Soon the sound of running faded and the creature started to move without making noise to make others unable to know where she was. You just try to lure me into a trap! Comes shout from the forest.

 Sameul did let out a wail of greatest disheartening nature, as he fell to his knees. Slowly he gained composure and spoke to his friend, steadfast. "My friend . . . it worries me not what might befall myself, but your own honor and justness, to be questioned, it is not rightly done! I a-fear the steps you might have taken are now covered in shadow and dobut. Where you shall be knighted, should we succeed . . . Grassblade turned head to Samuel.  "You misunderstand my desires.  They are not of Earl-dom; I'll not be a leader of any pony, and surely you understand that status to me means nothing.  If anything, it is your own blame I fear for; that I may have pulled you into this trouble with me.  If you follow me to the end as you say, though, then know that this is my path."

He looked forward again and stood a moment in thought.  He spoke once more to the unknown voice.  "Very well, I'll task you to bother me instead."  He took off his battle armor and dropped his shields, all clanging together on the forest floor, then he took a few steps forward and sat down.  "Here I sit, until you speak to me on your terms.  I'll not leave here until I've seen justice done, and a friendly being-no matter how uncommon-should receive friendship in turn."

Forest stays quiet a while until a response comes: You are just playing clever trying to get me out with friendly talk.

Grassblade looked at Liaisa, confused.  "Is there yet another pony with you, or is this this forest really so pleasant for strolling through?"

He turned back to the forest to answer the unknown pony.  "Well, I do believe he'll fight me to the death if he sees me again.  I'd say that you saw the whole thing, but I cannot be sure; I do not recall seeing your pupils."

"I really don't know." She says, just as confused as Grassblade.

"Hold fast, my fire-maned friend.  The unsavory thugs may be returning."  He returned to his equipment and picked up his shields, then looked about for the source of all the snapping twigs.  As he rounded a bush, D D nearly fell on top of him.

"Did you find the source of the commotion?" Liaisa asked as she followed behind Grassblade.

Tell me, what would I do with these things called "pupils"? Comes a respond from the forest. After hearing stumbling and sounds of shields getting picked up she quickly added: So, I was right. You called more ponies to capture me! A flame can be seen in the forest.
