from his hiding place Tech says into his communicator, "As I currently am right now I would be more of a target unless you get the Spider queen trapped first. i can also fly and my wings react way to quickly to falling damage for me to get much unless it my fly-by as a dive attack. also T.C. only has a bow so trying to increase output in the manner you talking about won't work."
T.C. chimes in, "[glow=yellow,2,300]Plus I plan on using my Fire storm arrows. So don't be in the attack path.[/glow]"

((tech's and T.C.'s attacks are unable to be increased in this manner. Plus Tech will be fatigued after the chosen attack. so please if you do this there has to be enough damage to kill it in one go or tech's a sitting duck.))

"....hmm...interesting plan..." Noy replied as he looked around. "uh TC, do you sense the spider any where"





TC's sensors had detected the spider earlier, having moved a significant distance away, before his processes could no longer interpret it's presence, in any shape or form.

"[glow=yellow,2,300]Not anymore. it seams to be hiding. Waiting for a chance to strike again. We will need to bring it into the open to catch it. then we can make the final blow. my metallic body can take quite the beating and if am able to be repaired i can get beck to full functioning condition. what i am trying to say is I can be the bate needed to get it into the open again and damage to me can be fixed or a more suitable body for my main core be found. transfering all memory to main core now. Tech i know you may think I am being a foal but I know I have the highest chance of making myself the most interesting target. also we will need some of her spiders as well for it to work. A queen if need be will protect her young as they should have been protecting her.[/glow]" T.C. says.

"Yea that might just work. if I know spider like i should its own webbing can be used to pin it down as well. spider anatomy states that a spider can move on its webs because of little hairs on its legs. its body however doesn't have this system. so we have two ways of doing this but we need to make it make allot of webs for it to work. what do the rest of you think? We could be playing hide and go seek with this thing till it is too late to stop them from getting out. that is if we can't find a way to slow this creature down. Stunning it is out of the option. It seams resistant to it." tech chimes in.

Price chuckles, thinking Tech might be onto something." That sounds good - no, that's a great idea,  It'll increase our chances of getting the spider to stay still while we pull the trap on him. Think you guys have enough wing power to pull webs from all around with a tornado?"
"Failsafe's are set! No way this thing's getting disrupted now." Crimson announces into his communicator as he picks up Range. "C'mon, let's fall back before we get squashed again. Anypony can find me, might be your last chance to get a little bit of healing in. I can't fix any of your acidic burns unless we have a potion; I can ration the one you have into working for the entire team. Otherwise, any other trauma done I can fix." He says as he falls back to Price. "TC on the other hand, I might be able to do some repairs if we could spare any alloy fragments to patch him up."

Tech says into the communicator, "Well for the web bit we need at least 200 wing power to force the webs from their place but that may also pull hidden spiders. For the healing look for the hidden sparking. That would be me. I am hiding because my lightning strike lights me up like a hearts warming tree. so I have to stay hidden or it will see me."
static electricity can be seen by crimson and the group from some nearby rubble.

Tian listened and analyzed th optioms carefully. - "If we manage to trap the spider with a good amount of her strong webs, wouldn't that already be our victory? Without being able to move, it'll let us procceed with our journey. There will be no need of slaying it. And I'm sure that, if we show we aren't here to kill it, but if attacked we will attack back, I'm sure it won't follow us even if it manages to free itself." - She said, concerned about the spider and the chaos that will fall upon the spiders of Tartarus in case their queen fall.

"What?" Crimson asked, not believing how persistent Tian seems to be on letting their enemies live. "This is our chance to ensure we don't get blind sighted by that thing again!"
"Crimson, please..." Price muttered out, "She has a point. If we can just trap the spider, we won't have to worry bout it anymore. Or at least for as long as the mission applies."
"But Price, there's a good chance a bunch of webbing and rock can't..." Crimson tried to explain, but instantly got cut off by Price.
"I'm calling the shots for this family, Crimson. Call off the assault, make sure that Spider can't leave where it stands. We'll just have to hurry and finish the objective before it breaks loose."
Crimson sighs. "Fine... You're really trying to cut this one close for us, aren't ya?"
"No. Our job is to infiltrate and neutralize the target. We can get away with leaving them unharmed; Heck, think about it this way: If we bring back our target alive the reward might be much worth the hassle. Believe me or not, not every battle can be solved by throwing swords every which way... The choices we make do have an outcome that could affect anything in a massive way. If we chose to swing a sword away at every problem, make us no better than a wild, primitive animal. But we all are - You are... You're much smarter than that."
"You're the boss... Alright, everypony got that? Range, Use those pillars instead to create a Prison... Just to make sure it won't break out on us again." Crimson says, bit calmly but also a little bitter about the choice Price is making... Even if he does make a great point.

Tech dismisses the charge he set up and goes over to the others. He looks and thinks about what was just said then says, "OK the trap, the webs and the pillars should keep it occupied long enough for us to at least get out of its territory and with that if she is just trying to protect her area then she would leave us alone. But if not then we may have to finish what was started with the smaller spiders. Magmaris think you could ask your lava spiders and their mother to help us with drawing out the spider queen?"

T.C. says "[glow=yellow,2,300]also we could try to cripple her so she can't move to easily. I could try a piercing arrow for the purpose of rendering her slowed and less reactive.[/glow]"

Laserbolt, looking at the spider queen, decides to figure out its weakspot. He takes out the device that he was trying to use to teleport earlier, and presses a few buttons, initiating the scan function.

Moonlight was walking around she was alone neither her previous team got split up by something or she went adventuring alone with her pet blue Phoenix moxie. Moonlight has a black cloak covering her wings on top of the cloak were saddlebags. Her pet was sleeping on her back.

Crimson hears the faint sound of somepony in the distance. He turns around, not seeing anybody around him but he returns a call back. "Hello? Who's that? If you can hear me, give me a sign." He wonders who it could be: Another bystander trapped down here? A lost soldier? Whoever it was, they would show themselves soon enough.

It seemed that the Queen had fled the battle, and from the signs would not be coming back out.  She was clever, this creature, more clever than many adventurers gave her credit.  She knew the abominable four-legs would try luring her out, try catching her, as the others had tried so long ago.  They had destroyed her little ones, and were proud and strong, but she would feast on them yet for their evils.  The ancient creature clicked her mandibles at the thought, crawling through the many pipes and hollows formed from the thousands of years of decay and infestation, some created by her ancestors, some made by her children.

Deeper and deeper she went, skittering over ancient bones and empty shells of armor as she thought.  She would trap them, yes, trap them like flies in a web, like dragons in a net of magma.  They would run, they would shoot those hideous, pointy things at her, but in the end, they will fall, as did all the other four-legs before them.

In any case, for all the group's traps and shouts, it seemed the Queen wasn't coming back for a while.  And in the wake of her retreat, it seemed that multiple barriers and walls had been collapsed, and now there was ample room for movement and exploration.  In fact, they now could almost see the Waterworks from their position, although first they would have to get through the other parts of the Garden chamber.

Of course, it was at this time that Moonlight chose to reveal herself to the herd.  She looked much the worse for wear, though not that much worse, considering what she could have faced if she had been here a moment earlier.  She somehow seemed to have broken out from the cocoon she had been wrapped in, although she was quite weak now.  In fact, she even tripped over her own hooves as she tried "running", her time in stasis and her Hunger debuff having greatly decreased her Strength, Agility and Movement Speed and decreasing outgoing damage by 50% as well as dealing a 50% penalty to speed until she could acquire something to eat and revitalize her.

Crimson looks around to notice the blockade before everypony has been released. "... Well, that answers the question about the queen. So much for that trap." He says, taking his mind off of the sound of the new traveler for one second before returning to her aid. "Just follow our voices and you'll find us. Doubt we'll stop talking anytime soon."
Price picked up his communicator and radios in on the entire team. "Looks like our path ahead just opened up. If everypony's ready, we can head on in." He says, placing it back into his saddle bag. For the next few seconds, he appeared to be trapped in thought, like he had forgotten something important. Curiously, he searches through his saddle bag before reconciling the thought of continuing on with the mission.

Tech looked to price and said, "You looking for something? or Do you think you may have forgotten something? I am no mind reader but you body language was say as much. So she decided to leave. smart move on her part. we could have easily finished her. that plan of you would have worked had all of us been melee type attackers. My T.C. is a ranged support type until I can fully unlock his combat systems."
Tech looks ahead then towards the pony coming to them. He says to her, "You look like a mare who just had a fight with a changeling hive and lost. Here have one of my food rations. I have more." Tech holds out to the new pony some of his food stuffs when she gets close.

T.C. sheaths his bow and begins to focus. his Pegasus look seams to be somewhat metallic in a way but he still for the most part looked like a focusing pony. he says into his communicator, "[glow=yellow,2,300]Scanning for any other lifeforms in the area. Shouldn't take more then 5 minutes.[/glow]" he is focused on the scanning.
