Every creature was gathering to help with the celebration as much as possible. Druids were testing the last performance on their list, artisans were ready to start reading the poems, but musicians weren't sure about certain chords. The sun was about to set, and bears decided to plant a great amount of torches around the center of the village, where the celebration was held, and some hanging lanterns on some cottages. Looks like everything was almost ready.

Silent Leaf drew herself to the side, where was the most dark place. Neither she was hungry, nor she was the partying type person. One of her no longer hunters sat next to her and they both watched the preparations.
"Looks like everything turned out well.... almost.... Don't you think?"
[shadow=black,left]"Yea... I couldn't see any other possible solution. Besides, now YOU will be having the pleasure to lead the hunters. I'm sure you will do well. Even if there's no war, you still are members of this clan who want to live their lives. Live forever, my brother. Now, go and have some fun."[/shadow]
Last words she said as cheerfully as she could.
"But how about you, Children of the Shadows? Don't tell me you're going to sit there and just watch..."
[shadow=black,left]"Actually, yes. I will. You know me perfectly, don't you?"[/shadow]
He smiled and said with bored voice.
"I see... Haven't you thought about changing yourself? You know, like... trying to interact with others? Make connections?... friends?...."
[shadow=black,left]"Friends... you say... Tell me, what does it mean to be a friend?"[/shadow]
Hunter got up and laughed.
"You are just as always, Silent Leaf. You never talk much, but when you do, nothing can win with you. I hope that someday I'll be as good as you."
He moved to the celebration zone and began helping, talking, and so on.
[shadow=black,left]"I really hope you will never be like me... I've done enough evil to this world..."[/shadow]
She whispered.

Few bear cubs and a fawn gathered around Teal and his little comrades to take them to the celebration zone. Not only to get a help from them, but to let them see what is being done.
"Come on, come on!"
Bear cub shouted.

Okay Okay let's go! Teal says giggling.
The foals all happily hopped up and down while following the bear cub with Teal tailing.

"Look at all the delllliiicccoussss stews and meals! I can't wait to sink my teeth at it!"
Said excited bear, while deer shouted in response.
"And I can't wait to hear the story! I've seen some druids, and they said that performance is going to be sooo awesoome! "
((Can you imagine deer Rainbow Dash? I can't.... ))
They both looked at Teal, while their three other friends were glaring upon all the food.
"What music do you think they will play?" - asked little fawn - "Sad?" - bear - "Happy?" - fawn - "Scary?" - bear - "Joyful?" - fawn - "Vivacious?" - bear - "Sorrowful?"
Two toddlers were literally showering Teal and his fellow ponies with questions.

Teal put a hoof on each of the two talkative creatures' heads.
I'm sure it will be something happy, maybe even something new given the circumstances.
The foals were all looking at the food same at the bear and fawn's 3 three friends.

Abhainn was sitting at a large gilded table set up where the throne used to be, talking with Laoch and the crone.   Gothai was helping to set up tables and chairs and bring out food, while Fancy and Strokes were sitting at another table having a colorful conversation about war, peace, democracy and the philosophy of happiness.

Teal leads the foals to an empty table and lets them sit down.
You all just wait here, I'm gonna go find where they keep the food they are bringing in.
Teal turns and looks around. He spots Gothai setting up tables, chairs and food and trots over.

"Ah, hello again, Teal!" the doe said with a smile.  "I trust you are enjoying yourself?  The celebration should be starting quite soon, as soon as the Leader finishes her discussion with the other Leaders."

"It will be served as soon as the Leader announces the start of the celebration!" said Gothai.  "Right now it's still being finished in the various homes where the others are making it.  Feasts are a Clan matter after all!  Everydeer and everyone takes part in helping out!"

Gothai smiles and says, "You are welcome to help out however you can!  I am helping to set up the tables, but if you can cook well, you are welcome to help cook!  Ask one of the deer, bears or ponies in one of the cooking-houses if you can help out or use the materials."

Another pony was cooking some lentil soup and stuffing mushrooms while she waited for it to cook.  Turning, she saw Teal and smiled.

"Welcome to my hearth, aoi onórach!  How may I be of service to you?"

Hi there! I wanted to know if you have any food I could use to make some meals of my own, do you have any fruits and veggies your not using?

She looked around, then turned back to Teal and nodded with a smile.  "There's a few turnips, some grain, cheese and some mushrooms if you like!  And also a few baskets of peas as well.  Feel free to use any of them, or some of the apples over in the box over there.  You can use water from the village well and the hearth to cook your food, and any pots or pans and such you can find lying around.  Careful not to bump the pot of soup, though!"

Apples of all kinds are inside. He drags the box over to a counter and grabs some pots.
He gets some water from the well and pours it into the pots and then boils it.
He grabs some turnips, slices them up and puts them into the pot along with some mushrooms.
While those are cooking Teal takes some cheese and makes it into a delicious cheese and grain dip and slices some apples for dipping.

The mare stirs the pot of lentils every now and then, and smiles as she watches Teal work alongside her.

The mare smiles and comes over.  "I'll try, if it helps!"  She gave it a taste, and said with a smile, "I think it tastes wonderful!  Exotic and different, certainly, but very good.  It does seem not too soft yet, though.  Might need to cook a bit more!"
