Occupation: Reading to colts and fillies in their schools.
Backstory: Destiny was born in Manehatten, she was never allowed to go outside the home because her parents were to afraid she'd get hurt, the only time she was allowed to go out if it was for school or with her parents. Her mother was a pegasus and father an earth pony, she took after her mother and her twin sister after her father. Destiny and her sister never got along, her sister always wanted to play and Destiny always wanted to read. As Destiny grew up, she wanted to go fly even more than ever, one day her mother finally gave in and let Destiny fly around the house, meaning outside in all sight of the home, her mother kept a close eye on Destiny, that day unfortionately, Destiny lost some of her feathers and part of her wings, she still wanted to fly but couldn't her father being a smith, built her some little lighter metal attachments to let her fly again, she practiced flapping with them first, it'd be a great struggle to fly with the light metal attachments. When she was 14 she finally learned to fly with them, it took her 6 years to be able to fly, now Destiny lives in Ponyville.
About her mane/tail: The black parts of it is not natural but black dye, it's also naturally short.
Personality: Caring, friendly, can be a bit quiet when reading alone
Flaws: Sometimes doesn't notice somepony is ahead of her
Likes: Flying, reading, young foals
Dislikes: Running, Playing

Once she is completely finished, you can criticize everything about her, but until then try to help or criticize what is already there.

I like this backstory! But what made Destiny want to fly more than ever? Did she see another pegasus flying when looking out a window?

What made her parents so overprotective of her?

How did they react when she moved to Ponyville?

HOW did Destiny lose her feathers and part of her wings? Did they get caught in some contraption?

It would be nice to know more about her personality.

It makes it seem like she doesn't have anything she's good at, but I suppose that's because you haven't decided on her cutie mark yet.

Still, it's a good oc. I just wish you can expand on her personality and history a bit. But I supose she's still WIP, so thats fine.

The reason she wanted to fly more was that she was unable to fly, it just caused her to want to more.
