Majem returned to the other two ponies. "Fruit bats. Giant fruit bats. Might be a problem seeing how we don't have any ranged attacks. Ideas?"

Arty remembers that the Shadow Staff can add Shadow Damage to his debuffs, which already work from a range.  Chirp also remembers seeing pebbles on the ground that he might use as a weak ranged ability.

um we can kill spider and move his web and use versus bats. or can sleep until tomorrow.

With this staff, my debuffs also does damage. But having all the aggression towards me wouldn't be any good, as I don't have any armor. How much bats are there? And there is something valuable at sight? Because if they are just there for no reason, it would be better to avoid battles. But Bleyd's idea is not bad. If we somehow could catch the bats with the web like they were bugs... - Arty said, wondering how would they do that.

[Chirp]

"You know, I actually like that idea." Majem pondered for a moment, but was asked a question by Arty.
"Uhh, the road ahead splits up in two. Also, I believe those bats were just scouting the area for food or whatnot. I agree with you, though. I'd prefer to avoid fights."

Majem thought about the Bley'd idea for a while then came up with something. "Arty, do you think we could make a net out of the spider's web? Bleyd's a pegasus, he could fly up and entangle them. I doubt they can fly when sticking to a web." Majem paused for a moment then continued. "Or, we could move the spider here and see if it could do anything." Majem frowned at his own idea. He didn't think the spider would be of any use against these bats and even if, it would probably take a lot of time.

Using your dagger to accurately cut the web and telekinesis to manage it without getting sticked to it, I guess we could do it. And I'm not a good spider trainer, so I guess it would be difficult to make it do as we wish. - Arty chuckled at his own joke.

[Chirp]

"Yeah, it was silly of me to suggest that." He said and laughed a little as the two walked back towards the spider, where Majem began to cut the web and construct some nets with a non-sticky string on for Bleyd to hold on to.

Majem successfully creates the Sticky Trap.  His Trick will root any opponent unfortunate enough to come in contact with it.

I thinks that's good enough. Let's head back and chase some bats! - Arty started heading back, stopping before the corner to not draw any unnecessary attention before the time.

The Scouting Bats seem to be very easy to defeat, though there are ten of them.  The difficulty will not be defeating them individually, but when they begin swarming.  Hopefully, the Sticky Trap will be able to take out enough to make the rest of the encounter easy.

"Ah yes." Majem remarked as he returned with the freshly weaved trap. "We made this trap out of the spider's web. Just fly up there and make sure the bats' wings get stuck. Then they'll fall down like fruit." Majem moved his hoof over one of the strands of silk. "This one isn't sticky, hold it here so you don't get yourself entangled."

ok ok i try. bleyd start to fly with web. it touches you attract the attention of the bats

"Very well." Majem says and pops around the corner where the bats were scouting previously. He takes his knife and scraped it over the floor.

Be careful, Majem. There is a chance that Bleyd doesn't trap all of them, and they may go for you. - Arty said, summoning his shadow as a backup plan and getting his staff ready.

[Chirp]

"Too late!" He shouted and began to laugh, so that the bats would surely hear him now.

The bats turn as a swarm and begin swooping blindly towards the sound.  Their echolocation is unable to detect the spider's web, and they are all Rooted/defeated!

Haha, I like your daring style! - Arty said, looking at the pony drawing all the attention unafraid. But his worries were useless, as all the bats got successfully trapped by the net.

Good one, Bleyd! At the beginning, I didn't think you could think of something like that, but you really make your fame as a hunter. - Arty said, laughing and congratulating the hunter's successfull plan. - So, let's keep going?

i think in exterminate bats any problem? isnt a worthy enemy but all are danguerous
