There's a navy mare trick flying over the plaza, most likely training. She's doing some snap rolls, close loops, and sharp, dangerous dives. Her primary and secondary feathers are highlighted red.

"Of course, Rainbow, I was actually going to stop by your place to give it to you earlier," smiled the mare.  She levitated the book out of her saddlebag and floated it over to the pegasus with her magic.  "Happy reading, just be sure to return the other one that you borrowed."

Would you like a demonstration, Twilight?

"Of illusion and optical magic?  It might be interesting!"

Professor Scroll nodded as well.  "It would be interesting to see how other unicorns work with optical magics outside the Academy.  The standard curriculum regarding illusions may have its benefits, but perhaps somepony who practiced and perfected the ability on their own might have new insights to add to the craft."

Yellow flashed his horn(and it flashed many colors) Hey Twilight, look at yourself! She was different colors than usual! She was orange with a darker orange mane and tail, and the pink stripe was now blue. Don't worry, the effects wear off if it's on a living thing. Rainstorm looked down. Oh yeah. Yellow. May I? Uh, yeah. Rarity's not here anymore. I only did it so she would think better of you. Alright! Be right back. He flew off. You're probably wondering what he's talking about. He always has muddy hooves, but when he was meeting Rarity for the first time, I used my clean spell on his hooves to help him leave a first impression... and so he would be allowed into her house. It's just his thing, you know? You know how she is, right Twi? I hear she knows you.

And the cleaning spell is pretty cool too. First, levitate your object, keep it levitated, then make it non-solid, and the dirt falls right out. Then put it back to normal.
