Regeal Verivi

Regeal Verivi is a... Odd pony. Her body could be mistaken by the figure of a griffin, as well as her wings. This is mainly because of her weird coloration of complementary colors, and her height. (Which could be matched the height of Nightmare Moon.) Her griffin like attitude is even more noticeable in the way she walks and speaks. The most apparent things is that her hat is the most important thing to her, as if it reminds of a long lost pony that she once knew. Regeal quite often gets in trouble with other ponies, because pressing buttons is a thing she does very frequently.


Her most notable feat is being able to fly past the tropopause, and into stratosphere for the total of 30 minutes to fly back most unscathed. But even this is unknown to most common ponies, being that it was for scientific reasons. This is mainly due to the potency of the 'Breath Underwater' spell if charged to create a bubble of a measurable size. (Which I find canon from 'Sea Ponies') This feat was not accomplished from a stopped position, she had first to reach a near 'Sonic Rainboom' speed to exit the Tropopause. What is unknown about this pony is that her world is beginning to fall about her, as a celebrity falls out of it's popularity. Regeal isn't one for the spotlight, but can hold a conversation with about anypony.

Coat Color: Orange
Mane-Tail Color: Sky Blue
Noteable Features: Her Tulip Gold eyes quite often confuse her for a predatory being. And has a very long fuse, and doesn't get angry very quickly. If you get the chance to notice, she has very long and rugged scars under her wings, this hidden to most ponies who don't take time to notice them.

I was about to say... she looks pretty scathed in that picture. I also can't see myself mistaking her for a Griffin. And I'd love to know exactly how she manages to fly so high, unless the laws of air density are not the same in Equestria (which I would be willing to believe).

I'd also like to know what inspired her name. It seems more like a human name than a pony name.

I also like the hat. And the scarf. I seem to like scarves on ponies.

For one, even though Imma terrible artist, her figure could be mistaken for a Griffin. Being that she is almost the height of Nightmare Moon, ( Roughly 6'5 ) which is more then the average pony.

Second, the name. It is a more or less northern pony name (By my standards), and is a joke to her. Being that she is less then 'Regal'. And to find later that she is a quick flier, nicknamed herself Gale. Regeal has a very rough and Nordic-like accent, so when she put the two together, got Regeal.

I'd like to say that it was kept a 'Hush Hush' operation, but was expressed quite frequently in the science field. Maybe space travel could be involved.

same place, different distance.  "stratosphere" is about in between.  the information would probably be useful for transportation or imperial defense research, which is somewhat related to Feather's current field of study.  accounting for all the variables and possible vulnerabilities in magitronic equipment at high altitudes would be necessary if the Imperial Ministry of Defense wanted to build upper-atmosphere vehicles for espionage and such.

nah, I'm just interested because Feather is one of the major "scientist" characters around here that works on something approximating magical electronics, and weather magic studies might intersect with his research in interesting ways.

Had a splurge of updating to this character. If you find anything that seems abit TOO Mary Sue. Let me know, and I'll try to resolve it.
