In honesty I'm not hardcore into this game, I just started playing again because you guys were playing.

I'll see if we can get you to 20 fast   there's a few Fellowship quests I can help you on for fast leveling.  Mostly the strategy is "do every quest you see" if you come across non-grey quests.

Well I was doing that earlier, got bored and logged off.

I know the feeling   but the world's so expansive and awesome that I keep coming back   even if just to run to a high place and take a look around at the sunsets stretching all the way to the horizon or something.

Yeah...the game is beautiful and the landscapes are massive and unique.

I want boats we can control, so I can boat out into the sea towards the sun....and most likely get eaten by some horrible sea monster.

too bad the sea rarely ever shows up in the Books before the Fields of Pellanor   I guess the designers don't want anypony getting strange ideas and trying to sail off Arda into Valinor all on their own.  That, and I don't think they've expanded anywhere near that far yet; I know they have Rohan, but Gondor's not released, and Ered Luin doesn't go far south or west enough to reach the Grey Havens.  And Forochel saps your morale when you go for a swim

So today I went questing, got my own pony, and sat outside the prancing pony playing my lute. Then a guy gave me a "tip" of 300 silver! 

Oh happy day...

indeed   which is why I love the Hills of the Shire theme in the housing, though currently my house has Tom Bombadil's song.

did you fall off a cliff?  get beaten by a high-level mob?

I was fighting a spider queen, she had 4 minions that would fight with her.

I killed 1 of the minions before having to use a revive. Once I revived I healed and fought her again.
I WOULD have killed her, since I killed the other 3 minions easy and it was 1v1.
UNFORTUNATELY some other spider that wanders about got too close and joined the fight.

ah yes, she's a tough one. Luckily, I didn't even know she existed until I was around level 15...

But anyway, feel free to add me; I can probably drop by and give you a hand if we both happen to be on.

Lol one day I dared a guardian of my kinship to swim to a glacier in the sea (I pointed it out) and when he did nothing happened to him
