Zeal started to look at the hissing vampony. No fear, anger, annoyance, not even amusement was what he was feeling towards it. Perhaps it assumes thaat he was someone out to get them or possibly it was out for him as the most convenient prey.
"You think I'm an enemy, yes? Very unlikely, I suggest you calm down, else you'll be having a stake for dinner." he said

Cheveyo hears voices, and that is what woke him up. As a champion warrior of his tribe, he isn't alerted as much to background noise, but gets highly alerted to voices and stalk noises. Hearing words, he opens his eyes a bit, and then looks up to see and Marble Zeal again in the cave.

Cheveyo: You two have returned. Good to see you have taken shelter here, too... what is wrong?

He looks at Zeal, and looks back to the vampony he had taken with him as well, seeing both are about to prepare for a fight. Getting up in a defensive pose again, he targets the vampony knowing it had attacked him before, he feels the vampony is on the agression again. He pulls his axe in a combat pose.

Cheveyo: Enough! I shall not let you harm Zeal. I have taken you down once and spared you, this time I will not hesitate to take you out entirely. If you can speak, I want to know who you are.

On what Zeal said, it seems like he don't want to fight. Good because she too do not want to fight anymore, but...

When Cheveyo wakes up and the action he did now, she feels that she did something wrong... She back up even more further and eventually hit the wall behind her. She clearly don't want to fight right now.

Cheveyo sees her retreating back, wondering if either scared or just playing defensive. He comes up slowly, seeing she might be scared. Being cautious he comes more closer, to finally see into the eyes of the vampony. Being in the wild for so much and interacting with the animals helped him read emotions better.

I can see in your eyes. *puts his ax back on his band behind his head* We will not fight. It may just be my bad judgement. I will not hurt you, and you can trust me by my words. I wish to be an ally to you. I can forgive you for earlier. Can you trust me? *lends out a hoof*

Marble : what's going on here?

"From the looks of it Cheveyo found an unlikely ally somewhere."
He moved past Marble to take a quick look outside. It seemed that the rain and wind were slowly starting to resume. It was only a matter of time before they were ready to experience the 2nd round of the typhoon now that the eye has passed.
"...Its almost time."

Marble : wait..*she shakes her head* who?

"...The vampony" he points.

She is not sure what Cheveyo is doing. She hesitated before walking a bit forward, and she puts slowly her right hoof on his then she sits down. ((Eh, don't think about her as a dog))

*-Hehe. I kinda see her like a wild indigenous pony like how humans can behave also be wild in very secluded areas, almost back in the hunter-gatherer era.

Seems the storm is returning. We should continue to move. I will do what I can to bring this vampony with me to our shelter at the beach

He gets his other foreleg and covers the top part of the vampony's hoof.

Come with me. I take you somewhere safe. Food is there.

Back to our shelter. We have food and other things we need. I can't convince this pony to come with us soon, we may to wait again for the storm to go away.

"....Im afraid I cant determine whether to have that in mind seeing how close our camp is towards the shoreline."
Suddenly, everything went silent. The wind went still along with the rain ceasing. Had the storm passed by already? But, the air hasn't been that still even in normal weather. Upon further listening there was the sound of what seemed like a freight train. That was odd he thought, theres no way there could be a running train nor track on this island.
"....."
It only took a few seconds before Zeal caught on and turned his way towards Cheveyo and the others speaking in a chill tone.
*points*
"Go as deep as you can into the temple, and dont I repeat dont even think of going outside."

Cheveyo to Marble: I will do my best. I thank you for the help.

Cheveyo in his thought is shocked to hear her talk, let alone actually speak a familiar language. He continues, in a comfort tone.

Cheveyo to the vampony:  I do not hold grudges for long. Maybe what you did was by your instinct, and I can understand. I wish to make a bond. Together we can stand strong. Trust my words.

He hears what Zeal said of the storm and just now payed attention to the roar. It is nothing he ever heard, something louder than 100 elks running across the forest in a tight group near him.

The storm... it is furious... like... an empowerment of an apcolyptic evil. We will need to dig through the rock in the tunnel to go deeper.

*-Keep in mind we are in the now broken-down jungle temple and we are in the entrance corridor. You may recall the cave-in from when we entered from the front.

"Thats not a form of magic, thats just a water spo-...tornado being formed. typhoons tend to spawn them due to their conflicting temperatures and rotation especially since they can contain supercells. But they tend to be weaker than those formed on land"
