Now I shall elaborate on my OC, this may take a while!

[Voidwalker]

Well hello again.
I briefly described my OC pony in my introduction to this forum post, but this seems like the best place to elaborate.
Name: Voidwalker
Race: Earth Pony
Age: unknown, approx. 27 (not through mystical means, this pony just forgot his birthday several years in a row  )
Gender: stallion

Coat: pastel dark purple
Eyes: dark green (though may appear hazel in low light)
Mane & tail (colour): dark blonde with light brown highlights
Mane: always tied back, sometimes with braids at the sides
Facial hair: duelist moustache and a long goatee
Tail: long (for a stallion) and unkempt
Horn: Editon VI magic implant (metal with flashy lights, artificial)
Wings: Edition IX flight cybernetics (metal, electrically charged, artificial)
Clothes: sometimes wears a black robe with a vibrant green cape
Cutie mark: Question-marks surrounding a swirly stay, representing both his whimsical/chaotic nature and his technomancy

Personality: Whimsical and quirky, slightly arrogant and a touch evil (though this rarely shows). Regardless, he is generally polite and cooperative towards other ponies and creatures.
Special skill: Technomancy (the emulation of magic through technology)
Technomantic Abilities: Flight, Reactor purge (intense heat but must cooldown, disables all systems until cooldown complete), Levitation

Voidwalker lived in an isolated village when he was young, and was one of the very few earth ponies there, and the only earth colt.
Due to this he was isolated from the groups of friends at school, as he could not join in their games (or some of the race specific lessons), and the other earth ponies were far older than him.
As he aged he grew bitter and jealous of the pegasi's flight and the unicorn's magic, he began to dream of ways in which he too could fly and weave spells.
Soon he began to experiment with artificial wings, but these were often unreliable.
One day when he was testing them a gust of wind forced him down a canyon and the spars in the wings snapped on the jagged walls. He believed he would be trapped there indefinitely.
Then as he was despairing a young unicorn filly by the name of Cloudy Zenith came across him while searching for rare herbs, accompanied by her brother Stratos (a stallion who recently got his cutie mark).
After introducing themselves Stratos offered to help Voidwalker out. Voidwalker hesitantly agreed, but then pointed out that Stratos would not be able to carry both him and Cloudy Zenith and as she was so young Cloudy could not be left on her own. He politely asked Cloudy if she could use her magic to repair the glider instead, and as it turns out Cloudy had quite powerful magic.
Stratos pointed out that Voidwalker would still be unable to take off without wind or altitude, but Cloudy Zenith had some herbs that burned ferociously. Once the fire was light Voidwalker could use the thermals to escape. But he could not accept the pony siblings help in return for nothing, so he assisted them in gathering the herbs found at the bottom of the canyon. THe three quicly became friends and Voidwalker's bitterness vanished swiftly (though he still felt a little jealous). Eventually, after a couple of years, he manged to develop a crude form of technomancy, and with it discovered just how whimsical his nature was thus earning his cutie mark (rather late, as Cloudy had already earned hers, despite being far younger). When his friends left for Canterlot (Stratos to work as a royal guard, Cloudy Zenith to attend the magic academy) when he was 19, Voidwalker decided to roam the world to inspire his work on technomatic devices (which are still mildly faulty and inferior to real magic and wings).

Back-story: Originally from Calling Canyon, Cloudy and her brother Stratos tended to keep to themselves until they helped Voidwalker.
their selflessness on that day made them realized how much they liked helping people. Cloudy Zenith got her cutie mark when she could not only fix broken object, but could also heal ponies.

Personality: Helpful, protective, surefooted. Can be a little brash.
Special Skill: Able to lift heavy loads, provided he can get a purchase with his hooves. However a back injury means he can only carry light weights on his back.

Personality: Accepting, trickster, enjoys showing off. Dislikes being visible for extended periods of time.
Special Skill: Stealth (aided by outline braking coat colours)
Backstory: I'll think about it.

Pýrstar

Name: Pýrstar
Age: 38
Gender: Stallion
Race: Pegasus
Appearance: A deep navy coat with charcoal black hair tips, mane and tail. Both mane and tail show signs of being singed. His mane is slicked back and combed with rows, while the tail is cropped short with a jagged edge. Some glasses with a pair of shaded loupes rest firmly against his eyes and a bandoleer strung and packed with various firework components hangs around his neck like a necklace.
Cutie-mark: An exploding vial.
Personality: Accepting, trickster, enjoys showing off. Dislikes being visible for extended periods of time.
Special Skill: Pyrotechnics
Backstory: It took Pýrstar a long time to discover his cutie mark as he never really plated with explosives until his cousin asked him to help set up a music gig. The roadie for the gig has bailed and an extra hand was needed to carry the equipment. Once the gig had been set up, Pýrstar's cousin realised that she didn't have a large flare and blast set up for the shows finale. She asked Pýrstar to try and rig something up just before she went on. Clueless as to how to achieve the objective he had been given, Pýrstar fumbled around in the pyrotechnics box and was lucky enough to come across a diagram to rig the stage to catch with ethereal fire. Deciding that this would look much better than a flare, he ran a drilled pipe under the back of the stage before pumping methylated spirit and copper chloride through it. As his cousin finished her act her ignited the mixture, sending up a wall of ghostly blue flames.
