Dumb things that annoy you

I've only been playing Re: Chain of Memories on 1.5 HD Remix for awhile now...

And it's ALREADY annoying me.

I tend to disagree with you a lot, but this time...I agree completely.
I've never liked that ones combat mechanics, it always feels like a pain to play.
Why am I gonna play a game when all its gonna do is either tick me off or tire me out?  That's no fun.

I'm jealoussss. Europe and Scandinavia will get Miraculous Ladybug (or, as it's being called now, Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir, but that's just too long to say) on Disney Channel, while the USA will get it on Nickelodeon.

This wouldn't be an issue for me if it weren't for the fact that my cable and internet provider got into a fight with Viacom, dropped all the Viacom channels, and blocked their customers from viewing videos on Viacom channel websites.

So, I won't be able to watch Miraculous Ladybug, due to not having any Nickelodeon channels and due to being blocked from watching videos on nick.com, unless I find another way. It's a shame, really. It looks like the action scenes have really good animation, and it seems like an interesting show.

We've been informed that Scumbag Tyson will be closing down our factory for the entire week of Christmas, but only giving us holiday pay for Christmas eve and Christmas day. Because that's exactly what working-class people need is to lose half a week of wages right at Christmas time! If we want to get paid for the other 3 days then we're being forced to use paid vacation days for it, which is bogus. Those days are for personal time off, we shouldn't be forced to use them just to keep from getting stiffed.

Must be nice to be on a salary and not have to worry about stuff like these.

Using paid vacations for days the actual office (or factory or wherever someone works) is closed always struck me as a stupid idea, and I've never had to worry about that because I'm still dependent on my dad!  If the building is closed, don't short-change your workers for it, because YOU made that decision! 

It's actions like this that make me really hate corporations...and hate the fact that they're a necessary evil, at least with how our society is going.  It's just too easy for someone at the top to make a decision without ever knowing, or caring, about the damages it causes to far too many of it's workers.

I've been feeling sick all day, and when I decide I might try to go to bed early one of my hallmates decides to host a party in the common room.  Which is on the other side of one of my walls.  At 1 in the morning with people talking full volume and occasionally cheering at something they're watching.  That mixed with me being too shy to walk out there and ask them to keep it down is making for one cranky Midnight.

Nrrrrgh, we have to wait two weeks to see episode 3 of RWBY Volume 3.

At least this weekend's episode was super awesome.

Also, when a program is a bit sensitive about one little thing, and that was the source of all your problems.

when ppl take certain rumors and over exaggerated things on the news TOO seriously, i've been coming back to this country more times then i can count, i've walked these streets and talked english without anything ONCE happening to me but now that i wen't out with some of my family members there yelling at me for talking in english cause they think someone will think i have alot of money and grab me, seriously! EVERYWHERE IS DANGEROUS! but chances are very low that i'd be one of the many ppl to get in trouble outside

I hate it when someone comes on a pony site, but doesn't care at all for ponies.
They're just there to talk about their favorite anime, or video game or whatever.

I mean, I've seen countless people say the "I don't really care about ponies..." thing on a pony site.
Well, if you have something that's a bigger thing in your life then that's fine, just don't get annoyed when people talk about ponies a lot.
Or when someone gets annoyed at you for never wanting to talk about anything show related.

90% of the people say they're there because of the friends, which is a good thing I suppose, I guess I just hate seeing someone outgrow MLP;FiM.

And most people that I see do this squelch my love of MLP...

Am I just expecting too much from people? Or do (Most, not all) the people I keep meeting suck?
I mean...I can rarely be myself around anyone.

Everyone finds me either depressing, boring, too hyper, or whatever...
They always find some flaw in me to nitpick at.

People only ever want to befriend me skin deep.
Anything more is just not desirable for them.

I think I found the problem and I'm working on a solution, but people won't like it.
But that's because most of the people I've been running into are disagreeable and will only have themselves to blame.

Whoever thought a happily ever after would have such a dark beginning?
Heh, I guess it gets to show how far I've come going to go.

I agree. If you don't like the fandom, and you don't really want to be on a site, why go there?



It annoys me when people who look over my shoulder while I'm on an MLP site and they judge me for liking the show or the fandom, or just outright laugh at me and place me in an incorrect stereotype.

If you don't like something, don't bother with badgering someone who does, especially when they don't point it out to you. And if you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all...

I really wish I could let the past go, and accept things as they are now.

Long long ago, my bestest good friends and I used to be able to play every single day, to a point where it was strange and suspicious if one of us suddenly disappeared for a day. But nowadays it seems keeping contact just feels like such a struggle, due to real life keeping us all away from each other, and we will probably never be as free as we used to again.

Y'know, oranges and apples were originally quite small, but also much more flavorful than the bigger oranges and apples we have today. The bigger oranges and apples we have are the result of people breeding bigger fruit to provide people with more food, but it has resulted in watered-down fruit. They didn't really pay attention to flavor.

That's why I stopped eating apples for a while, until we found some lady apples at the grocery store.
That's also why those tiny oranges that're meant for kids are sweeter and more flavorful than big oranges.

Buuut, hey, if it weren't for that breeding, corn would still be the size of your thumb. That's the power of GMOs.

Meant for kids? Really? There's people that think that just because something is small then it's meant for kids? I just find that really silly, and yeah, smaller fruit has a ton more taste, though there's also some issues with taste variance between types too, I've tried Norwegian strawberries plucked here in norway, and then imported strawberries, the norwegian ones had much more taste, though I wouldn't be surprised if the imported ones either were GMO to be as big as possible and based on a smaller breed or if it's just something about difference in taste between types.

And yeah, one thing that also annoys me a ton, when I find actual SOUR candy, and then it gets pulled later and replaced with sweet candy marketed as sour, ugh.
