'This will take a few hours for me to heal.' he thought. He closed his eyes and slept to the point where no one could hear him.

I heard a constant beeping and I let the machine make me go to sleep. I drifted away from the real world, and fell into a deep healing sleep. The sleep was almost like a pleasant dream in itself. I finally got a chance to rest, which made me smile. Not a smirk, but an actual smile. I laid there for what seemed like hours, but only minutes had passed. I dreamed of my dog and my friends. I dreamed of everything I had learned from regular school, and Princess Luna's teachings. This made me smile.

After working till the evening maple sighed and made his way back to the room or more like cell that he had

The machine dings and I get up. I am in a great mood. I walk down the hall and see Maplewood heading back to his room.

"Hello Maplewood!" I said.

Looking up maple just frowns hopeing that the armed lunar guards can keep him out of sight"moondwellers they never learn" he whispers under his breath

Maple couldn't believe that this pony didn't notice that he was very much a prisoner here and not out for a stroll

"yeah well it's hard to be friendly while being told I have to build a machine of mass destruction instead of furthering ways of preventing that kind of thing" as he sighed the circles under his eyes became more prominent and he looked like sleep has been long overdue
