.  "Spells?  Spells are for mortals, My friend.  I am every hunter in all of Creation; My eyes are sharper than any eagle's, My claws sharper than the Leviathan's.  My breath is like that of dragons, and My belly more massive than that of the Behemoth.  I ride upon countless wings, and taste the flesh of every hunted prey.  When I speak, My voice is the voice of all the hunters of the world combined, every growl and screech and bellow, every roar and hiss and scream.  I think, and the wolves come to me; I move, and the waves of the ocean shudder.  I whisper, and the earth is trampled beneath a trillion hooves moving as one.  I am in the deepest trench and the highest mountain, the darkest cavern and the driest desert, for I am all hunters, all things that kill and feast upon flesh."

He smiled at Issachar, slit snake's eye and round eagle's eye peering at the God of Chaos.  "And what of You, My friend?  What powers do You hold over the universe?  What abilities have been given to You in Your stewardship of Creation?"

Issahcar: Interesting, by combining my power with my brother's we can create anything except for the magical relics of course, but on our own he can create anything except for magical relics and I can destroy anything at will. Of course I can do this too. (conjures up his magic armor which makes him appear to have menacing spikes all over his body)

Heaven's Ray: We also command the light and dark spiritual energies. I don't like showing off though.

A rhinoceros was grazing near the stream in front of the cavern when she came out, and its ears shot up as it heard unfamiliar sounds.  Not knowing how to respond, it trusts to instinct and turns to face the new threat, pawing at the ground and lowering its horn, snorting.

"And You receive armor and weapons for warding destruction and creation?" asked the Hunter.  "Interesting.  It would make sense for Order and Chaos to be able to create anything there is in the universe, being the primeval forces of power.  But if You, Heaven's Ray, can already create anything You wish short of relics, then why is it that You would ever combine Your power with Issachar's?"

[Dark Hooves]

Heaven's Ray: He possess stronger magic than my own which he shares with me when I need a boost. All of his magic is offensive magic while most of mine is defensive magic.

[Laebenal]

"Yeah. Forest fires... As much as I don't like them they need to happen sometimes." Solar Flare says a bit sadly.

The Hunter grinned.  "Magic?  Force?  Energy?  Gods have no limit to their magic.  We are all-powerful, all-knowing, all-seeing, all-hearing, within Our realms.  We break the very "laws" of magic and physics that the little mortals try to put on the universe simply by existing.  We are super-natural, beyond the bounds of what mortals define as  "reality".  For Us, there is no distinction between magic and science, for they are one.  We hold the planets in Our hands and hooves and claws.  My Sister Gaia makes the plants grow in harvest and wither in winter.  My Sibling Gnosis is the only thing keeping these puny mortals sane.  We are GODS, not simply powerful creatures.  Any dragon, star-creature, and diligent mortal mage can gain power, but they will always be limited.  They may become immortal, they may never age, they may move mountains and dominate minds, but they will never know INFINITE power as We do.  Reality is Our plaything, the cosmos Our canvas to paint upon as We wish.  You two should know more than any of Us.  Did You not CREATE the universe, in a great explosion of Order and Chaos?  Before time, before essence, before anything in all Creation?  Come now, Heaven's Ray, what is this "stronger" and "weaker" and "boost" and "magic" You speak of?  We are Gods, My friend.  Limits have no meaning to Us."

Gaia nodded, sympathetic.  "Many of My trees cannot grow without fires, Solar Flare.  Yes, some plants will die, and yes, animals too will die, but there must be death to bring forth life.  Plants die to give animals life, and animals die to give other animals life, and those animals die to give plants life.  Fire is one part of many in the Circle.  Don't feel bad about the things You preside over.  Your warming rays are what enable My plants to grow, after all."

[Laebenal]

"Yeah..." Solar Flare says and thinks for a while. "What about ponies? Do other gods have problems with them?" She says.

Heaven's Ray: I possess only the light spiritual energy, while Issachar possesses the dark spiritual energy. Mortal possess both energies which is why their magic is different from ours. Usually our power is evenly match, but it shifts from light to dark or from dark to light depending on the number of good or bad mortals in existence. Currently there are more bad mortals than good.

Issachar: She's at it again.

"I do not think so," smiles Gaia.  "The others watch over the mortals as well.  Ponies are not hunters, but Cerrunos has no problem with them as far as I can tell.  Gnosis requires mortals to exist.  Issachar and Heaven's Ray are manifestations of good and evil within ponykind, so I would not think they would have problems.  I myself am the All-Mother, and ponies are My children as much as any other."
