Suddenly the herd was aware of shouts and screams, not just from the townsponies.  It took only a single glance into the sky to realize the reason for the shouting- Pegasopolis was attacking again.

Blinding snow and lightning flashed out of the war-chariots as a squad of pegasi swooped down, raiding and pillaging as they went.  Houses went up in flames driven to a roar with rushing winds, and tornadoes ripped through barricades like a knife through warm butter.

But still the tax collectors kept hoarding their treasures, not to be separated from the stolen goods.  And so many earth ponies fell still clutching bags of cold metal and hard stone.  Yet neither gold nor jewels were the goods desired; food it was that the raiders sought, and the haggard-looking warriors ignored the scattered fortunes lying all about, making only for the grains and the last summer's harvest.

A small sky-wagon was perched low as its bearer fell, hanging in midair within jumping distance of an easily accessible rooftop nearby.  In the chaos of the moment, the group might just have a chance to slip onboard or even take the wagon for their own, if they hurried.

The Doctor looks at the wagon for a moment then back to the town and thinks
Getting to Pegasopolis or helping the townsfolk?...I am so so sorry
The Doctor rushes to the wagon then climbs to the rooftop and slips in

Aeon notices the wagon and the Doctor getting in he rushes towards it and gets in

I feel terrible leaving these people...I only hope we can come back and help them

The Doctor said looking at Aeon

They don't have to be real, they just have to look convincing

Aeon's horn glows [glow=red,2,300]alright aaaaannnddd done[/glow] lights surrounds the two Aeon's horn disappears  and wings appear on their backs

I hope this will fool the pegasi...and now we wait

Yes...it truly is but we can help them, not now but soon

Yes but we are time travelers, we have seen it all from depression to war but all we can do is try our best to help and that means knowing our limits and opportunity

Soon enough, a squad of raiding pegasi spotted the sky-wagon and began to fly towards it.  There was only a little time before they would be close enough to see that it was not unoccupied.

Stay quiet Aeon...we have company
The Doctor stays hidden in the wagon
