Asterian runs down a long corridor hoping to find safety in the darkness.

There's safety in numbers! Physics yells to Asterian, staying with Flame, he rather trust a pony he knows, then one he doesn;t.

Asterian snarls.
"Oh fine..."
He whimpers over to the others, fearful of what could be coming.

Asterian's Hope/Dread: -4
His unease has grown strong.

Physics falls to the ground from the shaking before picking himself up. Let's.....get a move on.... Physics says, trotting forward slowly, hoping a pony would take the lead, the front was a dangerous position to be in.....

Asterian nervously leads the pack, hoping he can find sanctuary from the chaos.

He begins to doubt his actions.

Flame takes the lead and trots to the front as Physics said we should stay together in a group

The hallways extend and the floors crack, with each crack a new section topples down to the darkness below. A pit that seems to go on forever. The ground beneath begins to smoke and the air around becomes heated

One wrong turn, and we fall down there.... Physics says, pointing down to the void.

"I-I-I don't like this at all..."

Asterian's Hope/Dread: -8
The shadow of fear looms over him.

So stick with us and you won't fall down.... Physics tells Asterian, better not have his companion become over-run with fear.

The floor continued to collapse until the entire section became one giant jumping puzzle with soft flames rising from between the open spaces

Oh dear....I hope you practiced your teleport spell! Physics says, using a quick teleport to move himself to the next section, not trusting his jumping skill enough to carry himself through this "challenge".

[Asterian Starfall]

Asterian takes a deep breath to put himself at ease, then he Teleports to the pedestal. He is trying to meditate to ease himself back to serenity in this unforgiving place.
"I'll be fine! I've got this!"

Hello?!  Anypony there?!  Checkmate had woken up in a strange room, confused about everything.

After a nerve-wracking few minutes, Asterian has made it to the other side of the jumping puzzle. He feels inspired by his victory...
"Well... Onward."

Asterian's Hope/Dread: -2
Something in the back of his mind is troubling him.

On of the chains emerge from the ceiling and grab Asterians right hind hoof and dangle him abover the opening in the ground

Physics finishes teleport just in time to see the chains drag his Asterian off his hooves. Asterian! Stand still, I'll teleport you back here! Physics says, focusing a teleport spell, making sure he'd teleport the pony on solid ground and not over the abyss by mistake.
