Go Down

Wind Storm

So, reading plots of potential roleplays to jump into, and decided to create a new OC.
(Mostly because making characters is fun as well.)
I also needed to put up Flash Flood's info as well.
So...here we go!

Flash Flood

Spoiler: show
Name: Flash Flood
age: 16
Gender: Filly
Race: Pegasi
looks: Medium blue with A dark and light blue striped mane and tail. (Pokes Siggy)
Cutie Mark: A light gray rain cloud, raining.
Talent: Bringing the rain clouds in, and getting them to rain a plenty.

Personality: Quite the opposite of her sister Wind Storm, Flash Flood  very down to earth for a pegasus pony. She is very close to her family, and has a sense of dedication to them. She is not afraid to speak her mind, and it causes her to get into a fair amout of arguments. A bit on the serious side, this pony needs to always be doing something. Regardless if it is kicking back up stray clouds that have floated down to Ponyville, or reading a book, she is always working to better herself. In this sense, Flash Flood tends to come off as egotistical, or condescending when she talks to other ponies. She feels that many of the ponies work ethic in Ponyville, is severely lacking. She feels that everything should be done 110%, and done well. This particular trait comes from her desire to impress  Wind Storm. Yet, underneath her sometimes harsh exterior, the filly is a loyal friend to anyone who trys to get to know her.

Background: Flash Flood lived with her Mother, Father, and Sister in Baltimare, living the average, middle-class life.  She was taught at a young age the value of hard work, and that life lesson has been the one that stuck with her the most. She was a strong willed filly, and had little interest in playing games or other frivolous things with her classmates. Because of this,  she spent much of her time at home with her Father and sister. At 10 years, she was noticed to have an affinity for the weather, and was always seen out playing in the rain, practicing her kicks and wrangles. She developed her Cutie Mark soon after, and realized that a weather pony was a useful, and worthy occupation for her future.  She developed plans to go to Cloudsdale, and join the factory there. When Wind Storm moved out, she saw it as a chance to get a closer look at the fascinating factory, and begged her parents to live with Wind Storm. When her parents agreed, she moved to Ponyville, where she works as a part time weather pony, waiting for her chance to go to Cloudsdale and see how real serious ponies act.

Fears: Losing her family. A lack of things to do.

Aspiration: To be useful.

Scout

Spoiler: show
Name: Scout
Age: 25
Gender: Mare
Race: Pegasus
Looks: Medium brown body, with a choppy white mane, and short white tail. Her eyes are a dark maroon color, and she had three small spots on her left cheek.
Cutie Mark: A circle with a plus sign through it, akin to that of a scope.
Talent: She can see things from great distances, and notices the smallest details in everyday items and life.

Personality: Scout is an easy going pony, with a flair for fun. She takes very little in life seriously, instead spending her time relaxing on clouds, racing, playing games, and entertaining other ponies. She thinks a day is wasted if you haven't laughed at least once. She likes to joke around, especially with the younger fillies and colts. Despite her laid back nature however, she is extremely protective. If she see's even the smallest thing out of order, that might cause harm or trouble she is the first to help fix it. From cracks in the wall, to smudges of dirt on a ponies coat, she will call it out. She comes off as a bit callous, but her heart is in the right place. Scout is extremely dense to her tactless ness, and gets confused when other ponies get offended by her frank analysis. Yet, if trouble comes she will merely shrug her shoulders and trek on, straightening a picture frame on her way out of the door.

Background:
Scout grew up in Las Pegasus, to a well off mother and father. Both were ponies of the fashion circle, with the finest clothing, and company in the city.Scout was taught at a young age what clothes were the best, and which were a cheap knock off. She was told to see the difference between a diamond, and a fake, and other such silly things. Perhaps being trained to see such little things since birth led to her sharp eyes. She received her cutie mark at the young age of 10, when she realized a watch being sold to her father was not brand, but instead a very convincing knock off.
Well, after she made this call, her parents really started taking a notice to her. They often involved the young filly in their affairs, making sure they were getting the better end of a deal, and so on. Well, after years of appraising on diamond after another, the now 13 year old Scout grew tired of it all. She stripped off the fancy clothing, strode over to her parents, and told them she was done.
Well, as one can image a young filly can only make such an impression, especially when she stood many hands shorter than her elders. Yet her parents, as material as they were, realized they would rather have a cheap diamond than lose their daughter. So, they decided to stop the jewel business, and move to Hoofington, a smaller quieter location where Scout could finish her school, and her parents could retire in peace. It was here Scout truly grew, finding a new love in the familiar, laid back city.
She finished her schooling, and at 18, decided to move to Ponyville after finding a small place to live there.
Eventually, she moved into a two story building, and opened up a day care service on the bottom half, knowing her eyes wound't allow for anything to happen to the small fillies and colts. This day, she lives in Ponyville, with her services open on the weekdays, and using weekends for fun and relaxation. That is, unless someone needs something found. Then you can usually find her speeding around the town, and it won't be long before you hear a familiar exclamation of success, as Scout victoriously returns a lost trinket or treasure to a pony in need.

Phew that took a while.  :3
