My OC's

A collection of my various OC's throughout time and space. Galinndan is the ancestor of all of these ponies, but his legend stopped being told in most branches of the family.

Rogan

Age: 13
Personality: School work is easy, and he has been pick ed on for that his entire life. He trained himself to either run or seek shelter whenever confronted with a strong pony. Most ponies underestimate his strength and he wants to keep it that way. He wants to be seen as simply a smart pony, and doesn't want anypony to fear him. However, he will take a stand if his friends are in danger. His parents hoped that sending him to this BOARDING school would help lessen the bullying problem.
Appearance: Dark red coat, red and green mane, blue and green tail, his cutie mark is a scroll.

Rank: Nerdy outcast
Other: Rogan shields himself in his social awkwardness and intelligence. The way he sees it: Never forget what you are, armor yourself in it, and ponies will never be able to use it against you. Unfortunately, this means that when it comes to crushes, Rogan is nothing. Whenever he sees the filly that he likes, he enters this instinctive awkward silence state. The only attempts that he can make to communicate with whoever she may be are through his poetry. Unfortunately (again), as soon as his poetry is fueled by emotion, it becomes a force as destructive as the galactic fleet of Krikkit. He also likes to make nerdy references to video games, books and movies.[/spoiler]

Dawnfire

Backstory: Although new to the land of Equestria, Dawnfire has been studying magic all his life. Before moving here, he lived in a far off land, where his parents owned a most prestigious magical school. Life was good for him there: he had enourmous libraries to learn all sorts of magics, both for common day use and the rare ocassion when he would have to defend himself. Then, one day, a dark Unicorn royal of some sort named Sombro visited the school. Soon afterwards a dark mist stole his parents away. He ran away from the school, into the nearby forest. It was there that he truly learned how to use his magic. He survived in the forest for many years, and now he is tracking the mist. He tracked the mist as best he could, even though that was one of the areas of magic he had yet to begin training in. Somehow he traced the origin of the cloud to the middle of the land of Equestria. He is still not sure what caused the mist, or how to stop it, but he is always training so that he will be more ready than his parents if it should ever come for him.

Personality: Reserved, will only laugh in the face of an incompetent foe, but is ready and willing to face anything in the name of his family and friends.

Special Talent: Magic (mostly combat magic but can also use utility spells)
Cutiemark: A flaming bolt of lightning.
Additional Skills: He is awfully good at running
Occupation: Learning magic
Strengths: Good at logic puzzles, and combat magic if attacked by monsters, ( for a while after his family disappeared, he had to fend for himself in the wild. He doesn't know how to, for example, summon a spell that can do anything, but he can at least summon small fires and sparks of lightning). His utility spells include basic protective barriers (that can: keep fighting friends apart, catch falling items, provide some protection against flames, and can even create a temporary breathable area underwater), levitating objects (up to twice his own weight [around 120 kg.]), or just summoning a small flame to light up a dark area.
Weaknesses: Talking to fillies he finds attractive, getting into conversations that don't make other ponies at least dislike him, thinks he is more powerful than he actually is which leads him into a lot of trouble, has four left hooves.

Galinndan

Species: Unicorn
Alliance: Unicornia
Role: Fiercest magical fighter in the whole of the Unicornian guard.
Personality: If any of you know my other OC Dawnfire, essentially like him: http://forum.legendsofequestria.com/index.php?topic=3008.0. This is his most powerful ancestor so he gets it from him.

Equipment: His knowledge of magic, tomes, quills, ink, and parchment.
Important info/background story: Galinndan quickly gained fame throughout Unicornia as a skilled magical fighter, which earned him a place on the front lines of the war. While he refused to harm, let alone kill, the Pegasi who were essentially ponies like him, he still gained the respect of his troops by surrounding them in magical barriers that let magical spells out, but prevented anything getting in. He misses magical fights where he is not expected to kill anypony. He wishes to go on a quest where he can fight the true enemies of the Unicornian empire. His magical talents include: summoning flames up to the size of his head, summoning only one lightning bolt at a time, firing a beam of fire and lightning, able to summon up a basic magical barrier that can catch falling ponies without causing them harm, withstand up to 1000 degrees C, deflect weak lightning bolts, create a bubble of air underwater (with only a temporary supply of air of course), and deflect small physical blows, and of course, levitating anything below 5 times his weight.[/spoiler]

Flaming Dawn

Inventory: Books, supplies (he travels a lot) such as blankets, food, water, pots, and pans.

Bio: Ever since he was a colt, he has heard wonderful stories of the adventures of his ancestor, Galinndan, from before the founding of Equestria (http://forum.legendsofequestria.com/index.php?topic=3141.0), and his more recent ancestor Dawnfire (http://forum.legendsofequestria.com/index.php?topic=3008.msg214519#msg214519). When he was old enough to go out into the world on his own, he left home seeking his own life of daring adventures. He has always had an affinity for all magic, but the most potent of these are his combat spells. (his arsenal is the same as Dawnfire's)[/spoiler]
