My theory on this is that Pumpkin Cake remember for some reason about the time spends with Sunset and Spike. I know it's strange to say that the baby remember the stuffs of it future self, but that's what I thought on what Misty is writting and on how the baby act...

After all, it's just my theory on Misty's crazy logic.
