I've been somewhere near that problem before, and I don't want to end up in that same thing again.
So you pretty much know how to handle yourself against the dinosaurs. The only problem is what we are gonna eat. We can get water from that river, but not sure what to eat. Honestly I don't want to eat dinosaurs, and don't know what fruits are safe to eat.

A surge of air bubble started to arise from the river nearby before a diamond dog with black fur and white patches on his chest chin and head shot out of the water, gasping for air as he crawled to land

He blew the water out of his nostrils and shook his fur dry I'd take that as a compliment, but I'll have to get to know you first He stood up and strained the water out of his black vest Where am I?

"It seems we're in the past. Because, there's dinosaurs around. And no civilization."

"No, why?" he said, and looking to the side, noticed a low-flying pterodactyl headed towards them, and he ducked under it. "Ooh, almost DID hit my head just then!"
