Chirp

"Ah, there you are. Come on, let's go!" Majem said and continued on his path. From where they came, at the T-intersection, he turned RIGHT.
((So you won't misread.))

The Wandering Magus

The walls and floor are littered with guano, and there is a strange stench from down the twisting hall.  It seems there is some great creature from which all these bats have spawned, or perhaps a creature that controls more than a few of them.

Chirp

"Gah, what's this?" Majem said and quickly moved a hoof to his nose to keep the smell away. "Is that.. Guano? Sheesh. Think we'll run into the bat hive or something like that? Those bats weren't much of a threat."

ArtVeigar

It was really too easy. Just don't let your guard down, as we might run on more and more of them. - Arty said, using his hoof to cover his nose too and starting to walking in that direction.

Chirp

"They're fruit bats, afterall. Even giant, they aren't as vicious as timberwolves." He said and let out a little chuckle. "I bet if they bump into a wall you get smoothie!" Majem began to laugh, but quickly stopped once he inhaled a big heap of that, presumably, guano smell.

bleyd

i back ponys. bleyd put net in his contencion bag all is ready?

The Wandering Magus

Fluttering and chirping sounds can be heard ahead, around some bend or another.  The group passes by a great mound of refuse in a hidden alcove to the left; unless the hunter was willing to search through it for something or another, it was simply better to pass it by for now.

ArtVeigar

You better watch out for your reactions, or you could be knocked off by the smell! - Arty also began to laugh, what leaded to the same bad-smelling fate of the friend. And I should do the same... Hehe...

Arty kept walking slowly and carefuly, his staff ready for a possible fight. - Let's finish this quickly, this place is too gross.

The Wandering Magus

Ahead is a sign that seems to describe the place as having been a major armory and barracks for the guards at one point; there were still medals and frames on the wall where maps once hung, now long rotted away.  Of course, the place seems to have been taken over by some sort of Fruit Bat creature.  The father in they go, the more the bats will seem almost controlled in a sense; but if they removed the source of the problem, perhaps they would find some good additional equipment in here.

Chirp

"Gross, but possibly worth it!" Majem responded and pointed at the sign. "Look, it's an armory! There's bound to be something useful in there!"

bleyd

ok but we need search with caution

i cover you

The Wandering Magus

The road ahead is positively swarming with Fruit Bats.  They will need to be trapped or defeated or snuck past to reach the Fruit Controller.

Chirp

"Cover me? Hah!" Majem said and laughed a little. "I'm the stealthy one here, don't worry. If somepony needs covering, it's Arty. He doesn't have a lot of protection and we better find something for him in there, because who knows what we'll run into later on?"

Majem stopped when the fruit bats were visible. "You know, bats don't have the best eyes, they rely on their ears more, especially in darker places. This cloak silences my hoofsteps, I could probably sneak past these and see what we're going for." He suggested and tapped his hoof on the floor, confirming his silenced hooves. "Or you could use that net again and catch a few. I doubt you can get all of those, though and being swarmed isn't exactly safe. And my cloak won't be any good once they're looking for us."

bleyd

bat dont use your sound bats use sound vision even you are invisible bats can see you

i think if we can do a fire we can smoke bats.

Chirp

"I know, but if they aren't alerted, they won't be looking for anything. Besides, I don't think we have enough material to burn."

bleyd

The Wandering Magus

Majem's Cloak of Stealth, written with ancient and magical runes, somehow made him undetectable even to the sonar of the bats.  He just had to be careful not to bump into anything on his way into the darkness.

Chirp

((Woah, awesome.))
"Don't worry." Majem said and pulled the hood of his cloak farther over his face, then proceeded the journey, alone. Slowly and carefully he ventured further away from his companions. Unaware of what lies ahead, he bravely ventured forward.

The Wandering Magus

As he ventured into the darkness, the smell of rot increased, and he began to feel a bit of dread with each step.  It was not the bats, which fluttered as they ever did, but something else, old and crafty and controlling.  He began to see signs of literal corruption as he neared a fork; to the right would be the barracks, and to the left would be the armory and food storage.  It seemed the barracks had been converted into a breeding ground and nesting place for the bats, but whatever was controlling them had turned the place into a slimy, fungus-ridden mess.  Several Disgusting Fungi could be faintly seen under the accumulated filth, ready to release an Area of Effect Disease debuff if stepped on.  Some of the bats began to look rabid, dripping Diseased Saliva that was sure to give a Disease Debuff to any they bit.  Yet the source of the infestation was not within the barracks, but to the left...
