Flame and Ice listen to the conversation

"Rigor saw her. She was there just before the candles started to go out."

Rigor colored, "It was really quick, she seems to not want to be seen.  I thought I imagined her for a moment."

Maybe she didn't come into the foyer cause she thought we were strangers or something?..even ghosts get scared too..I think.

"Indeed, that was Lilly. She never did get that white dress. Well, you should probably go before she disappears again. Her presence is still there."

Hi ho hi ho. It's off to the foyer we go. he said singing and taking the lead.

"Well it got stained didn't it?" she asked before turning to head to the foyer, "I suppose, I'll go.  Do you want to come with us Rose?"

Rose looked away. "I'd uh....rather not. I don't really like the floor there. It does weird things." She said. "I'll watch from the door to this corridor."

Are you slowpokes coming or not? Moonlight called walking down the hall to the foyer.

"Alright, sweetie.  You be careful," she said, even though she knew the poor girl was dead the idea that she was scared even as a ghost unnerved Rigor.  She sighed and turned to follow Moonlight, "We are coming."

In the foyer, the candles were still out. The moon shone brightly through a stain glass window that showed the first image the had seen. The red from Lilly's dres along with the apples bathed the shining black floor in red light. In the middle of the circle of light that shone through the window sat a filly in a crimson dress. She was looking up at the stained glass window, seemingly mesmerized.

Rose sat in the doorway to the corridor, watching.

Moonlight saw Lily looking at the stained glass and approached her slowly so he wouldn't scare her away. Lily? he said softly so he wouldn't startle her.

Rigor walked carefully behind Moonlight, keeping silent.  Deciding it would probably scare the filly more if more than one pony spoke.

"So, you've made your choice?"the filly asked. She didn't turn around.

"Our.. choice?"  Rigor couldn't help but ask as she stepped towards the filly, "What choice is there?"
